🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 It's 2023 and he's still in Shaq's toilet....
I Literally JUST watched that reaction video 2 seconds ago. 😂😂😂
It’s crazy because Lloyd Banks is one of the most underrated rappers in the game. I felt as though no one gave him the respect he deserved.
I agree.
Officer down was an insane diss probably the most underrated disses of all time! Lloyd was 🔥
you did, King
I‘d love to see more beef breakdowns maybe doing them live. As a German/people outside the US would probably love to know the background stories about it. I may know some of the songs, but not the story.
This also goes for older artists, it would be awesome if you could pick an artist and a couple of their hits and give some backstory about them.
Thanks :)
He's done a lot of these already, I believe he did Jay z versus Nas, Eminem versus benzino, and a few others. You can find the videos on his channel if you haven't watched them
@@HomeCookinMTG I knew about those, I thought those are the only ones he did. I still think more of those would be awesome though.
Thanks
Lloyd banks is such a underrated MC. Definitely the best lyricist in G-Unit.
Definitely PLK
He’s never got the shine he deserved. When reactors react to him, it’s always as a feature, it pisses me off. I wish they’d react to tracks from CC2 or FNO or HH2 or even from his newest album COTI... Banks is a rap warlord.
I support Banks all day one of my favorite rappers
@@JCM311 damn! It's like no one knows about them mixtapes it pisses me off how criminally underrated Banks is
The God of breakdowns is back at it again!
he's good! but its the Third Ernest for me
@@fidencioflores2680 Knox has a bit more knowledge imo but if I want a full breakdown I go to Knox and Third Ernest. I noticed Ernest has done less of breaking songs down lately and just pointing out a few things here and there. Ernest has became more of a reaction channel then a breakdown channel
Thank you Knox for reigniting my appreciation for rap. The word play and great writing you point out gave me a new perspective on a genre I got away from because of the way mainstream went. Much love man
Ah man this song is so good man, I really miss this era of hip hop, probably one of my favorites. I’d love to also see you react to and breakdown this song by Obie Trice - We All Die One Day featuring Lloyd Banks, Eminem and 50 Cent, that song is crazy and Eminem absolutely killed it.
Agreed. I've always thought Bump Heads and We All Die One Day were two songs cut from the same cloth. And We All Die One Day is in my all time top 5 Em songs, up there with Love you More, I Remember and 8 Mile for the quality of his flow and rhyming patterns.
the 90s and early 2000s rap will always be the goat
I've always loved Em's verse on this song so much, and I guess it seems pretty simplistic for him, but it reminds of what he said on Business "Ya'll even impressed no more, you're used to it." And 50 did have a lot of great hooks, but to be honest Banks wrote most of them, even In Da Club. That's one reason 50 turned on everybody in G-Unit at some point except him.
Do you have any proof that bank wrote 50's hooks? This is the first time I am hearing of it.
@@seanh1988I doubt it. 50s know for his lyrics. Not banks.
Banks did not write anything for 50 Cent.. if anything 50 Cent wrote a lot of Bankss hooks... 50 has always been known as a song writer first, even before they met Llyod Banks.. 50 Cent wrote a song for J Lo, wrote his whole Power Of A Dollar album, and wrote a few songs for Diddy and Bad Boy before Banks even came along.. Banks is an amazing lyricist, very bar heavy but he could never hold a candle to 50 Cent in the song writing category.. The Game made that Llyod Banks wrote In Da Club shit up.. dont believe a word that comes out that losers mouth cuz his mind changes on everything a week later
Are we gonna ignore Yayo’s first line? “You couldn’t son me if my father helped you.”
Been waiting all week for Mathers Day! Great breakdown as always Knox!
God I was hyped for you to react to this and see you explaining the goats and also you straggling on keeping up to explain as much as you can
I have been waiting for this one for a long long time. Amazing. As always.
“We all die one day” another great diss
It's so crazy how much this generation is so into hip hop and geek out like this I love it
Have always loved this. Great to see you cover it #Knoxhill. Keep up the good work with the channel and your Music my Brother!😎🤘💯
Absolutely love this song. I don't know how many times I've listened to it.
the Luther bar is luther vandross.. this is time where ja started doing the more melody raps and signed Bobby brown
My favourite diss from all of this beef was Hailie at the beginning of Doe Rae Me;
Em - "Hailie what do you want to be when you grow up baby?
Hailie - "I don't know, but I don't want to grow up to be like Ja Rule's little dirty ass kids"
Absolutely savage
🤣🤣🤣🤣
That shit had me tweaking 😂😂I was showing everyone that diss like y’all hear this shit😂😂😂
what a great era of hip-hop. fantastic breakdown professor of bar's until the next time.
