I love my 6.2 8 speed did Borla Atak X with resonator delete and X pipe. K&N Cold air with 92 mm throttle body and fully mapped bully dog with custom high octane tune makes 431 rwhp and 482rwtq Cold air was an issue but E85 kit next with tune.
FYI - Magnaflow 12909 / 14909. Cut out stock muffler and flapper and weld Magnaflow in its place. Magnaflow is a straight through design so you can flip muffler around to match stock offset.
I have the same truck. it is a 6.2 with 420 horse and 460 ft/lbs of torque. 8 speed trans with a 3.23:1 rear end. Max trailer package with the large tow mirrors get a 3.42:1 rear end!
@@claytonlovell2256 440 hp no! Its 420 hp from factory but not to wheels you did cai and exhaust the gains they claim are not the real gains. But is this exhaust setup without the resonator on back?
Hi, I have pretty much the same truck 2017 GMC sierra 6.2 Denali trim. I would like to get the 2.5 leveling kit and my question is did your miles per gallon changed a lot?
Any drone? I have the 18" on my 5.7 Hemi Ram 1500, I get a little drone around 85-95 Kms/hr, but nothing after that. I'm thinking of buying a 6.2 GMC sierra and this will be the first thing I do to it. Nice truck!
Alex I know it’s a year later, but do you remember if it was a kit or did you buy everything separate for the suspension? I’m assuming 2” blocks in the rear? Gorgeous truck BTW!!
@@claytonlovell2256 is your 2018 still a Magnaflow? I just ordered the MF series single 4" with a 5" tip. It has a muffler and a resonator... worried it will be too quiet....
This was my friend Clayton’s truck, unfortunately he doesn’t remember the part number but I do know it’s a 2.5” lift in the front and 2” in the rear on 285/55R22 Nitto Terra Grappler G2s
I have a 2017 Sierra 1500 SLT Z71 package with the 6.2 , I have it with a 2 inch raised and a front end leveling kit running 20 inch Goodyear all terrain wranglers (I have burned through BFG Ko2's, Nitto Trail ridge grapplers) the difference between the Denali is the small Expensive sunroof . I don't have one , don't need one. Denali paints the front and rear bumpers (mine are chrome) .

KFeirg Linn that is extremely impressive. Was that dyno spot on? And I heard no one is able to tune the 8 speed trans yet is that true
That’s awesome! what’s the MPG like after all that?
FYI - Magnaflow 12909 / 14909. Cut out stock muffler and flapper and weld Magnaflow in its place. Magnaflow is a straight through design so you can flip muffler around to match stock offset.
Did this, love it!
Was the resonator removed?
Finally, someone that knows how to do a proper exhaust video. Great video bo!
Thanks man I appreciate the kind words!
My dream truck😍😍
This baby is going to be mine, 2060.😂😂😂
LEGEND 27 I sold it to the local Volkswagen service dept manager
Mannn. I love that truck. It has like the perfect look.
Thanks man, I got it in April. Join our page on FB: facebook.com/groups/southernoffroad/?ref=bookmarks
Speed limit 25. LMFAO.
To say the least I’m in love
Sounds great. The Yeti sticker is questionable however.
Clayton Lovell no disrespect Bro i love the truck just not big on stickers.
That thing just spins the tires so easily what else is done to it besides exhaust and what's the gear ratio

It was mine before I traded it for a C7. It had Volant cold air and exhaust. Pushing 440 HP at that point

Hi, I have pretty much the same truck 2017 GMC sierra 6.2 Denali trim. I would like to get the 2.5 leveling kit and my question is did your miles per gallon changed a lot?
Enrique Mora sold it back in April and got a Vette but to answer your question, didn’t experience any loss in MPG
I want to drive it! +First! +How about a review? +Congratulations on 1k subscribers. Keep up the great work.

Nice truck!
Arkas sold it a month ago but no, it didn’t have drown. Went to a 17 Stingray

It's just a muffler and tip. Unfortunately I can't remember the part number. It's an 18 inch with 5/8 oval
Clayton Lovell did you have the flapper valve and resonator still in place? I have a 5.3 but thinking this muffler is what I want.
Beautiful truck!
No offense but I thought I was watching the 'before' part of the video. Doesn't sound that much difference imho.
Do you know the muffler part number? I really like how it sounds
How lifted your Sierra is and what size of tires men? Great set up looking for different choices for mine with my 22s also
This was 2.5” up front, 2 in the rear, 285/55r22 (34.5 x 12)
How’s the cabin noise? Long trips on highways annoying? I had flowmasters and hated it
Does it have a lift kit or a leveling kit ?
Colt Huddleson 2.5 up front, 2 in the rear, 285/55r22 (34.5 x 12)
Just a block in the rear? And BTW, gorgeous truck. Looks perfect.
Clayton Lovell what brand did you go with? Did you replace your UCAs? Did you change out the shocks? Thanks!
It was just a leveling kit and blocks in the rear
Hey sounds awsome! Was it a full cat back or just the muffler? Do you have the part number? Thanks!
Are those 22s or 20s?
leveling kit?
This still have the flapper and resonator?
Clean!
Sounds great. Do you have the resonator and is the drone bad in V4mode?
Bad, it sounds like it skips heart beats
Nice rig! Did you get those rims stock or after buying? Denali 22s?
aurora85 sold my factory 20s and put these on
Clayton Lovell Did your tires rub with that setup? Also, is that a 2.5 or 3” level kit? thanks!
Tearing up the town lol
What kind of suspension are you running?
Clayton do you know the model on the exhaust and any extra details about the exhaust? Love the quiet deep tone to it and I have the exact same truck.
Sean Castille honestly I can’t remember. I went a different route on my 18 and it sounds a lot better

8 speed? if so any issues with shifting, and is your afm disabled if not how does it sound in v4 mode.
capt Morgan it does have the 8 speed, very clunky in low gears but perfect on the hwy
Any problems with the 8speed transmission
I haven't had any with mine, i had a torque converter shudder but a flush fixed that and a 1-2 thunk that was fixed with the flush as well.
Clayton lol
How is your gas mileage if your driving normal with the 6.2?
David Whittington 21 hwy 15 town
That has to be the best sounding truck i've found. Its not to loud, just low and mean. Do you remember what your exact setup was?
I are don’t David. I know it’s a 18 inch muffler with a 5/8s inch oval

All good. Thank you for the reply!
What size/brand tires are you running?
285/55r22 (34.5 x 12) Nitto Terra Grappler G2s
Alex Gray looks great! Any rubbing issues? Which level/lift kit did you go with? Thanks again!
Hey Alex,
When you have a min. Pls let us/me know what lift/level set up you're running to fit those wheels. Thanks!
It’s a 2.5” up front and 2” in the rear. This isn’t my truck, it’s my friend’s. I only did the video, but I know most of its details.
It’s different now, 3.5 up front and 2 in the rear. Join southern off road on fb, I’ll show you pics
Doesn't sound much different than stock.
???
Exhaust sounds weak I’m sorry!! Nice truck, exhaust no good
What package is this with the 6.2 without being the Denali ??
Jarrett Morris sold it back in April but it was an SLT premium plus with the optional 6.2 and upgraded Denali two piece wheels
