What else should we react to? 🤔 Comment below! Also if you like the song in the intro go bump ‘No More Sheep’ now 🤟 ua-cam.com/video/bl4a3lTXrsM/v-deo.html
yooo can we get a mori calliope - guh. really solid song
Aesop Rock from rhymesayers
Yoo Knox you are so freaking amazing I love watching your reaction but In terms of rapping you are so underrated I love your songs and my favorite is mumble rap because I love when you rap fast. Nothing but love
You're Never Over by Eminem from Recovery (his amazing tribute to Proof 🙏) and also, it would be great if you broke down the Pusha T and Drake beef on one of your lives.
Anything from biggie pls
“When your reign (rain) is over you'll hardly be missed (mist)”
That was one fire ass line.
Damn didn’t catch that good one
Genius
Every time I watch an eminem breakdown I am more and more impressed by his lyrical genius. This man is insane
Hard facts man
Absolutely!
The only thing that impresses me more than Em, is Knox's ability to catch at least 95% of what he drops.
@@AM-fb3cf truee I'm impressed by knox as well
@@KnoxHill
Ems' lyricism is just outta this world...
Look at this god damn 4 syllable rhyme scheme in the first verse, that you mentioned.
It goes literally from the first to the last thing he says in the verse...
Take me to the river
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah...
It's TWO THOUSAND AND TWO,
everything was TOTALLY NEW
We were GLOBALLY HUGE,
watchin' sales GO THROUGH THE ROOF
We WROTE AND WE FEUDED,
Runyon Avenue soldiers included, a multitude of homies who would bounce FOR NO GOOD EXCUSE
We were SO BULLETPROOF,
wrote, souped and SOAKED IN OUR YOUTH
Thought we was runnin' shit 'til we lost the SOLE OF OUR SHOE
The death of Doody BROKE US IN TWO
We were THROWN FOR A LOOP,
ain't none of us KNOW WHAT TO DO
And at the time I was goin' through MY OWN STRUGGLES TOO
So I wasn't in no condition to be COACHIN' US THROUGH
Everyone tried to go solo, really NOBODY BLEW
I was HOPIN' THEY DO,
so I ain't have to SHOULDER THE CREW
The plan was put everyone in position SO THAT THEY KNEW
How to stand on their own, and I don't wanna OPEN UP WOUNDS
I just noticed that oomph was gone when we GO IN THE BOOTH
'Cause the truth is, the moment Proof died, SO DID THE GROUP
Shoot...
JUST GOD DAMN!!!
Don't like or comment often but I gotta support a man aiming for his dream! With your breakdowns we know you'll make it.
Much love man thank you!!
@@KnoxHill man I really hope you succeed with the path you chose to walk down. Even if this might not have been the best decision financially it was definitely worth persuing your dream
He’s the GOAT and what you see is what you get. He’s a great guy and misses nothing. Literally a bar does NOT get missed. Ever.
When I first heard this song...when he said "D12 is over"...I literally teared up. I grew up on Eminem and D12...and yes, hearing him say that was like a direct shot to the heart...BUT it gave us closure on wondering about the status of D12.
It was bittersweet.
This song certainly hit very hard when I first heard it. Like a shot to the heart is right. I'm a huge D12 fan. Devil's Night and D12 World were classic rap albums in my opinion. I remember when those albums came out. I bought D12 World the first week it came out and listen to it a lot. Proof's death really hurt all of them. Eminem's drug problem got worse and he nearly died. When Em made his return in 2009 my hopes for a third D12 album went up but after hearing this song I got that sinking feeling and a blow straight to the heart. Disappointment but I understand. Proof was the creator of D12 and the glue that held them together. I will always be a fan of D12 and I still listen to their music. It's the Dirty Dozen forever. RIP Big Proof.
I'm a huge D12 fan too. Their music has helped me through some really dark times in my past. And technically there was a third D12 album, it's called The return of the dozen. But em wasn't on it, and the sales didn't do good. the last song they ever did together was, Hit me with your Best shot. It was supposed to be on recovery, but it got pulled last second.
@@rondutertre3367 Return of the Dozen vol 1 and 2 were mix tapes. They weren’t official studio albums like Devil’s Night and D12 World. Eminem wasn’t on vol 1 but he was on one song on vol 2 called Fame. The D12 song that was supposed to be on Recovery was the last song they did with Em but not the last song the other members did with each other. Swift, Kuniva, Bizarre and Kon Artist have continued to collab throughout the years. A lot of those songs I liked even without Em on them.
