At the age of 14, Justin Roethlingshoefer was already obsessed with peak performance. That obsession led him to a career first as a professional athlete and then as a strength & performance coach working with the NHL for over a decade. As the productivity hack industry continued to grow, Justin noticed that the very thing he had been hired to do for NHL players was being integrated into entrepreneurial life. The only problem was people weren’t actually getting anything out of it. The more entrepreneurs and business leaders that came to him for advice on what he was doing to stay on top, the more he knew that there was a place for something like OwnIt to help maximize the output of these leaders. A 3 time best selling author, TEDx speaker, and expert in the space of energy mastery, resilience, and performance, Justin lives between NYC and Miami with his fiancé and dog Del. This is a study on how to talk around something without saying it. I too am waiting for action step 9.

He is talking about balance. If you work hard, you should balance work & life by taking time to completely relax and enjoy the moment, enjoy your people. Life balance and breath work develop a flexible autonomic nervous system able to respond to stressors without over reacting. The HRV is an indirect measurement of the inner health of your autonomic nervous system (ANS). Popularly understood, the ANS part of your nervous system that controls rest & digest and Fight or flight response. Helps?

I just finished your talk, you talk a lot about your life and then your clients and their HRV but still how is this helpful to us, if we were not educated how we measure this or how we can regenerate or improve our HRV, specific tools. 😢

I just got a Whoop wristband and found out my HRV is 9. I think Applewatch also measures HRV.

And how do you measure hrv over 100? It's metric at moment, 5min average, night average, night 5min average or something else? A lot of information without key details.

Elite HRV app and a heart rate monitor like a Polar H10, cheaper alternative to the apple watch

Your energy has a number and you need to increase that number to operate better but I’m going to tell you nothing about how to increase that number. I guess I’d need to pay $$ for that information. Interesting talk but ultimately a sales pitch.
