- This was the first ever trail that I rode when I moved out to BC, and has been a staple of more or less every Fromme ride I do. When I looked at the gangler for the first time I distinctly remember saying to myself "there is no way I will ever ride that stupidness". Oh how things change... Enjoy!

Nice - you made that look good! I was a bit surprised/disappointed that you didn't do the 2nd log ride at the A-frame, so I was glad to see that you went back and got it. :)
Had to do the "proper" trail first!
Heart rates of 172 going downhill always make me larf.

And the rate dropped by 3 beats going over the Gangler !
I rode Espresso today (late Sept 2022) and it rattled the fillings out of my head on the Optic - 140 / 125mm isn't cutting for me. I haven't ridden 7th Secret yet - looks interesting - thanks for uploading and good run.
Expresso is definitely a more-travel more-better kind of trail.

Weird, I thought I’d seen everything you posted the past year and a half, but don’t think I’ve seen this one. Going to Fromme next week and researching trails to try and happy I came across this one. You were flying! Knowing what you might know about where I am in the progression curve, what do you think about 7th, Expresso, Floppy Bunny, Pipeline and Bobsled as my hit list? Of those, which is the hardest? I’m thinking Pipeline?
Probably pipeline. I'd do Leppard, Crinkum to Kirkford as lap one and 7th to Expresso as lap two. Bobsled and floppy as bonus laps if you have the energy.

How do you get through all those tight trees with those handlebars at such a speed? That’s my main hesitation to get lots of speed on the shore
Wow, this is so beautiful, we need such trails over here in Europe.... That looked so easy, watching you riding, however, puls was 180 bpm, that was hard work. Respect. How many meters of elevation was the descent?
180 is very comfortable for me believe it or not! I believe this is around 200m vertical, check the Trailforks link in the description.

Nice! You know, if I hadn't seen Nick (VanCan) actually on your videos, I would swear that you and he were either the same person or brothers. You sound so much alike, but I think he may be a bit jumpier on the bike than you.
Haha, Nic is a wicked rider. We definitely take very different approaches to some sections of trail!
Dale is rather jumpy if you see him ride. He just has a chicken head which is why his footage looks smooth!

Brand new to mountain biking, had a blast at mt fromme today. Just wondering how you keep your feet from coming off the pedals on super rocky terrain at that speed. Does having a FS help?
A FS bike works wonders on this stuff, as does maintaining a loose body position over the bike.

The best course of action turned out to be nothing at all! 😉

@@BenderRodriguezBender I actually don't get any control over what options are available at the time of upload. It seems to process in two stages, SD and HD, and occasionally something fails and certain options (usually the highest ones) are not available.

Typically rear is 1-2 more. I think my happiest setup numbers I've written down are 17F and 19R on a 2.6".

I do believe the sign said 7th Secret, and I also believe the builder has remained the same for a long time.
