That United pilot near the beginning had already mentally ordered his first drink at the hotel bar and landed that like a boss.
That's clearly Singapore Airlines. Not sure how you can mistake it for united. Maybe you should get your eyes checked.

When happy hour is about to end and aint nobody got time for a go around.
I think he had/has a Swiss girlfriend in the Airport Hotel...
Stay close by, watched on FR24, listened to live ATC, some interesting evenings. Worst evening was about 11pm, winds were 30G55, plenty go arounds, many diversions, a few to Geneva, and some to Milan...which was winds calm!!
Landing under those conditions requires great skill. Kudos to those pilots!

Found myself often holding my breath while watching these challenges. Enjoyed this GREAT and BEAUTIFUL film. Your camera movement in this stormy weather is amazing. The part near the end showing that the storm was soon leaving Zurich is also my favorite!!!

I don’t know what kind of a wind gust that A320 at 4:50 got, but that had to be over 120km/h, they got shunted of the approach path by a good 50-80 feet, crazy stuff

For any pilots that watch, upon landing is there a speed similar to V1 or VR that predictably eliminates/reduces the gusting effects against the plane? As one who flies very frequently, I find these videos fastinating and I'm not sure why.

Amazing pilots, we really do need them more then we think! I have just started a UA-cam channel dedicated to plane spotting and travel etc and it would mean the world if you can check me out, if not it’s cool but it would be appreciated.
