- This tutorial is created as a companion to the UCLA SMASH presentation I'll be doing on July 9th. Here we will do an overview of getting Unreal Engine and Quixel Bridge installed along with real images from NASA to create the Mars surface in which we can use for any virtual production from there.

awesome!! I've been looking for this for a long time. thank you !! but how the character can interact with the environment? like in games when you see a rock you can jump over it, walk on it, or even carry it? so how to solve this?

Honestly I don't make games I do motion graphics and cinematics so I'm not sure about game mechanic stuff but to walk on them you'd just add collision to them.
Lod 0 is the best quality. I think your explanation was a bit off on that.

How can we make a timelapse from day to night with an HDRI in Unreal Engine? Any ideas?
Im not sure its possible to animate hdri files you'd have to use a real sky instead
Do you need RTX to follow this tutorial or any other good quality graphics card will do as well?
As long as you can run Unreal you should be fine I'm not doing anything to heavy here.
I noticed that when I updated to 4.25.1, UE4 crashes whenever I have the windows file open/save dialog box come up. Anyone else have that issue?

I turned hdribackdrop on, but still can't find it when I restart ue
You have to restart unreal. Once you turn it on look in the lower right for the restart button
