Mrshevyshevy drives Grandpas 57 for the first time with new engine. Some other crazy stuff is involved also Please visit mrhevyshevy.com for some cool apparel.
Glad to see MrsHevyshevy smiling about the '57. It sounds nice. A productive day all-in-all. Sounds like the weather is getting warmer for y'all. Look forward to more. Be safe and stay well.
Man I wish I had your patience! Taking that fan in and out again would make me blow my top!🤬😤 Thanks for showing us how to roll with the punches and your awesome sense of humor.
So good to see the '57 out on the road. I'm the same age as that car. "It feels weird being the same age as old people" Looking forward to more from the Acres. All the best to you and the Mrs.
Another great video, thanks. On the subject of electric fans, Spal is a good brand. I have used several in the past. Two things to remember about electric fans: 1. They all lie about cfm. The only thing that really counts is amp draw, more amps more air moving. 2. Straight blade fans will move more air but make a lot more noise. This knowledge comes from buying the wrong fans in the past.
Dear Mr. Hevyshevy. Looks like Murphy's law kicked in several times!? Cool though that you didn't let Murphy win! Therefore:👍👌👏 Best regards, luck and especially health to all of you.
@@MrHevyshevy Thanks for replying. I totally appreciate that. 2) Unfortunately I know Murphy's law well too, sigh. And so does Waylon Wire (obviously). Sincerely yours.
I have had a fan where I was able to turn around te propeller. And polarity. So it went from a pusher to a puller and with still have the end of the propellors pointing to the correct side
You'll get it done, it's just a case of "trial and error". The plus side of the equation is that you almost have a fan for each of the other project vehicles (just be sure to identify the fans as pusher or puller before you put them away).
Mama likes that, the smile said it all.

Great video. Admire your work. Put cal tracks on my nova and really helped hook it up. Did give some ride.
You should be able to flip the blades over on that fan an make it a puller.

🎉modify it enought time MR HS and soon any fan will.fit! LOL
Those Fans are annoying to deal with sometimes
Sounds good..
Oh, someone in the comments been watching "Junkyard Digs, I think!
She wore her boots because they are made for walkin' and if the 55 Chevy doesn't make it back she will be Walkin' All Over You.
Can't you swap wires on fan
Didn't Steppenwolf write a song about the pusher fan? 🤔... Something like that anyways... 🤭
👍
Haha.
DD's Speed shop swears by Delta fans. Maybe if you get ahold of him he can tell ya what's up with that.
Mr HC has three fans that he swears AT, so there's that 😆😆
@@jack002tuber, Lol!
A pusher fan on a car needs to be mounted in front of the radiator to flow.
Yes put the fan on the other side👍🏼
Would a mechanical fan fit into your 57?
Would the fan motor run in reverse if the wiring polarity was switched? Just asking.
Fan I have was designed that way. Not sure about the curved blades.
Doubling the value of that "shipping crate",er...dodge.