@@bfsd150 oh yeah that's right about the mixtapes. But they're still good. I like them. And it's not Eminem that makes D12 great. It's D12 that makes D12 great. they all pull their weight, and to this day, I still listen to all their solo albums.
this is low key one of the best underrated songs of Eminem
What does low key mean?
He didnt diss them he just closed a chapter
dud watch the video before writing 😂😂😂
🙌🤝
@@xDerSiVaSGaNgStEr58 just some dumb clickbait as usual from knox.
@@adamklevvall6180 knox is the goat at breaking it down. Don't hate. Just don't watch dumb ass. Don't be so easily influenced. Sounds like you should think for yourself.. dumb fxxk
@@adamklevvall6180 sorry you were forced to watch this. Knox take the gun from his temple.. lmao. Loser
This is one of my favorites from kamikaze.
It’s shows that even Eminem can have a vulnerable side, the side that he tried to show in Revival, but people just spat on it, just like people spat on D12 after Em left.
Love ya Knox thank you for all these breakdowns. Loved blacklist.
Best of luck for you going full time on UA-cam.
This is one of my favorites too just cause it breaks the diss type of music and mellows the album out with a kind of apology song to D12
I hate that so many people shat on Revival so much. Eminem was actually letting us in his head, but no people were just like,"We want Shady." It's almost like people want Eminem to be angry all the time.
This wasn’t Eminem or shady….. it was Marshall
D12 never deserved to be spat on. Those people are not D12 fans. They're haters. They hate D12 and they've always hated it. The other members of the group had talent as well. I liked their parts on the D12 albums and I listened to their solo stuff too. Not bad. D12 is a rap group. It's not just about Eminem. It was about everyone of them. If you only liked Eminem from the group. That's fine but you're no D12 fan.
Em's finally being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame!
Finally? It's the 1st year he is eligible
@@darrenboyd8254 should've been inducted a decade ago
@@TryPuttingItInRice you aren't eligible until your 1st album is 25 years old so how could he be inducted a decade ago?
@Som I know that, what's your point
Rap God reference 😂
I've loved Hip-hop since I was a kid, these breakdowns are deepening that love.
In all the time I have listened to this song over the years, probably my favourite song from the album, I completely 'missed' the "mist" double entendre.
Got the reign/rain one, but the missed/mist one completely over my head. Thats such a good line by em, and massive props to you for catching it.
When I first heard this song, I’m not afraid to say that it brought me to tears. This was em pouring his heart out and it hits so deep.
In the last verse when he rapps about karma and artists dissed , I think em was talking about him self in the 3rd person as he finishes with " for turning your back on bizzy kaniva and swift " those 3 as proof was his best friend and Mr porter still works with him . Just a thought
I think I've always missed the 'mist' 'missed ' kinda blew my mind 🤯 love your reactions and this just proves why 😬👌🏻
Quite possibly my favorite song on the album, so much emotion. You can tell he wanted to put this out for a while, but wanted to make sure it was perfect
One of my favourite songs from kamikaze…thanks Knoxx. Subscribed when you were under 100k, proud of your journey. Definitely the best bar breakdown reaction channel 💪🏾
First, love ur vids Knox !
When I first heard this song and he said D12 is over, was like a shot to the gut. D12 will always be the best hip hop group
Another great breakdown 👌 thank you
Appreciate the love bro
Knox best Breakdowns and hands down one of the most clever emcees
Appreciate the love man thank you
@@KnoxHill you've inspires alot my newer lyrical skills. So it's what I can give back is support.
This song still makes me cry... u can tell he is in his feels with this one... KNOX i have 2 ask u something how do u not get annoyed when people come at u with "im still waitin for u 2 react to this song or that song" do they not realize how many requests u get... I GETT ANNOYED FOR U LOL... anyways ANOTHER great reaction and break down... and OMG drug ballad LOVE that song lol
Haha it just comes with the territory at this point. I just try to embrace it with patience and appreciate that people are passionate about music as am I. I think we’ll have to do Drug Ballad one day too lol. Absolute classic
Thank u so much for doing this song.... I've waited for so long
So glad you did this one again! Always an incredible breakdown. Thanks so much Knox!
This wasn't a diss at D12. It's sad, but understandable at the same time. I actually cried whenever I hear this.
This is amazing
this breakdown was amazing, i love how you talk about the beat and the technicality too. keep going knox
great reaction
Been watching you since the beginning and also got both your albums downloaded you are a goat and an Inspiration thank you for all the work you put in x
i dont know if you will ever get to see this. but been watching this reactions for almost 2 years and the way it has helped me grow as a rapper is just simply amazing. i didnt know i could learn so much by just watching you.

