Diamond P's host is the most laid-back broadcaster I've ever seen. That's so cool.
Great Race ! I miss Riverside .
Terry was always my driver back in the day. Glad to catch a race that he wins .
Thank you for the upload.
steve evans and nascar what a combo
Gosh, the “American Sports Cavalcade” on TNN. Those were the days.....
Diamond P Sports, NASCAR, Steve Evans and Brock Yates - a panorama of speed, colour, drama and excitement!
Brilliant! thanks for posting. i need to find a copy of that album now.
thanks much for posting this video :)
Excellent race! Thanks!
No, but I have the '87 Miller High Life 500 from there, aka Tim Richmond's next-to-last ever win. I'll post that sometime in the next two weeks. Thanks for watching!

great cars
I was there...
Lets get back to racers with personality
Like um or not. Thats what made racing so attracitive
Guess im a dying breed. Racing in 2010 to current is some kinda circus changing rules to keep your attention. Its an plastic banana today. And sad
would you have old pocono races from 84 85 or 86 ?
LOL that record album Ed Bruce and Ned Jarrett is talking about i have . Its HORRIBLE.... lol ....... but a neat collectible . They are a lot better race car drivers than singers .
they said there was a fatality a few years back and that's why they have the drivers net. that's all they did? no track safety?
I assume they are referring to the Joe Weatherly crash of 1964. The mandated window net didn't come in until 1970 after Richard Petty's huge Darlington crash. Weatherly's crash was actually at turn 6 not turn 9 anyway. Rolf Stommelen did fatally crash in turn 9 a couple of years before this in a GT car though. Ken Miles fatally, AJ Foyt and Dick Simon all had huge crashes on the back stretch it was renown as a dangerous track
Real racers, Real raw. Real announcers. Real Rebels. Real Real Real. Racing obsolete.😠😉
This is painful to watch. So much video freeze.
