  • C. Vision Productions takes you back to July of 2012 to view CP’s HH21 Camden Job in Minnesota as the crew works on the north side of Minneapolis along the former Soo Line passenger main, commonly known as the “Camden Line”. The train was powered by two classic EMD MP15AC locomotives, SOO 1540 (former Milwaukee Road bandit), and CP 1404. We’ll follow them throughout the evening as they switch industries across the entire line, including Alliance Steel Service, Re-Alliance Iron & Metal, Northern Metal Recycling, the Star Tribune, GAF, and Lakes Gas. The experienced crew makes quick work of their assigned switching, and is heading back to Humboldt before the sun sets. These locomotives no longer work for Canadian Pacific, but they are here for you to enjoy in this C. Vision video presentation.

I sure miss seeing those EMD "Buttheads". I always liked them; they were something totally different and they usually were moving slowly enough that a person could study them in more detail as they passed by. Thanks for this video. It is a delight.

Quite a collection of fallen flags in this -- the SOO/MILW switcher and MoPac, CNW and SOO gondolas, a Wisconsin Central hopper. Plus the DME and SOO hoppers on the mainline train at 22:45

I really like all those EMD SW and MP switchers, they’re really important to any railroads. Sad to know that these 2 switchers don’t work for CP anymore. I’m guessing they’re either retired or working on a different road.

MP15DC or AC models need to get more attention. They mark the last of the true switcher locomotives after the SW1500 series.

Agreed! They are interesting units. And the crews at CP/SOO loved them. However, the units they have today are equipped with air conditioning (mostly GP20C ECOs), so not sure which unit would win in a vote.

This is a great video. I became more of a SOO LINE fan after my visit from TORONTO Canada & a purchase of another Video by STEEL RAIL VIDEOS TITLE: "RAIL FANNING IN ONTARIO" My discovery of CP RAIL along with SOO LINE on the Canadian side right After that trip I went to my Hobby shop & bought a GP 38 to GP 40 SOO LINE by ATHEARN in HO scale. back in the 1990's. After CP merged with SOO Line I was twice more impressed with the ex- Milwaukee Road colors MP 15 patch job weathered/ prime for grime SOO line. ATHEARN immediately released that one. I never got it Not even the LONG ISLAND RAILROAD version. Last but not least Your video also reminds me of CLEAR BLOCK PRODUCTIONS of their INTO THE 90's series of SOO LINE. They also did GRAND TRUNK (GT). I Truly as a rail fan enjoyed this one as i want the 2 MP 15 I viewed in this video in HO & O scale. The mainline freights were a delight to watch..... except for the graffiti. However this is an enjoyable video & gets a 5 star.Thanking you for this fine presentation. Extremely very well done. 🎥👍✅👋👋👋👋👋⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🏀⚫🔴⚪

Nice to see switch engines working, so much more interesting to watch than the mainline freights that rush by at various speeds (not that there is anything wrong in watching them though). Are any of the industries seen here still rail-served, or have they gone over to the dark-side (road transport)? Great video and 'hello' from the UK.

These MP15AC switchers are NOT Canadian units! They were built for the Milwaukee Road. I like ALCo and F-M switchers a lot better than the EMD MP15 units!

The New SD 70s should've all came out as Heritage units with all Milwaukee Road colors . They would look Badass . I like seeing guy's i used to work with back in 1997 in St. Paul Yard , Or on Road Job's.
