The Steepest Trail I've Ever Ridden

- "and then it got better", the trail. Every so often a trail comes along that just completely blows your mind. You can't stop thinking about it and itch to go back for more as soon as you're at the bottom. This is that trail for me, an extremely steep Euro-turn loamer that genuinely makes you feel like a superhero. Stoke is at an all time high and you can even hear the smiles. Thanks a ton to the builder for this absolute gem, and letting me film the good bits. Enjoy!
Trailforks: Nope, sorry! ;)

That trail looks so incredible. Hats off to you for keeping it quiet and anybody who doesn't get why you're not telling is where it is doesn't deserve to ride it.
Some of those switchbacks on the steeps almost looked like a jump turn on skis. Love hearing the sound of the tires on different surfaces.
I don't ski myself, but I completely agree with the analogy!
@@DaleStone Yeah, your front wheel is like the pole plant, then you turn around it. I ride skibike in the winter and that is exactly what it looked like.
Okay, this trail is awesome.
Wowww that looks good. I like that when you showcase secret trails you talk to the builder and obscure it well... there's some other UA-camrs that have video at look-out spots that totally gives away the location.... respect!
Definitely want to keep the goods hidden, and as long as they're hidden any content is fair game!
beauty of a trail, props to the builders, looks like a really good time
We have been watching your videos for a while now, great videos, and I have to say you have the clearest, easiest to watch videos out there.. Keep up the great ridin.🤘
Cheers, appreciate the kind words!
This trait looks really hot !!
Tkx for sharing this video with us.
Thanks to the builder for sharing (and allowing me to share) this gem! 🙏
This is pretty much my dream trail
Does anyone else just like to watch his videos for the noise that he makes while sending it down the trail
That trail looks sick. Well done guys.
The best trails always start with a lot of fresh dirt, tons of roots/sticks & before you know it, you're sending it!
Exactly! Trail? What trail?
I’m here before he hits 1mil
Sweet loam 🤘
Wow! What a trail
That looks amazing.
I love the bike noises.
This looks soooo good 🤟🏻
Awesome trail! I understand the secrecy of the trail...I hate it...But I understand it...But I still hate it...
Get exploring! You may find something even better. :)
8:34 I think there’s a mouse running for it’s life by the front wheel. Hard to tell
sweet trail... dosent look like it get rode that much? but definitely a lot of work put in the build it. cutting all those benches was work, very cool:)
It gets the perfect amount of traffic! Enough so nature doesn't reclaim it, but not enough to destroy it.
1:00 min into it & she did say that😅 Classic👍🏾😁
Unreal trail and great riding there! I'm not sure I've ever seen anyone in your videos riding clips. Does anyone use them or are flats the default because of the skinnies and jank?
Probably around half of us use flats and half of us use clips. Braden (the yellow sight I followed here) is usually on clips!
Yessss! When’s the next bit going up??
May have to go back and film an extra speedy version of the next bit. It's on the list for sure!
Wild! Also how do you turn your bike on those ultra steep and tight switch-backs?? does the back wheel just follow, or are u shifting weight, or hopping etc?
Sometimes it's a nose pivot, sometimes I grab the rear brake, and sometimes it's only thoughts and prayers.
@@DaleStone Thanks! XD
Wow so much dry fuel in that forest...and your rear spokes 😁
Just hope your rotor doesn't touch anything at each rest spot. 🙈
Wow that was a great trail. That lower section was looking steep. Go pro couldn't flatten that.
Yeah, when you see a camelbak strap hanging in the frame you know it's serious!
Keep it a secret, I am jealous
Everytime i see your yello bike i think its your hardtail until i google it and see its a new bike :D By the way. Could you do a bike check with specs and tires? Would be great. :)
Working on a bike check video in between riding bikes! Likely will finish it up once the season slows down a bit.
@@DaleStone sure, its more a winter project, now its bike riding time :) Sadly the summer goes down now, im getting fitter every week. Lost 10kg and 30km riding isnt a big problm anymore :) Whats happen to your dark blue Norco?
Congrats, 10kg is no joke! Keep at it.
My old grey/green Range was sold last year. Didn't use it for what it was fully capable so I moved over to a Sight. Fits my riding style better.
@@DaleStone Yea im really happy about it. I will keep up. Have bought my winter clothing already to keep riding in the winter.
Ah, ok. Thought you like riding the yellow one more this time :) We can see you like your bike very solidly :) I sold my Trek Fuel Ex 7 2 month ago and bought an Enduro. Its a Canyon Spectral in Baby blue :) I love it. New bikes are awesome. Sadly here are no trails so i have to deal with country roads.
It is taken my Go Pro?
Yep, Hero 8 Black!
What camera do you use and which mount?
Hero 8 black mounted to my chin bar.
Dale Stone thanks! Your videos are always so smooth!!
God damn dale, please show me this trail, I'm a local i live on st marys 😫
🙅♂️
@@DaleStone shucks
Snapped a hanger on a stick a 1/3rd that size.
Is this A-line?
The new lower A-Line extension!
Sunday is time for Church!
Dirt church is always in session here.
Sorry can't give 👍 if you can't share the name and location of trail....
All good Jimmy, hope you enjoy it anyways!
@@DaleStone rejected
look but don't touch.... I'll pass. pretty pompous presence on YT
Hope you enjoyed it either way!
Grow up bro. People swarm in and ruin s#@t! Think about it; everybody moves to a small town then what? Not small anymore. It's ruined. Or, hey you invited people over for dinner and there one person who's pissed cause you won't give them your family recipe. Like dude, that's the whole point. Just enjoy the food. Appreciate what you're watching. Go find your own little gem. Have good ride. Try not using the word "pompous". Have a cup of coffee. Wash your bike. Pet a dog. Give someone a hug!