I appreciate how enthusiastic you are
glad ur doing this ones Knox
You are so the man so knowledgeable, your rapping is awesome appreciate everything you do Craig from glasgow scotland sending love
Glad to see the respect for Bank$, Knox 👏 would love to see more Lloyd Bank$ reactions
I always took that "X, Luther, Pac, or Michael" line as (DMX) Luther *Vandross (because Ja was always singing)..
Yeah I figured it was all music related too
I think so too
'You better stick to the movies with Steven Seagal"...Ja was actually in the movie with Steven Seagal (Half past dead) around that times.
Thanks for going into some things in ways I didn't know or hadn't thought about! :)
I'm man enough to admit when I'm wrong I use to say you're not a rapper!!! I've always loved your breakdowns though!! After listening to your newer music then going back to your older stuff.... YOU CAN RAP!! I'll say it again YOU CAN RAP!! not that what I think matters but I just wanted to apologize I was wrong your still the best at break downs also great content and keep it up
Says a lot man thanks for giving my music a chance and for taking the time to comment. That’s what this channel is about - putting out the best I can with both the music and reactions and always giving quality content. The grind and evolution continues - appreciate you 🤟
Knox, the way you break down bars and know your hip hop history is insane! My boy does homework haha
This is a great vid. I only enjoyed this song for Em's bars. Learned how deep the song goes, with all the history you explained!
Mann you do a good job.. it is so obvious that you love that rap game and you r a knowledged person in that game
I Remember this song came out on the mixtapes this song was everywhere back then song is still🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for the breakdown. Good job as always Knox. Also that song he was talking about was talking about was
50 cent- life’s on the line. It was the last song on get rich or die tryin
But it was ORIGINALLY on his his mixtape “the power of a dollar” that was vaulted because he got shot. But hey, the internet found it.
Certified classic. Love it when em flex's
Loved this 🔥🔥🔥👽
*You are doin great last time in english class*
Thank you Knox ❤️
I was waiting for this video man... thank you so much... I read your mind lol 😜
I've been listening to this song long before this reaction came and it piqued my interest as to how this one was going to be deciphered. It was also on a news article about Em's diss track about Ja and what beef this song was addressing. Can't wait to here the reaction on "The Conspiracy Freestyle" and "When the Music Stops". GGs as always (fist bump)
Knox doing his thing which he's so good at.
great lyric breakdowns
Lloyd Banks is so dope. His first album has been in my playslist since it came out when I was a teenager
Underrated af
15:17 Eminem did go at Irv Gotti tho, on Hail Mary "Irv Gotti, too much bacardi in his body, mouth like a 12-gague shotty" and also on Bully "But Suge has Irv on a string and Irv's so nervous that he says anything to this man to keep him at bay"
Thanks man for explaining everything im from different country so needed a little explaining 💙👍
I just can't believe so many people never heard the 4 "unreleased" songs off the album.
This a classic. Blow your speakers out
It's Thuursday . . November 23rd 2023. THANKSGIVING. And I'm listening to a Knox Hill breakdown on The GOAT 🔥
I know you caught it but I wish somebody would've said something about the "I dont even carry guns no mo i dont got to, I got undercover cops that'll legally pop you" is one of my favorite eminem bars, its not too complex, its easy to catch but its feugo🔥🔥
You’re the best!
Thank you 🤘
I hope it's worth your time to cover more tracks from 50, Banks and g unit (back when they were together!)
wish 50 done a verse for this that would've been dope and I watched the live Knox thanks bro
Let's go professor let's go!!!!!! Got to check on the hook in the beginning of the song I Love It I like it I want some more of it!!!!!!!
Yes can you do some loyd banks break downs. Rotten apple
"I'm better off just left alone"
Had double meaning. He means that he's in his own lane as well and not comparable. He's too different and should not be compared. A trail blazer, a trend setter, someone who invented a whole subgenre. He's right, of course. That is the sub meaning outside of someone like Ja who needs to continuously bite his style
I had the privilege of living through this era of when all this was going on. I know people always talk about their generation being the best, but sorry, the 90s and 2000s is when we peeked as a culture.
Please check Eminem - Wicked Ways, and some lloyd banks would be cool
I'd recommend Lloyd Banks - Love Me In The Hood
Love the shirt 🤣
Knox you’ve gotta do fine line off shady XV, it’ll be one of favorite em songs immediately
Broooo, new Harry Mack on sway in the morning is the most insanse freestyle he’s ever dropped. It’s 7 minutes long and when it’s over sway is freaking out in the background haha! I would highly recommend, it just dropped!
Little late to this but another great one.
