The commentary of this video was rich and informative. Loved every moment of it. Keep up the great work, and congrats to Magnus!
Is even more embarrassing when he trash talk to hikaru and still lose
You make amazing video's man keep up the work
You do realize that this voice is AI right?
It said "dimay" instead of "dismay". Isnt that a bit weird? A human would never say that mistake. He just wrote a script with a typing error and kept it in.
@milanek1527 I dont think so but there is a possibility it is. But I still really like these videos no matter if its ai or not
The Lance Stephenson comment by Magnus... Brilliant! HAHAHAHA only an NBA fan + chess fan can appreciate the humor Magnus has.
I don’t understand why people don’t see that Hans is clearly not mentally well. He simply doesn’t speak like someone psychologically healthy
Yeah I'd say narcissism and some other issues. He reminds me of a very high IQ friend I had who who acted similarly.
He's too young and doesn't know how to deal with the spotlights the chess community put him in.
@@Faroshkasthat's no excuse. A 21 year old is an adult. Magnus acted more professionally when he was 13. Hans is a sociopath who gets no remorse from me
@@myweirdsecondchannelwithap9070 Ok, I guess it's true. He is just a bad person then. Still, calling him a sociopath is a bit much haha
@@Faroshkas Well why ? He's clearly living in a delusion where he thinks he's world number 1 after winning a game he cheated in. Maybe you share this delusion with him 😂😉?
From someone who rarely plays chess this was a really good and entertaining video
9:43 wasn't prepared for that 😂
the chat during the final when Hans came into commentary said a lot ....
Greatness. Magnus Carlsen is one of a kind
Nobody likes arrogance. If Hans wants people on his side, he has got to change his attitude, although I think damage control left the building a long time a go. Well done Magna Man.
The full story.
Blitz game: Magnus lost to Neimann which gave birth to the meme "Chess speaks for itself" by Niemann.
Classical game: Magnus lost again to Neimann and Magnus can't handle it he accuses Hans of cheating without evidence.
Niemanns career in chess is ruined, no one wants to invite him in tournaments.
Thats why he acts this way to gain attention so people can still invite him in tournaments.
Magnus did this guy the “i take people to deep waters and they discover them selves” treatment😂😂
I didn't figure this out, saw another comment and confirmed, but Magnus' first game open matched 1997 Kasparov deep blue rematch. First 9 moves put him in the exact spot. Just a cool wrinkle
The ragebait works. Can't get enough of Nieman getting crushed preferrably by adversaries matching or surpassing his arrogance. Nieman is excellent at this theatrics, he doesn't get enough credit for the satisfaction he provides when he gets stomped.
Now since bead king hans lost to magnus, he should not show his face to anyone. How embarrassing it is to lose.
and i assume you have beaten a world champion before
@@genox633 I think I have your correct tone now.
You said you are a 1300 something rated player and you are stuck there.
What happened? You are too young to commit on chess or too old to continue?
@@maggie_4321 obviously more knowledgeable then you considering your bitter tone.
How embarrassing to lose against the greatest chess player of all time and only place 4th in the entire world. He should definitely never show his face again lol
@@genox633so you don't like my tone and guessed I am less knowledgeable?
But if I don't like hans arrogance and his previous record of cheating then I am the bad guy.
What a lame joke from a 1300 rated player.
English is not even my secondary language but still I can debate with you. I know 7 other languages. In your logic if I can challenge you on them and if you fail then I can call you "Stupid".
Dislike for misinformation: Magnus is not 'arguably' the greatest, he IS the greatest.
0:15
Well it depends on how we judge who's greatest. In terms of dominance maybe we'd have to say morphy
@@grottphd9090Im dominance, peak strength, longitivity in all terms it is magnus
@@nikhildawani2913 He's a very dominant world champion but chess is one of the oldest games in the world. In terms of absolute dominance in their respective eras, he's not really in the running. If you disagree just read up on some previous greats. Compared to the masters of his era, Morphy may as well have been a god. Some of the stories about him read like bizarre out of world fantasy yet his games are well documented.
@@grottphd9090 bro I follow all morphy games very deeply and I have also read many articles on morphy and he was indeed way ahead of his time but I think Magnus has dominated in the hardest era of chess where all have got Ai tools,as nowadays we see some 8yo beating Gms so competition has increased way more than morphys era,and I think that is a Huge W that magnus has dominated in such an era
@@nikhildawani2913 Of course this is a more competitive era of chess lol but we're talking about dominance. Every era has better training tools than the last, if this is how we define the greatest ever then a new goat will come with practically every generation.
6:55 soundtrack name please 🙏
Great way to tell the story, good mellow rythm while building up tension by very accurate highlightings 😅
High quality editing and narrative. Great work, subbed!
What a great recap video. Subscribed!
11:03 Lol Hans, baby, i think I know a few people who "appreciate what was done to you" quite a bit; honestly I'm pretty sure they "appreciated" the hell out of it🥂
"It was the lag"
- Hans Niemann, 2024
Hikaru with Qc7 sitting back in the wind hands behind head - legend
Amazing work!
Shoutout to Magnus parents who raised not only the best chest player in history but also a great character
8:34 last 3 of 5 in a row face of hans says all :O
I think it's fair to say that "the chess spoke volumes" on this occasion lmfao
First he got humbled by Magnus, then by Hikaru 😎
I fully believe he complained about his ‘technical difficulties’ while he was winning so it wouldn’t look sus that he was going to use that as an excuse for why he lost.
thanks for context and details you provided : it helps me to understand more deeply the story of the match 🙏
Hans Niemann is totally out of contact with reality.
