The Gold ones look amazing and can't wait to add the 1oz, 1/4 and 1/10oz to this Lunar collection....could do with Gold spot price coming down though. Not as wild on the Silver version but still good and will be getting the 2oz version to keep the Silver run going as well...at least the Silver one doesn't break the bank!!!
The gold and platinum designs are excellent. The silver is different yes, but I personally like it. The reason why it's devisive is because people were expecting the "usual" mother/baby or standard design. This steps outside the box in a different view. On paper the design I was sceptical, but in the hand it's a winner.
Because the KCIII reverse was only recently approved for Australian coins and should start making an appearance next year. The dies for these coins would have been made quite a while ago and they're not going to go through the expense of changing them as that would blow out the lead times on production
I don't think the dragon is breathing out water. It's fire. Since when does a dragon breathe out water? Never. That said, I like the silver design better than the gold. Good video.
Hi slowride9994, We also thought it was fire at first sight, although it is noted as water in Perth Mint's coin description. Additionally, traditional Chinese Dragons are known to be associated with water and not fire like the Western/European dragons. It actually makes the silver design a little cooler once you know! - Swan Bullion
As a Chinese person I have to say the design of the dragon of the series III is the ugliest dragon I have seen in my life. I have many sets of series I and II because I really like the designs. The 2024 dragon design I will not waste my money on it. I will get rid of my The Year of the Rat, Ox, Tiger and Rabbit I planed to collect. What a big disappointment.
I like the silver dragon! Breathing out water while facing you is a nice touch, different from the usual.
This coin is my favourite of all the Lunar counts in all series. It is such a beauty :)
I fancy myself one of those platinum dragons
Got my 1oz gold coin today, i know gold price today is high but i cant wait, this is a work of art
I like the sinuosity of the gold and platinum dragons more than the facial details of the silver one.

Perfect, breathtaking. ⚘️

I love the Perth Mint. I wish they were not so expensive here in America.
Beautiful coins buddy 👍🏻👍🏻
I can't wait to get my hands on that
I like it 👍
Where can I buy it?
much prefer the design of the gold & platinum coins, also why the Queen ?

Chinese dragons are water dragons, unlike European fire dragons.

Is the 2024 Gold design ugly?
In silver we agree, the gold & platinum is nice though!
If its ugly then make your own design of the dragon that will please you.