The most underrated track of kamikaze 💯
I'm looking forward to watching this reaction, I love songs that Em does that explain what went on/what he thought and wanted. Stuff like that. And nah. He didn't diss them. Lol. Those titles get clicks though. Glad you're full-time man. Wish the best for ya, I'm waiting on new music. xD
He is also talking about his addiction make amends is the 9th step of the 12 step programm 🙏 great breakdown !!
Thank you knox! So glad we’re still here! So excited for the new career path , you made it !!!!!
That's a beautiful music
Knox Doing This For Us 2nd Time...
But The First One was when he did in the whole "Kamikaze 🛬💥 Album " Live Stream... But that's a point of whole album review...

Great vid. Loved the comment on the Barcadi and Hen. My fav Em song
SUPER BREAKDOWN❤️
Been waiting awhile for this song and I'm happy to see you finally doing it
Loved the Intro! ❤️😍❤️
I don’t know if he saw my comments or not but I’ve been requesting this for a while, and I can not believe he’s actually doing it
I did
@@KnoxHill thank you so much, much respect my guy
Man I went from heavy metal to wrap after hearing 50 cent the eminem then D12. Now i mainly only listen to rap. You have taught me so much in what too look for in a rap songs Knox! I used to hear and hate quick based on sound.. now i may not like a song but i respect the artist level or technicals after watching you for a lil over 2 years. Edit Lmao i am not changing the wrap typo ill pretend it is a bar.
Your reactions rock!! Love that we will see more of you now! I’m jammin on your Blacklist album-awesomeness!! Peace. 🎵🔥✌️
Fantastic sir ive appreciated his 25 years of genius but your tactical breakdown, makes me appreciate even higher some how x

Can we have Harry Mack "Break ya neck" freestyle please Knox??
this is dope.
1st time watchin a breakdown
Hell yeah man I’ve been requesting this one for a bit
Waiting for 'Vegas' reaction by Bad meets Evil...I hope you get this man
Been waiting on this knox
This song is my top 3 off the kamikaze album.
The course of this song is my ringtone
Love your music and these breakdowns
Should do one for Drug Ballad, if there’s not one already. It’s also one of my favorite Em songs. 🤘
"I'm fighting for air, I'm barely charting myself", as an airplane/charting, and charting musically.
Love it, can you react to Bobby - U Mad. Literally the best kpop rap song
Love the Eminem break downs Knox you rock
Knew longtime a go, they will probably never continue w/o Proof, but having Em confirm it,still hurt.I always wondered what happened w Proof's discography, the rights to his music..on spotify you can find a few scathered songs, but his main album isn't there. And usually there are few verses locked in somewhere from rappers that passed, but no new ones from him😕
TBH...and,don't get it twisted, i'm a huge fan,i always thought Em could have done more to keep Proof's legacy alive.I feel so sorry to see his son kinda clout chasing, teasing an Em collab for years. But i also think Em tried to support Nasaan,so who knows how much Em helped him behind the scenes.
Knox I highly recommend you listen to “My Why” by swift and kuniva
They talk about their time in d12 and it’s like their side of this
Yo Knox, Coast Contra is coming up. They have a LOT of references, I need you to break down what I'm missing.
I appreciate your comment at the end about D12 because lately I've been really wracking my brain trying to think of anyone besides Wu that was at the same level as them musically.
I get to work and see this hell yeah thx for the present man.
was waiting on this one thanks knox
[Chorus: Eminem]
I'ma wash away my sins
I'ma rinse away this dirt
I forgot to make amends
To all the friends I may have hurt
I better stop and say my grace
From it I pray that I don't fall
'Cause on the way back down I may
End up runnin' back into them all
I never meant to use you all as my stepping stones
from it i pray that i don't fall
fall as in fall down (Hes 51 years old)
but fall as in fall off but pray=rap god
[Chorus: Ed Sheeran]
I've been a liar, been a thief
Been a lover, been a cheat
All my sins need holy water, feel it washing over me
Well, little one, I don't want to admit to something
If all it's gonna cause is pain
Truth and my lies right now are falling like the rain
So let the river run
Get on my soapbox and preach, my sermon and speech
Detergent and bleach is burnin' the wound
'Cause now with her in the womb
We can't bring her in this world, shoulda knew
To use protection 'fore I bit into your forbidden fruit
Fuck!
