      Thanks Victoria!
      It was a ton of digging but to see these koi swim with soo much more space then my other above grounds makes it a completely different experience. Thanks for staying plugged in! Many more vids to come.

    I’m strapped on space, what you LLC you recommend as a minimum size for a few koi. I may be stuck with a 10x4 and am trying to stretch the width.

    my husband copied your idea for the gravel filter in our indoor sump for the goldfish that we brought in for the winter, and it made all the difference in the world. The water has never been cleaner! Thanks for the videos.

    Just recently got into angelfish. I got extremely lucky and went to a "P" store about 2 1/2 weeks ago and picked up 3 full grown angels. the guy said that the two zebras i grabbed were a pair so i figured why not. This past weekend I woke up Saturday to see them cleaning the walls of the tank and by 10 am they were laying. Unfortunately i lost all of them, but I'm not giving up. They are in their own tank now and I'm hoping to have them lay again and again and again. I found your channel this morning and watched everything you have. LOTS of good info and I look forward to learning more from you, Mike. Keep it up

      @MikesFishRoom1  8 років тому

      Hey Justin! Awesome! I had a treasure find at petsmart 1 time. My zebra pair! I could tell they were a pair and the employees couldnt. Lol got them for $15! Don't be discouraged. If your turning the lights out at night,and they have eggs, they will eat them every time. If you get to the point where the eggs just won't become wigglers, you might have to hatch the eggs separate. Where you can use chlorinated tap and hp to sterilize the water. Keep me posted. Good luck!

    Great to see ya back!! I wish I could hand dig a pond like that, but sadly my back would NEVER let me do that. Heck I cant even dig out the outdoor hydrant I have for my chickens that froze up one winter and split the pipe.
    Keep up the great work!!!

    Great looking pond!! I have a 450 gallong pound a 200 gallong breed pound. Now in a bigger area I'm planning it to be around 2100 gallon. But I want to do a bottom filtration. So kind of nervous about that.

    Dude, that pond is unreal! You'd be able to do a huge series of vids just on that alone! I just found your channel recently and I've watched all your vids but noticed you've been MIA for 4 months, hope things are alright mate. Your channel is definitely the most under rated aquarium channel on UA-cam and I've seen a lot and been watching em for several years. Hope you're all good bro and we can look forward to some new vids soon.

      Thanks for watching! How do they look? Are they skinny? Does their poop look normal? I've had problems with younger Angels getting heximita. Might have mis spelled that. Lol
      Go by body language and physical activity. Clamped fins, hiding at the bottom, etc.

      You know that's a good question. I had a Marble pair with a zebra and their marbles came out darker then her. I wouldn't be surprised to just hard to tell if you don't know their exact genetic makeup. I even had zebras produce 1 really dark charcoal colored zebra out of around 400 fry.