Funny how eminems old music is starting to make a comback! I use to listen to this song a long time ago all the time.
em was the best in 1999-2005 prime eminem
The people want blood 😤 🔥
Always dopee. Btw can you react to BOBBY - U MAD please
U need to do em- no apologies of the re up. That beat is so fucking sick n he absolutely destroyed it
feels like this was meant to go on The Re-Up 🔥🔥🔥
The green lantern mixtape is legendary
Man that intro song was killer but I also love the Green lantern mixtapes back in the day that was the s***
When you and Knight doing a collaboration video?? Miss those videos
Fck this beat never gets old
Bump Heads Eminem featuring 50 Cent & G-Unit 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥#ShadyAftermathGUnitFamily
17:18 Nah it just means Lloyd Banks is on the block where Ja Rule was raised blowing smoke out the van. The other thing you were trying to say it could mean wouldn't even make sense. As Lloyd Banks raps "I'm on the block where you was raised blowing chocolate up out the van" all it simply means is blowing smoke up out the van lool
You know what chocolate is exactly my guy? Or you just gonna say blowing smoke 🤣
@@KnoxHill Many rappers have used chocolate as a term for the strain of marijuana their smoking. It's said in multiple songs like 50 Cent's High All The Time "Give me some dro, purple haze and some chocolate" So yeah Lloyd Banks was clearly just saying he's blowing smoke from the marijuana up out the van, it's real easy to understand. I don't know how you thought that other thing lool
I love your technical break downs but sometimes i want to see just the vibe to the song
Knox you should do a live stream breakdown of mural
I haven't seen it yet or I don't know if you made a video or not but what about Eminem on Mathers day wicked ways
Man I need to find all my old cds
Em is the best at it.💯💯💯
Ja Rule was also in a movie with Steven Seagal called Half Past Dead
You should start a series bout Jay z !! Love your breakdowns!
Tony Yayo was the shit at the time i remembered when he dropped first solo album that shut was tigh free yayo love yayo man
12:00 It was because after Eminem & Ja Rule had that conversation, Ja Rule talked about how he & Murder Inc. beat up and stabbed 50 Cent in The Source magazine's October 2002 issue. Ja Rule didn't put out Loose Change until awhile after Eminem had already taken a shot at him on Go To Sleep. Eminem talked about the time when he and Ja Rule crossed paths in XXL March 2003 issue.
Eminem siad "During the end of the tour for The Eminem Show, I was waiting to get off my bus and get onto a jet, and Ja was getting off the jet. And it was me and Bizarre and one of my security guys. Bizzy gets on and says, “Yo, Ja’s out there. You wanna holla at him?” So I came up to him on some humble shit and said, “What’s up Ja? What’re you trying to get into?” And he was like, “Shit, just about to swallow this pill.” Took it right in front of me. Basically he was like, “I’m about to go to this club, keep doing your thing.” Now, we had already signed 50 at that point, I was basically saying, “What’s up?” to be cool about the situation. And to see that if there was a problem, if he was going to address it. He said nothing to me about it. Then, two weeks later that issue of The Source came out, and I see what he said. At first I was confused, like, “How long does it take for them to print a magazine?” If he had a problem with me signing 50 Cent, why didn’t he address it that night? Now all of a sudden he’s got an album coming out and it’s a problem? It’s funny because the night of the [MTV] Video Music Awards, the article had come out, but I didn’t see it till the next day. So at one point, I’m going down the stairs and he’s coming up the stairs and we almost cross paths. I’m thinking it’s all good, so I’m trying to look, make a little eye contact and say, “What up?” He had his head to the floor and he walked straight up the steps. I was kinda confused till the next day when I read the article. Then I was like, “Oh, I see, he put it out there in the article, so now he has to play it up for the public.”
Does that say "BARS! Gotta catch 'em all"
As someone who loves Pokémon (and bars, music is great), I appreciate that.
This song was actually before Get rich or die trying. 2002
Hey Knox, I hope you see this. I appreciate the breakdown on the kick-off freestyle. LEGENDARY! Have you heard anything from Versvs? You should check out his music. He has a track with Royce and Kxng Crooked. If you check one out tho please react to "Hi Token" I think you'll appreciate the track.
Love some Banks
And said this was new it is old this is on the Green lantern CD when Eminem produced him
Heyyy knox
Only thing you missed is the movie line. Ja was in a movie with Steven Seagal
Knox u need to do more 50 an gunit plz!!!
🔥🔥🔥
50 might have the hardest line with that “he got hit like I got hit, but he ain’t fucking breathing”
Lloyd Banks aka Rap God
Half past Dead is a movie starring Steven Segal and Ja-rule
50 is still selling out arenas around the world in 2023 by himself.