“Yes I was experiencing the issue of blundering” lmfao
It was so so so satisfying. He has been humbled and a little quieter
Please make videos like this more often, I would argue even daily there are many chess news that fly over our heads. I need to watch something while I work. Even if you don’t think this kind of series could work, I’m sure it will, people want more of chess and there are not options like this.
And then REALLY humbled Alireza. I honestly believe Magnus stopped trying in the final round intentionally. He already had a commanding lead and proved his point. He just couldn't wait to get out of that room.
Well done video 👍🏻
This man went from "I might start my own world championship" to teary eyed explanations really fast. Impressive that he lost and says let the chess speak for itself, true mind of a champion.
"I was experiencing the issue of... uh... blundering" is absolutely wild
Lance Stephenson is a notable troll in the NBA. His biggest moment comes from blowing in the ear of LeBron James during a playoff game. Not that it effected Lebron, but simply ammused him. The fact Magnus Carlsen knows Lance Stephenson and made that reference is downright hilarious.
Magnus played like garbage and still destroyed Hans lmao
When cheater acting victim.
Its been 4 yrs and Magnus still has no proof of him cheating when he lost to Neimann
@@Robinnnnnnlol ppl calling him cheat are bandwagoning
Hans was found innocent, I'm a Magnus fan but he had no evidence (just past occasions of Hans cheating, but no prove for their match) and he pretty much just straight up ruined Hans chess career. I like Magnus and I think Hans is a bit annoying but Magnus should be hold accountable for falsely accusing Hans for cheating.
@@LobitM Magnus never accused Hans of cheating. This cheating accusation is based on statistics and experts analyzing his games.
@@hattaamran7348he literally accused him lmao
This is the chess equivalent of a little brother who brags about being the best at super smash and then big brother comes along to knock him down a few pegs.
Magnus knew he won before those few losses at the end, he definitely just wanted to get the games over with so he could leave 😂 this was an incredible watch lol
Great summary of everything that went down! It was certainly an exciting event
Tell me man from were the music
Magnus vs Niemann can be summed in this quick dialog from TFOC
Starscream (Niemann): WHO DARES DISRUPT MY CORONATION?"
Megatron (Magnus): Coronation, Starscream? This is BAD COMEDY!
Blunders speak for themselves -Hans Blitz Chess Games
i wish they would put little pictures of the player on the chess pieces. it would make it a lot easier to tell who is winning.
This channel is really something else, big rispect
Respect is earned, not demanded or expected. Be humble.
whats the music at the end of the video?
By now, Hans is a journey man in the chess world, never to make it to top 5. This was basically his last hourra because at this point, everyone has seen what he is made of.
Now it's time to give space to actual young very strong players (Vincent Keymer, Prag, Alireza, Erigaisi).
Saying that after he just achieved 4th best speed chess player in the world is wilddd
Hans earned that space by beating MVL and Wesley So. The other juniors (except Ali) can also earn their 'space' by winning
The whole hans discussion is just weird. Seems like some people think he should retire at 21 for some weird reason and some people think he will be the next world champion. Both are just weird statements to make. He is very good just not at the very top right now.
He isnt going to retire nor was this his last hurrah but he isnt anywhere close to being a world champion either.
@@Wulture Absolutely. Hans is ambitious and phenomenally talented (as Magnus recognizes) and will no doubt grow stronger, but just how much remains to be seen.
I think it's a little crazy to say he won't accomplish anymore, seeing as 4th in the SCC is an amazing accomplishment, and he's 2740 classical, but his chances of becoming world champion seem far off, and his ego is a little strange. But then again, this is almost exactly what hikaru was like at this age
Hans using the lag card in the friggin online chess tournament like it is Counter Strike game. lol.
Magnus is chess royalty. Niemann is a court jester.
Bro literally studied Magnus non-stop for a year and still didn’t know he was going to lose.
hans throwing that first game was the equivalent of becoming me
Hans just reminds me of Michael's son Jimmy from GTA 5
Hans Niemann shouldn't be playing chess, FIDE fail when it comes to his matter...
If you come at the king, you best not miss.
How does he come up with these retorts. "My lag was my own blunder"
What game is this from?
Hans “Shooter McGavin” Niemann
I guess the chess spoke for itself...
Hans gives off a more hatable persona humility is the key to humanity
What people don't accept is the fact that he does have a chance to win against Magnus back then. And the cheating allegations could have died off. The hate just comes from his shitty ego and personality. After that one loss, given it was 10 games. Magnus could have won like 8/10 of that.
"Hope you appreciate what has been done to me "
?
hans” damn i can’t cheat in paris olympics well its over.
Hey, I was a douche in my early 20s too
You don’t need to prove yourself, Hans. Chess speaks for itself.
I truly believe Hans is a great chess talent. He easily has the talent to be top 5 when he gets to his prime and guys like Magnus, Hikaru, Fabi, and Ian are about done with chess. But He'll never get anywhere until he acts more mature. It was the same thing with Alireza a few years ago.
I’m a relative noob to the chess world, only really watching ChessTube (cramling, Botez, Magnus, Gotham) for about 2 or 3 months. I had never heard of Hans Niemann until today 😂😂😂
His beads were experiencing technical issues.
he was complaining bc the lag was messing with his beads T.T
You could tell magnus was just having fun those last few games knowing Hans could not win.
so is no one gonna talk about how Levy is straight up a ghost
Very good video!!
I find that most of the time people who talk way too much statistically end up either getting dragged through the dirt or have only a small stint of success before being put back down. Hans is a perfect example of that, another being Connor McGregor. Both talked far too much, had very quick success, but inevitably were put down.
Edit: I also want to add with his last statement of "wanting the chess to speak for itself", it did, he got beaten entirely. It seems like even though he's learned a "lesson" the toxicity is deep within him.
