I actually tried this in my early years of growing cannabis as an learning experiment. The plants got stressed to the point that some developed hermaphroditism because i forced them into a reproductive phase before they have adequately prepared. To be fair, 1 out of the 7 actually grew to completion with a whopping yield of 12g (he said sarcastically). This is should not be considered a ''growing tip" because it has more negative than positive results.

Been a commercial grower since 1965. That's 59 years. 24hr. cycle has proven most effective. So I call B.S. And yes, I grow the cup winners.
I saw the 12/12 thing and have to call BS as well. Start seeds on 12/12 and they still don’t show sex until they’re about two months old, so it’s just giving the plant less time to photosynthesize. And I don’t mess with autos.
Hey can u grow high THC count outside? I've grown outside for roughly 20 years but never took time to ever try to inside, I think it's easier than I'm making my mind think it is? I don't know I always wonder though can u basically grow the same nugg or high grade bud outside
@@ColbyScott-hr7gc Yes, you can, I do. It's the all about genetics + ideal conditions. Indoor is a hassle. Let nature do the work (and bear the expense).

I didn't even order anything this year bc I had 15 random seeds I haven't a clue what strain but I'm gonna be ready for next summer , I live in Va
@@antonioforestgardens697 I have a few ideas, I really like GMO and White Durban those are two of my favorites along with so many in the past I don't even remember the names but the past two years I've kept up with all my strains since the dispensary opened Rise
Done this for awhile with great results
I keep it 16/8 vegetation and 12/12 for flowering in a perpetual run. Always have new buds.
Why is everyone complaining? The video is exactly what the title says. Tons of ppl have tried this with success. Its just an expedited grow without the risky-ness of autos

We have a cycle of the 1 week veg (18/6)
Then into the 12/12 for quick turn but you need quantity and quality
A plant cannot go into flower the first couple of weeks, so it makes no sense to give 12/12 from the start. Rather give 18/6 the first 4 weeks and than switch to 12/12

Might be too hot. Just use RO for 2 weeks. If you’re gonna use tap water just make sure you let it sit over night to dechlorinates and then ph.

Why do you ask? Overconsumption can cause renal and pancreatic issues, which I’ve had before. Look up CHS if you’re unfamiliar with it. Idk, call it a hunch..l

Even waiting two weeks after sprout to go 12/12 will double plant size and adds zero time

Has anyone tried this or are you just speculating? It sounds like you're just cutting out the veg cycle. And everything else will be the same.
I’ve done this before, it’s total BS. Unless you’re growing an auto (where photoperiods don’t matter so it would be pointless) a seed will not show sex or begin to flower until it reaches proper maturity, usually 6-8 weeks old at least. This is regardless of the light cycle you give it, provided you aren’t stressing it with an abnormal one. I’ve tried starting seeds on 12/12 in an effort to get the plants to show sex early many times and ‘skip’ VEG - it doesn’t speed anything up in my experience. The only reason to start on 12/12 would be to reduce energy cost, which reduces the end result. But don’t take my word for it, try it yourself. And remember, im talking about regular seeds, not autos.
I really think the operators of this channel either don’t actually consume cannabis, or just don’t care about actually fact checking what they plan to publish.

Balance those nuts and you'll never need to flush. No added benefit if you are precise with the nitrogen in the first place.
How to control nitrogen?