forbidden fruit meaning the apple in adam and eve story
but also the adam and even bar in MTBMB
That's part of the reason I do all my talking with ink
And as long as I'm breathing I vow to smother and beat them
A God but a heart of a demon, go at 'em and I'ma get even
Like I'm in the Garden of Eden, I'm 'bout to go off of the deep end
This evil is calling, I'm already seething and
The river that Ed Sheeran mentions draws similarities to the Jordan River prevalently featured in the Bible. Matthew 3:5-6, John The Baptist would baptize Christians there, and the River would be a picture of their “sins being washed away”: john the baptist can be eminem's uncle ronnie who introduce him to rap/hip hop
and eminem baptize dr dre and the world with SLIM SHADY AS WELL....
and holy water jordan river can be the holy water too as well
there's a reason why he ingrated river with revival and stepping stone with kamikaze
The chorus represents Em’s desire to wash away his sins-a topic that isn’t new for him, as he once shared a similar sentiment on “Bad Guy” off his previous album The Marshall Mathers LP2:
Perfect time to have some remorse to show for your sin
The river that Ed Sheeran mentions draws similarities to the Jordan River prevalently featured in the Bible. Matthew 3:5-6, John The Baptist would baptize Christians there, and the River would be a picture of their “sins being washed away”:
People went out to him from Jerusalem and all Judea and the whole region of the Jordan. Confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River. this can be the sins of slim shady being washed away revealing marshall the dad or eminem the rapper.
If I could leave this all behind
I could open up my eyes and walk in a straight line
Down to the river with you
Help me leave this all behind
I'ma wash away my sins
I'ma rinse away this dirt
I forgot to make amends
To all the friends I may have hurt
I better stop and say my grace
From it I pray that I don't fall
'Cause on the way back down I may
End up runnin' back into them all
I never meant to use you all as my stepping stones
both songs reference washing away his sins can be reference back to his own discography as well washing away old albums for newer ones too as well
Down to the river with you
Help me leave this all behind
I'ma wash away my sins
All my sins need holy water, feel it washing over me
Well, little one, I don't want to admit to something
If all it's gonna cause is pain
Truth and my lies right now are falling like the rain
So let the river run
ALL MY SINS NEED HOLY WATER holy water references the bible and holy water reference rap god which means rap is the holy water to wash away eminem sins to put that into music to carry the messages into audiences minds
and the River would be a picture of their “sins being washed away”:
Eminem is washing away his sins in music but bad guy says perfect time to have remorse for your sins as in having remorse for all of the bad things he has said.
I forgot to make amends feel like this is a no apologies reference he forget to make amends meaning he won't apologize for anything very SLIM SHADY BAR Lol
What does it really mean to make amends?
: to do something to correct a mistake that one has made or a bad situation that one has caused.
Detergent and bleach is burnin' the wound
BUT BLEACH BLONDE HAIR i don't know if anyone caught that yet.
I just heard stepping stones today... I thought this at first but thanks for this analysis
Great video keep up the hard work u a great rapper to

It's 2002, everything was totally new

So I wasn't in no condition to be coachin' us through

From it I pray that I don't fall
'Cause on the way back down I may
End up runnin' back into them all
I never meant to use you all as my stepping stones
It was never the same, and it's bothered me since
And the farther we drift apart, the more awkward it gets
The more time goes by, the more life happens
And we gotta be men, we got responsibilities
Plus we don't say how we feel
And I feel like this is what got us in the debacle we're in
Been with you guys thick and thin
But it's almost as if sometimes we're not even friends
Which reminded me Biz, "Rockstar" was the shit
Y'all coulda got you a hit without me on the shit
If you woulda put D12 on it, wish I coulda did
More than try talkin' you into comin' up off of it
I know it wasn't my fault, but part of it probably is
I think of all of the trips to BET
And the rappers I wish that we woulda politicked with
Maybe y'all coulda clicked and got you some features
But that's water under the bridge
But I'm washin' my sins in it 'til my conscience is cleansed
If I could leave this all behind
I could open up my eyes and walk in a straight line
Down to the river with you
Help me leave this all behind
I'ma wash away my sins
I'ma rinse away this dirt
I forgot to make amends
To all the friends I may have hurt
I better stop and say my grace
From it I pray that I don't fall
'Cause on the way back down I may
End up runnin' back into them all
I never meant to use you all as my stepping stones
Bacardi and Hen', never thought the party would end
One minute you're bodyin' shit, but then your audience splits
You can already sense the climate is startin' to shift
To these kids you no longer exist
Went from rainin' cats and dogs in this bitch
To tiny drops, little drips
And by the time your reign is over, you'll hardly be missed
You start thinkin' of all the artists you dissed
All the carnage you left, is this the kind of karma you get
For turnin' your fuckin' back on Bizzy, Kuniva and Swift?
