I love the Barbie/Polly combo, especially with the clear pockets in the dresses and the backpack/playsets. It's true that I couldn't see the plastic so it was like the Pollys magically stayed put. Wow Mattel did good with these! When you were dropping gems I thought you were providing your dolls with their own little nest eggs - so generous of you Kerchie. Thanks for the review!
Thank you for this video.I loved Barbie when I was little,my mom bought so many for me (still have them) and of course Polly Pocket (back then it was such an original and cute concept),even though I only had one that I still own and is sitting in my night stand and a ring which I have to look for in my mom's house.This video was the best of both worlds.❤

As someone who opened up a lot of vintage Barbies this year, they smell more like dust and factory mustiness. 😭 Def not the fresh plastic smell of my childhood. I recommend you wash her because even in the box they get really dusty in there. 30 years is a long time.
I feel the same about the Barbie body issue thing, I never felt the need to look like her. I love the new movie because they touch on this in a way that feels real. I will say that the new diversity is great to see. I’ve always loved Barbie cuz she is a boss and can do anything and everything she sets her mind to. She also proves that women are more than just what’s on the outside (most of the time).

These dolls all have kanekalon hair. It’s rarely used in Mattel dolls anymore. Ghoulia from G1 Monster High also has this hair.

I finally saw the Barbie movie and loved it! Yeah dolls and supermodels never gave me body issues. My body issues came from somewhere else entirely. 🤣
