    Great tip Racheal!
    For the commentors who had asked:
    There's sole protection and sole preservation. The 3m is sole preservation.
    A form of protection is having a rubber Topy or Vibram done on them from a cobbler.
    A lot of Louboutin heels owners get em done for grip. Not only does it protect the leather soles, it also adds very good grip, no more slipping lol
    BUT with that said, Louboutin & some high end shoe designers, don't recommend you getting a Topy grip done on them, because of balance, and how the heel was originally designed to sit on ground, matching heal stub. (The Topy, Vibram rubber grips are a little thick.)
    Rachel is a pro heel walker, unlike me, walking awkwardly and slipping. So she only needs the 3M covers.
    Me, I get Topy rubber done on mine, cuz I need all the grip I can get 😂
    For the commentors asking WHY these shoes need protection, why would it rub off, wear off so easy, why not just replace shoes etc.
    Well......I'm not gonna even go there 😂 it's too much to explain.

    • @nathanielcraig3588
      @nathanielcraig3588 Рік тому +1

      Just wanted to say, you're not protecting the leather soles by getting topy or other rubber soles added, the cobbler sands down the leather sole to add the new sole. It's also completely unnecessary on new shoes, leather soles usually can last upward of 200-300 miles of walking before they need to be repaired or replaced.

      Leather deteriorates and it’s natural but what separates these from cheaper shoes is they’re made so they can be easily repaired and in long term are less wasteful than cheaper options because of that. You don’t need the red bottoms for them to function either, I have some good news: you can still walk on shoes without red bottoms!! The reason the woman in the video cares is because she’s a collector and wishes to keep her shoes as she bought them while still using them with minimal repairs.
