Beautiful work. I always get inspired when I watch your videos. Thank you. I can’t wait for your next video. And what sweater is that you are wearing? I love the cuffs.
Hello Alex, thank you for your comment! The pretty cuffs are actually wrist warmers. I fell in love when I saw them and just had to make myself a pair. They are from Molly Makes magazine (issue 10). :-)
Such a beautiful corner for that tatting pattern. Just gorgeous! I am going to slow this video down so I can see how you place the working shuttle thread over your finger. I taught myself how to tat with a VHS tape of Bev Dillion. Very traditional and takes a little longer. I LOVE your style.
Here is one video that shows the work of the right hand: ua-cam.com/video/dAApVK5WmgY/v-deo.html And here's another, older one, which no longer has annotations but it shows how I use my middle fingers to push the thread out of the way as I make the stitches instead of wrapping around my right-hand as many people tend to do. Hope this helps! But let me know if there's anything else you'd like to see more up close. :-)
I was wondering if you could make a video explaining the differences and pros and cons of tatting with 1 vs 2 shuttles vs tatting from the ball vs needle tatting? I have learned a lot and gained some confidence to try bigger more complicated projects through your wonderful videos!
Hi! Thank you for your comment and video suggestion. I'm very glad you are enjoying my videos and I have added your suggestion to my list of videos to make. :-)
Hi Maggie, this pattern is only rings and chains so I can't see there would be any problems making it with a needle. However, as I'm no needle expert I'm afraid I can't give any advice on how to make it with a needle.
Hello, you had trouble with your Lizbeth thread? I've never had a problem with Lizbeth but I have heard from other tatters that it occasionally happens. Your can just drop your shuttle occasionally and let it untwist itself before carrying on. But yes, it can be annoying to have a "twisty" thread.
Hi Georgina, there is a sister video that shows how to make the edging. If you click on the little i in a circle in the corner of the video, you will see the link.
I enjoyed watching you doing the Fleurette Edging and appreciate it having also the corner. Well described. Thanks!
Thank you for your comment Paul, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. :-)

Hi Maria! Thank you! I actually have a video that specifically shows what the right hand is doing... have you seen it?

@@11Frivole thank you so much! I had watched it when you posted it (the first time) but just recently learned how to slow the UA-cam down.

Thanks for sharing beautiful pattern
You’re welcome 😊
Me encanta ese diseño, las pequeñas florcitas se ven hermosas utilizando hilo de un solo color o matizado.
De acuerdo Porfinerika! :-)
Thanks very very much !!!!!! for your videos, any chance you make one to explain how to select a shuttle? Differences among them?
Hi Veronica, thank you for your suggestion. I will put it on my list! :-)
I've been following all ur videos made some motif too
Nice to hear!
So pretty but I can’t use the shuttle,
Can I do this pattern with needle tatting?

J' adore !!!
Contente que ça vous plaise! :-)
What size thread did you use? I love watching you. I am self taught. Thank you!!! And beautiful shuttles! Love the wrist warmers!!!
Hello Kathy, the edging is worked in size 20 thread. Thank you for your comment, glad you like the shuttles... and the wrist warmers! :-)
@@11Frivole Thanks!

For the doily you made with this did it naturally curve around the fabric, or did you have to make corners for it?
Hi Krisjin, there is enough flexibility in this design so that you can have it along a straight edge or a slightly curved edge like this one. :-)
Very prity shuttle pattern design I like shuttle work
Thank you! Cheers!
love it. Thank you so much!
You're welcome! :-)
