Thanks for no external FX! I don't know why others show of synths with external FX, even some reviews. Totally fine if someone just playing around with a synth they bought, but when it's showing off the synth I don't get it.
Yeah, I mean if you're showcasing a synth and what it can do, like in context of making a full track - sure some basic 'verb or such on leads - makes sense. However, if you're trying to push the machine to it's absolute limits - then to me, the loading with effects becomes pretty needless and in some cases, a little distracting. Think it's important to hear a bit of kit "as is" showing any limits as well as it's strengths.
That sounds so good, I’m in the states so mine is order, I was told may by Christmas. I have so many percussion toys to play with this is going to fit in nicely! I’m planning on using it with Brains, I’ve played with it on Crave, but Edge is going to work really well! Peace
Enjoying my Edge ! Seems complicated at first, but after a while you get its logic. For the price its a no brainer. You can get some decent moogish sounds out of it or use it as an analog drum machine. It's pretty creative and experimental.
Alright: I can see only 2 other cables connected to the machine. 1 is the patch cable for the patch. No 2 is connecting the PSU. So what might be the purpose of the 3rd one?????
@@AlkisT Alright, I understand. Built quality might not be the best on the market but it is well exceeding that of Novation BS II. But I have another story: My friend's DFAM, gently used in his homestudio, broke a few months ago in its first year of service. We'll see how long the exchange unit will last.
I'm waiting on a edge but the crave is actually pretty well built , more I find boutique gear is more often stuff I have issues with , korgs build quality can be abit off too , I go a eowave quadrantic swarm , which is a great synth but the build quality is terrible , you'd actually be surprised, but u prob aren't interested .

Instant like for no fx dry demo.
Like on the like for no FX dry demo.
Good stuff.
I just bought one and it seems to be very sturdy.... No concerns about the build quality whatsoever.
the techno noise part is amazing
Excellent.
Well played.
It’s built like a tank. Same with the crave. Nice weight to it actually. Sturdy knobs. Check the loopop review.
Thank you. Lots of great tips here.. 0.44 in vid, that bass, nicey..
Glad you enjoyed it!

Yes, it's a very capable machine!
Really cool device❤
Great demo
Thank you!
Nice!
Minimal techno ❤️
Hello, i just got one, could you tell me how you connect the edge to a mix table ? I just saw that you are not using thé Phone out 😮😮
You connect the VCA out to your mixer input with the adapted cable.
@@LESINDES thank you !! Gonna try this ! 😋
Dope, bro!
C’est quand que tu sors du son man !? 😊
Hello. I can see that you've patched VCA output to somewhere else. Mind if I ask where to?

Behringer synths cost more later.
What do you mean. The built quality?
You’d need to break four of these beyond the 3 year warranty period, and in a way that isn’t easily fixable, for it to cost as much as a single DFAM.
