Hey Nathan, good to hear you're getting stuck into a few. That little StreakZ certainly does the job on a few species and cool your local bream like it. Fish on!

With the currents so fast in the ocean...do u cast these? And do you use any sinkers? I feel like a 1 oz would not move past 2 feet under the water. Thanks

So far I've tried to catch fish with soft plastics like 20 times and I've got one fish and it was a trumpeter

Also I was trolling with metal slicers for a few hours got a few bites but none on then switch to trolling mullies got on straight away, I do get fish on lures but seemingly much less often.

Also the hooks on the lures were the right size for the target species (20-40)cm tailot

Hey Peter, it takes a bit of working out what the fish want on the day, however a few things that have worked for me with plastics over the years as I have refined my techniques are - varying the retrieve, varying the colour, size or model of the plastic, slowing down and adding scent to the plastic. There are loads of videos and articles on soft plastics that might help. I always find it's a good idea to focus on a species and try and nut it out too. All the best with the fishing. Cheers, Justin