Yeah man yayo phoned his verse in! Hard asf.. lloyd banks can spit
Please react to straykids circus
Eminem the best
Busta also bumped horns with that Ram...
Will you ever react to G-eazy? Time would be a great to hear/see you reaction
Does it make you mad when I switch my flow?
You can't understand how I get my dough
50 Cent I'm on fire cause Shady said so
I'm on fire
Everybody's in a rush try to get the throne
I just get on the track and try to set the tone
I ain't tryna use nobody as a steppin stone
But don't compare me
I'm better off jus' left alone
And I ain't even tryna go there wit record sales
I'm just tryna keep it humble and respect myself
Say what up, keep steppin, and just rep D-12
Keep my nose clean, stay away from weapons, jail
And livin wreckless
But if you go check my belt
You may see something else I used to protect myself
A vest, to stop a Rueger and deflect the shells
And send 'em back at you faster than they left the barrel
And I don't even carry guns no more, I don't got to
Got undercover cops that'll legally pop you
And I done seen a lot of people cross the line
But this motherfucker Ja musta lost his mind
That X, got him thinkin' he was DMX
Then he switched to 'Pac now he's tryna be him next
So which one are you? X, Luther, Pac or Michael
Juss keep singin' the same song, recycled
We'd all much rather get along and fight you
Me and Hailie danced to your songs we liked you
And you don't really wanna step inside no mic booth
C'mon now, you know the white boy'll bite you
I hurt your pride dawg and you know I don't like to
But I will if I have to, with syllable after syllable I just slap you
Killin' you fasta than you poppin' pill afta little pill of them tabs of that shit you on
But if you want it you got it you'd bump this shit too, if we ain't diss you on it
But if we lock horns we can charge harder than Busta
We bump heads wit any motherfucker that wants to
So whats the, deal where was all the tough talk?
When I walked up to you like, Ja what up dawg?
How come you didn't say you had a problem then?
When you was standin' there wit all your men, we coulda solved this then
I'ma grown man dawg come holla
All you did was slapdance, smile and swallow,
Another one of them little X pills in front of me
And tell me 50 Cent was everything you wanna be come on
I know you don't want it with me
You know you don't want it with me
You, talk an' you soon will see
You don't wanna bump heads with me
I know you don't want it with me
You know you don't want it with me
You, talk an' you soon you will see
You don't wanna bump heads with me
You couldn't son me if my father helped you
My punchlines is hot, my bars'll melt you
Ja you Stuart Little, shells'll lift you
Every other week I'm buyin a new pistol
I clap at your ass with this chrome 38
And put six thru your hats of seven 3/8
Irv you ain't Suge Knight, you should shook night
I put my knife in ya wind pipe and freeze ya on the turnpike
You know and I know who took ya chain
You got robbed two times so ya ass is laid
I'm down to die for this shit all I need is bail
You betta stick to tha movies with Steven Seigel, bitch
I know you don't want it with me
You know you don't want it with me
You, talk an' you soon will see
You don't wanna bump heads with me
I know you don't want it with me
You know you don't want it with me
You, talk an' you soon you will see
You don't wanna bump heads with me
Fuck that I'm miles away
And these industry niggas startin' to get outta hand
I'ma find your whereabouts by stompin' 'em out ya man
Tellin' New York, even in Compton they understand
I'm on the block where you was raised doin' chocolate out tha game an'...
They see me more pop a boy for icey cuz I could
Shootin' guns for money you probably forgot your way around the hood
Bitch when you paranoid it's hard to make a song
Now you want it wit' us, half your artists got to make a point
Every magazine I own your on your knees takin' prayer picture
And you ain't even got shot yet, you scared bitches
You don't know nuttin' about what pain is sucka
I'll put your ass to the ground like a train conductor, muh'fucker
I know you don't want it with me
You know you don't want it with me
You, talk an' you soon will see
You don't wanna bump heads with me
I know you don't want it with me
You know you don't want it with me
You, talk an' you soon you will see
You don't wanna bump heads with me
Yeah nigga yeah
Shady Aftermath G-Unit
Fuck you think they call us G Unit for
Cause we move units uhha
Don't think we ain't billin you for this motherfucking studio time
A matter a fact keep call it a 50 we'll call it even
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! "He said, She said" Love that comparison between 50 and Ja!
I have to maybe correct you on the "X, Luther, Pac, or Michael" line. I take it as Luther Vandross. Coz Ja had all those features from R&B singers at the time. Just my thought!
em is the goat for putting banks and ye on one of his albums for the first time
Thank you Knox watching you from all the way to SA🇿🇦
Knox react to wretch 32 and avelino fire in the booth
