" I am just going to go for it with Nh5 and well see what happens" what he really means is "I have calculated 5 lines to my victory already lets see which one the opponent choses."

well the guy was playing too much by the book for his rating and he was too slow building an attack that he allowed magnus to gain space king side.

@M. Mhb But it's obvious he busts open the king from there and the opposotion is quite defenseless due to the position of their pieces

@M. Mhb yes you can. You can when you look at black. He cannot really transfer pieces to the kingside at a result of the closed position.

I subjected the game to an engine analysis: the engine's verdict: "smooth - one player dominated the entire game". The engine claimed 2 inaccuracies by Magnus - but both are debatable. One is 16.ab (I suppose because it gives black Ba6 as an additional resource), though on further inspection the supposedly equalising lines are failing to do so, white keeps a small edge. Still, 16.Nf4 was probably more precise. The other was 20.Ne2, as 20.g6 was winning, but then 20Ne2 was also winning.

I get this same position often as white by playing the closed sicilian, so useful for me to see how to play it better.

I think I saw a window of opportunity for Cicero. Considering the predicament that was forming, I think he had an opportunity to trade some pieces and simplify the game.
At 4:57, when Magnus did the kinght sacrifice to open up the king side, I was expecting Cicero to move his knight to C4. His knight was well placed there to cause Magnus a potential headache but I think the sacrifice of the knight disturbed and intimidated Cicero a bit. You could see the pause before his next move.

Even after rook F1, checkmate isn't as easy as it looks. Of course, white would always win on time, but I would still find a way to blunder the checkmate.

I wonder if a low rated player would surprise high level players because they aren't following theoretic chess. If I play AI at 1500, then I can win because of the programmed blunders. Once it becomes 1700, it's almost perfect. I wouldn't know what the difference is between AI at 1700 compared to AI at 3000.

Leaving comment.. Hope Magnus replies.. Lol. I think black should have taken ASAP on d4 vacating c5 and e5 for Knight and then play B--b7. Magnus cleverly closed center with e5. Black needs to strike out with f5 to weaken e4... Magnus clamps down on it with g4... Intending to play on King side which he does do rolling his pawns down... Note Magzy also plays f4 taking away e5 square for Knight... I think black missed f5 here.. Once Magzy played f5 himself it is positional lost... Black needed to see N-f4 move also in addition to pawn push on f5 Hmm.. Maybe N--e2 is interesting.. Wonder why not N--f3... One reason may be to push f4 pawn and start king side attack!.... Maybe e5 was better then than c5.. Note rook on b8 not c8.. If f4 then he can exchange it but I think e5 needs to be played before d5 or else Magzy exchanges en pass ant and Black has weakness on g6

nah I disagree. Black should instead fight in the center so white doesnt get his dream attacking position on the kingside. As such black doing nothing about white allowed white to freely operate on the kingside. Hence he should have attacked right after white played f4 or g4. Also he shouldnt have manuevered everything towards the queenside. There is no given reason to. As such all he did was allow white an even more powerful attack because the center is closed.
