- Separating worm cocoons is easy, and it means you don't waste the cocoons when you use or sell your worm castings. At the same time, we can separate our worms from the castings too. With this method, you easily end up with three products separated. Worm castings, worm eggs (cocoons) and mature (adult) worms. Baby worms usually will end up with cocoons.
