Hello tatro I have a 65 panhead with points ignition can you please recommend a uprated coil as I think mine is weak am I right in thinking that the original is a 5 ohm coil the manual doesn't seem to state seems to faul the plugs I have adjusted the carb leaner than specified in the manual linkert m74b regards Alan from the UK.
just stop being a dumbass and loosen the pinch bolts some. i didn't want the top tree to move any so that i could see if the fork stem moved to where i wanted it to be. if i just loosened up the bolts halfway it would have been alot easier on me and the nuts. see, i do show all my mistakes too. tatro
@TatroMachine oh, it's just a typical answer. You know, most of the terrible accidents happens with very experienced workers. It's not some fate or evil will -- it's just a statistics and probability that increases every single freaking time when all ends well.
Good work

the manual is only for starters. you have to adjust the carb to what works best. 5ohm is the correct coil.

Good work, flip your tool on the next fork. Will make nut removal easy.

Dealing with such a metal parts bare feet isn't safe you know unless you really forget how to curse and really want to remember.