A Freudian slip, subconsciously, I honestly wished
I ain't feel so much guilt and y'all didn't harbor resentment
But it's hard to pretend that y'all ain't got none
I just wish I had words, but I guess there just are none for this
To my partners, I can't say how sorry I am
This is not how I planned for our story to end
I love all of you men
But I just can't be the guy everybody depends
On for entire careers 'cause that's not even fair
I will always be here, but that spark isn't there
And I don't know how to recapture that time and that era
I've tried hearkening back to, but I'm fightin' for air
I'm barely chartin' myself
Feels like I'm on the descent, but it was not my intent
To treat y'all like a stepping stone
Though I ain't left no one behind, but we been down every road
Done all we possibly can, I know we kept our hopes up
But the longer we spend livin' this lie that we live
The less is left for closure, so let's let this go
It's not goodbye to our friendship, but D12 is over
I'ma wash away my sins
I'ma rinse away this dirt
I forgot to make amends
To all the friends I may have hurt
I better stop and say my grace
From it I pray that I don't fall
'Cause on the way back down I may
End up runnin' back into them all
I never meant to use you all as my stepping stones
I never mant to make you feel like my stepping stones
I never meant to use you all for my stepping stones
Bad ass break down yet again !
There's an interview where D12 actually says they felt like Eminem could've said this in person to them.
It takes a very talented brain and listening ears to catch ever bar that em spit cos every word is a bar cos em doesn't waste words a lot of people hear it but they don't listen... Knox hill has the brain 🔥🔥
Knox is a leach
Your breakdown vids are fire btw, you not only explain the technical parts but the story behind the words in great way! Was just listening to Drug Ballad today lmao 😂
React to Who Knew by Eminem unless you did already
Thanks..🎶✨
Wooo! Its Mathers Day! Can't wait for this break down. Lets go!!! 🔥🔥🔥🤘
You really need to check out the song- Hit me with your Best shot by D12. it's the last song they ever did together. It was supposed to be on recovery, but for some reason it got pulled last second. They all go hard, and my personal opinion, bizarre's verse is the best verse he has ever done.
And also by the way, asshole!!!! Now I have to go listen to drug ballad because of you. As soon as he starts spitting that first verse, the whole song got stuck in my head. Lmfao.
Made my day♥️
Eminem didn’t diss D12 it’s a goodbye song to D12 he even says in the song “the moment that proof died so did the group” he also says “it’s not the end of our friendship but D12 was over”
Sole of the shoe, death of the crew, globally huge, go in the booth, all of these rhyme schemes kept throughout the first verse. So insane!
Great song. Thanks Prof Knox.
I said on tiktok that after Em did "Forever" he hit another gear and hit a 2nd prime of his career. After that song he dropped "Recovery" then went on a run with a bunch of great albums with top tier lyrics. But some people want to argue and not understand what I mean just because Ems not on the radio or as popular anymore.
Hey please breakdown Bad Husband. I love Em on rock beats
That’s awesome well done for charting you deserve it! I need to listen to you on iTunes, not Spotify. I feel like this is better for you? (genuinely don’t know). And love the breakdowns, you always teach me something that I missed as an Eminem stan 😂 I guess not everybody can catch every bar and the music analysis as well.
Love them bro - And because I purchased your last signed copy I deserve a song choice 🤣
Professor green - Jungle
Or
Eminems Stimulate.
I got a few songs to react to plz all by em btw
Black magic, Alfred’s theme, tone deaf and my dads gone crazy plz and thank you
Do Blacklist is soo fire, you can hear thr progression from Chaos Theory. I can hear Ems influence on you more and more, from your breakdowns. Love your grind. You the G.O.A.T in your own right. Just like Em being the G.O.A.T 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yo knox you should defo dive in to d12 catalog
love the song in the intro, keep it up
Good luck full time sir!!!!
Knox do Eminem music box next!
Love the reactions but still upset I haven’t received my air guitar from subscribing a while ago.
What a breakdown u r awesome 😊
React to GOBLIN MODE
Daveed Diggs and Clipping!!!!!!!!
Finally you cover my favorite song from Kamikaze
And the drops will become drips.
Hey Knox I’ve made a few comments before and I don’t think you’ve ever seen them but ima try again but I really hope in the near future you break down some immortal technique I’m sure you know who he is and maybe I haven’t gotten far enough back in your videos yet to see it but I’m sure it would be an amazing rap lesson from the professor (you)
Nice
Duuude anxiously waiting for your reaction of Harry Mack’s Omegle Bars 64!!! One of his best ones for sure. Go and hit that baby for us.
Eminem got influence from Tupac Shakur
