He was banking on that 5/1 basically having charge. If palawin didnt pull 1 damage, which in arena is not common, esp after he used aoe. It was a calculated risk that had its payoff since palawin couldnt deal with it.
It's funny how much better Trump is at this game than me but at the same time can still make such huge misplays like at the end of this. Makes me feel less terrible.

Why pick Cult Master over Ironfur Grizzly? I thought Grizzly was the OBVIOUS pick for this draft, for a few reasons. You already have Nourish and a good curve, so you won't need the draw Cult Master gives. Your curve could have improved quite a lot by picking up that 3 drop Grizzly. Also, it's a beast, and a taunt, and a 3/3 on 3 which is fine. It's yet another beast, which would have been good for your deck, and it goes well into Wildwaker for the buff. I simply don't understand the reasoning for Cult Master over Grizzly there, seems like a pretty objective mistake to me. Feel free to enlighten me.

god, recycle is such a garbage card. it's worse than assasinate, but costs 1 more, the equivalent card is priest's entomb, which does the same thing for the same cost, but moves it to your deck instead of your opponent's, which is a GIANT difference. That card should have probably been modified or removed from arena at some point
druid got that card when he had by far the best set of minions in game, gave him a good removal was pointless cuz he didnt need. get the minion or not is not huge diference in this case, because you need tempo in arena, and a removal for 6 mana is shit, both are mediocre picks in arena thats all.
I think Blizzard was thinking about a situation where you recicle your oponent's card (that was really good in the mid game for example) and they don't want to be drawing the same card later (like topdecking a yeti on turn 13 isn't that powerful), kinda like excavated evil works against fast decks. Turns out the card is terrible, but I can see blizz's reasoning behind it

Not every piece of removal is meant for every situation, if most classes were running N'zoth decks with more than a few good deathrattles then recycle would be in a lot of the control decks for sure.
