    In this video, Dr.B shares her deeply personal journey of loss and healing. Dr.B speaks candidly about the devastating loss of three of her children and how she learned to cope with her grief in a way that allowed her to move forward.
    One of the key insights Dr.B offers is the difference between fixing and healing grief. While fixing involves trying to make the pain go away entirely, healing is a more nuanced process that involves finding ways to process the pain and cherish the relationship with the lost loved one.
    Drawing on her own experience, Dr.B describes her "mentally strong method" for processing grief. This method involves acknowledging and accepting the pain, practicing self-care, finding healthy ways to express emotions, and focusing on positive memories of the lost loved one. Dr.B emphasizes the importance of seeking professional help and practicing healing for a lifetime, as healing is an ongoing process.
    What sets this video apart is the way it captures the complexity and nuance of the human experience of grief. Dr.B's message is one of hope and resilience in the face of unimaginable loss, and she offers practical insights and tools to help viewers navigate their own grief journeys.

    I am so sorry for your loss. I just lost my 52 yr old daughter who was my best friend. I now belong to a "club" that I wish I never had to join but our children have their own destiny and "so many breaths" as do we and accepting that is a big part of my grief work. Its a day at a time! Blessings to U and all grieving their beloved children! XJudy

      I'm truly sorry for your loss, Judy. Losing a child who was also your best friend is an unimaginable pain, and my heart goes out to you. Taking it one day at a time is a wise approach, as grief can be an unpredictable journey. 💔🙏❤️

      I'm deeply sorry for the tremendous loss you've experienced, losing both your son and significant other within such a short period. If you're in crisis and don't feel safe, please reach out to a helpline or emergency services in your area right away. They are trained to provide immediate assistance and support. Please consider reaching out to a mental health professional, such as a therapist or counselor, who specializes in grief and bereavement. They can provide you with the necessary support and guidance as you navigate through this difficult time.

    I like your videos but why do you call yourself Dr B even though you’re a nurse?

    • @CristiBundukamara
      @CristiBundukamara  4 місяці тому

      Hello Cheri! Thanks for asking, I am very proud to be a nurse! It was my time in academia and being a professor, all my students lovingly called me Dr. B because my last name is difficult to say, and it stuck.
