Yay! Happy to see an Em breakdown pop up!! ❤❤❤ We just went into lockdown here... again...😢😢. So I NEEDED this. Thank you!!!
I just watched an old Eminem Show DVD. Lol. It had some interview footage with Em talking. He mentioned that he always wanted to be able to make music that was never the same. To make sure each album was different from the rest. He noted that most artists who stick to the same thing over and over do not have longevity.. well, we're almost 20 years later and he's still here. He knew the formula for longevity and followed through. We are so grateful.
Also, isn't it funny that those of us who have been with him since the beginning seemed to have turned out completely fine? 🤣🤣 Governments and parents were all worried. And here we are.. many of us getting close to 40 years old. Still listening to Em hahahaa. So funny.
For the record, that isn't Sia in the video. The woman is Winnie Harlow and is a Canadian Model.
Anyway, I should probably cut this comment off now. As always, another great video, Knox! Hope you are feeling better!! ❤

Underrated song, despite being one of the most motivational and emotional. Then again it was on a less known album, maybe that's it. People don't talk about this one as much. The message hits me hard, guts over fear, I live by that even though I have a lot of fear as well I always push through, much like EM, and he reminds me to keep it that way, I love him for that. Whenever I face hard times I just need to put his music on, and feel re-energized. The legend of the angry blonde lives on through you when I'm gone, yes it will, so that hits me deep. Also thinking of that time when he's gone, I can't imagine.

u know whats so beautiful about the video and more so the ending...as he walks to the ring for the fight...to me...symbolically its like hes walking back to the locker room after a victory...because the whole entire video...was the "boxing match"...it was the fight...so the video ending before we see him even get in the ring...thats even more like...impactful to me cause...THE ACTUAL BOXING MATCH...THE FACT THE HE IS EVEN THERE...ISSS THE TITLE BELT...the physical pain we know he will go thru in the fight...is not even CLOOOSE...to the pain that he overcame in his life outside the ring....
when ya back is against the ropes...and life is hitting ya with an avalanche of strikes....two things can happen....the first thing...is GUARANTEED to happen...you will get hit...it will hurt...and you get hit again....and again...THE SECOND THING THAT CAN HAPPEN...YOU hit back....BUUUUUUT...thats on you to decide....GUTS...or...FEAR?

The line that always brings a tear to my eye is "what am I going to do when that light goes out in the trailer park?" There comes a time in everyone's life where he/she hangs it up. Many rappers have done what Eminem have done but he has shown you don't have to retire when you are in your 40s. Hip-Hop is the one genre that has a some people have a problem with rappers that are near or in their 50s that they are too old. Any other genre people donts÷mto mind. The goats and the greats have give Eminem his flowers. Say what you will about Marshall, he has made an impact around the world that no other hip hop artist has done. Over 200 million albums sold, and has fans across the globe. Not all Eminem fans are stan.
People that say Eminem is only popular because of his skin color only goes so far. If that is the case then why don't other white rappers do as well as he does?" Nearly 25 years in the top spot and are beating younger. And stop this capping with others don't matter. It seems to me that when it comes to eminem people say numbers don't matter, when it isn't eminem all of a sudden numbers don't matter. It is Goofy.

That "Not Afraid 2" bar might also be him saying he would rather relapse (and go through recovering) again than to go back to that type of song.

Speaking of infinite Eminem, you should react to these two pre infinite songs by him ... "Troublemaker" and "What's your intent" ....he's always been on another level even then

Your song at the beginning is incredible, a bit more Pop like but you have an incredible voice man. It's been a hell of journey that I've seen you go on and I'm proud of you, even though I'm just a dedicated sub :). Love you man and I hope your family is doing well!

Re: the argument that Em was making about his “shocking” lyrics only being entertainment…
We all loved Game of Thrones, a book & TV show filled with brutal violence, sexual assault and other horrific themes - yet no one ever questions George R.R. Martin as the author of these violent images. Never. A rapper uses the same images in a song, like Em, and he gets universally vilified. It’s hypocrisy at its very highest level.

I think and believe a person only fail if they stop believing and give up on themselves, as long as you keep trying, keep getting back, believing in yourself you never fail
