Have you found a way to eradicate the mimosa?
What do you do if the goverment bans burning firewood?
If Portugal decides to ban the burning of firewood for heating, we might need to consider importing gas from Russia as an alternative. I understand that this decision could evoke mixed feelings, and it's important to think about its implications for everyone affected. Let's hope it doesn't come to that.
@keelapermaculturefarm that's why i ask this question. Currently the Netherlands are banning burning firewood, even warning with eviction and fines. We are almost self sufficient but this is a huge blow to me.
@keelapermaculturefarm it did not tag you, so here again.
stop voting for the commies then lol
Hey man id love to come work for you, i can produce manure and meat also
When can you start?
Sheep are precious animals. Goats too
They are great, we had a cute lamb born today ! we will add her to our flock
The cat adopts u . not the other war round
I've been adopted.
Mail them to me! 😂
😀
🔫🥓🥓🥓
How do they taste?
Very rich in flavour. Can't eat too much
Wonderful! And yeah, same here - we have also been self sufficient in some things: strawberries, kaki, lemongrass, basil and olives / olive oil. Beginning small 😅
That's great! Yes I forgot to mention so many things. I have strawberries for all winter in the freezer for my smoothies and they just put on loads of flowers. I wonder if I am getting g more strawberries! And frozen pesto ! What do you plan to add to your list?
Youll need ro compact it down so it done move as you drive ontop. Itll last longer and actually be more level.
Yes thanks. I compacted it with my tractor, drove up and down many times and then with my van as it has smoother tyres. Worked well until the wild bore dig up all the stones! See my latest video! Pain in the behind. I had to redo it all!
Ancient romans would laugh but agree
They did it properly !
@keelapermaculturefarm i agree! Im just saying roman roads are more intricate but the premise is correct. Every pothole filled this way will never be a pothole again!
Super useful!!!! Thnx
thank you
great rockwalls!!!
❤️
I let mine weep in the fridge first, then freeze, then dunk in water to create an ice shell. I wrap to put in the freezer. Nice birds.
How long do you keep in fridge for? I usually do 24 hours but don't have space for 20 birds so freeze and then defrost in fridge and is normally Nicole and tender.
You can let them weep after freezing. A lot people just don’t know to do this step.
I let mine rest and weep for 48 hours before freezing.
Biochar destroys microbes in soil, when any organic material is converted into carbon anyway, it's extremely nonsensical to distroy some element by fire. Think before doing anything.
Thank you for your comment :)
Do you end up burying all the organs? Or just some of it? I'm wondering because especially stomach, heart, and liver are so tasty and great for cooking. The trees seem to like it then?
Lovely :)
😀
Mmm i love when you get comfy with nature and can just have all this cool stuff
Hell yeah. This is the kind of content i want in my reels
Thanks. More coming!
You make our planet a better place, thank you,Keep going Laurance
Burning for fuel?
Mot at the moment. Soon I hope to habe that set up
I Learnt a lot❤🎉🎉
Thanks
If you're making biochar, I've found that a much more efficient way is to have a bin of water and putting a bit of the embers in it at a time then dumping them out with a shovel (I have a 'mud shovel' which has holes in, the ater can drain out and it's great!). If you're being careful with your wayer supply this is a MUCH more water efficient eay to do it. As an example, I used about 100L of water to make 400-500L of biochar.
❤this is fantastique !the world needs more of tree planter😊
Thank you :)
❤from india... Where i get this type of mesh...seperation is difficult 😢
Wow what a good idea❤🎉🎉
This is great.
👍
Where did you get that garden sprayer?
Great video! Love compost and compost tea!
No it's not
Making and using compost tea is a waste of time.
The act of burning releases carbon into the aymosphere does it not? So creating biochar is probably a carbon neutral process or may release more than it fixes... Am i wrong here?
Then what do we do with the eucalyptus trees we have to remove from the land for reforestation to native trees? If we compost them, then all the carbon is released to the atmospheres
Where is part 2 ?
Spectacular. Thank you so much, very informative
:)
Let the mustard grow and save the seed then mow and leave on the ground as a mulch and sow into it next year
Sound slide a good idea. Our issue is we have to also feed the sheep
I do not understand why a person just does t answer the questio and show the process. Why keep the camera on a person face. I care not to look at someone's mug. Plus you were cutting g
most people love this video exactly as it is - he explained everything so well. if you don't, simply fuck off carol
You are behaving like bozo
Who knew
have you tried turning it into sliage?
This is for red wiggler worms?
What size is the openings for the lambs
Use them for tea and also natural incense
Yes!!!
varry good bro. you are on right way.
Fantastic. Thank you
Do you ever just put the worms in a raise bed planter with the plants in it too?
No as they are not the right type of worms for planters. Better to add worm castings from your worn farm to the planters
❤
Is it easy to remove the tree stump? It seems there is no clear answer to the question of whether eucalyptus trees drain the underground water tables. I've read some articles, and some say they are water guzzlers, while others are saying this is a myth. Some say that nothing grows near it, while other articles say it's good for other agricultural crops. What is the real truth?
Where we live, nothing grows under it.
Climate change is a WEF narrative... and the Eucalyptus tree is yet another targeted species with healing and antiseptic properties that they want destroyed. They are not a bomb waiting to go off! Portugal wildfires are no different than Canada's or the USA's... They don't have Eucalyptus and yet have MORE fires! The magic of Eucalyptus is that after a fire it rebounds quickly and speed heals for new growth! The roots are holding the sandy slopes together. They keep soil erosion from escalating... Please STOP participating and repeating the new world order agenda's narrative and see what this war on eucalyptus (and pine trees) is truly all about... Btw, pine needle tea is a natural immunity booster and natural antidote to the flu / covid - amazing how all of a sudden it too is the enemy (of big pharma, the media, and the WEF) and we are encouraged to cut the branches on pine trees so high that no one can reach them any longer here in Portugal. They want us to NOT be able to create a free remedies from nature - remedies that big pharma and the media profit from massively. Please STOP killing these ancient, healing trees!
They explode near my house every year and the flames go up about 100 meters. In the places we have removed them we now have a thriving eco system. Before that there was nothing under the eucalyptus.
Some A-Hole thought it was a good idea to bring these to the U.S .. I remove these weeds on a daily basis and i'm sick of it.. especially near power lines where we have shut down power .. it really pisses people off. We have to clean out everything down below the top soil because the fricken acorns also need to be removed ! It's and endless battle !!!
Tell me about it. We have a worse invasive one here called mimosa as well. Just trying to get the most use out of removing them all. Fire wood, wattle and daub and charcoal.
