    Samuel, ever since I found your channel, I've loved all your reviews. In addition to the accuracy & thoroughness of your thinking, your enthusiasm & passion is *contagious*. Of course, I find your videos also very informative, but even if the topic is one that I'm well familiar with, I still watch it just for the wonderful atmosphere. Warm regards from cold Finland (Lapland)!

      that was such nice feedback, thanks! I am trying to do my best to inform but also try to entertain a little. I need to work on the entertainment side of things, but I plan to introduce some concepts in future videos, not easy when you are a one-man band... But glad you found them helpful! I once filmed a Music video in Bergen, Norway which is further south than where you are in Finland. I get shivers only thinking about the cold temperatures up there where you are.. The UK as it is already feels too cold for me!

      @@SamuelSotiega I sure did. If I ever construct a studio, it will be modeled on many of your fine examples.

    These look great. Love the small size on the X100 given the power. Battery life is great as well as you will not need full power all the time.

      They are great. I was filming some real estate yesterday and I just took my X100 Nd M20C and I was only running the X100 at 35% indoor to compensate for filming someone when exposing to the bright exterior. So tiny, they fit anywhere. They are a good investment for anyone, not cheap but quality that will last decades…

      Wow, such a nice comment! Thanks for the feedback! I am trying, still learning the youtube "craft". I can work your butt off for 2 weeks, put out what I think is a good video and it will bomb. Normally if I work for 2 weeks on a clients video they love it. UA-cam is certainly a world of its own.... But I keep pushing and it is comments like yours that make it all worth it.

    I learned a few things about the different soft boxes! That studio set up you have looks great by the way. Do you think the X100 would be enough for someone doing talking heads indoor in a small room or the G200?

    • @SamuelSotiega
      @SamuelSotiega  6 місяців тому

      I think the X100 will be enough. I would take the money you save from buying the G200 and buy the bowens mount adaptor for the X100 and then a 90D parabolic softbox, like the one in the video. That is a killer combo, for what you told me you want to do. As long as your room is not massive and you want to light yourself like I did in the video. The G200 would be a bit of an overkill, I think…

    How I set up my UA-cam studio, in less than 15 minutes, from my Living Room. If you have a small place or a small room, this video will show you how to do it! ua-cam.com/video/7pmVLQqjwDc/v-deo.html
