Burnie, your vlog quickly became my favorite show on Rooster Teeth. It's weird even calling it a "show". It doesn't ever feel produced or written: it's just genuinely you. And we need more of that. I miss the old days of youtube with just normal everyday vloggers. I feel like we lost that somewhere.
My girlfriend and I had a blast at RTX. We didn't get to say hi to any of the RT team personally but we did get into all the panels we wanted to see (Million Pounds Although, RWBY, RT Animation and Voice Acting) so close enough. I think the highlight for me was Miles singing the Camp Camp theme live. Can't wait for the next one in the UK.
Absolutely loved the part where the audience were singing God Save the Queen!! SO GOOD! Also noticed Ellie has a crown tattoo on her arm, that is a true patriot! Love it!
Yeah I love Ellie, hard not to, but she's kind of taken over the Burnie vlogs. Should have just made a new show for her directly following the performance review video with all the training vids and whatnot. She seems like one of the most well received newer faces in Rooster Teeth, I'm sure it would do well.
Just want to say a quick thank you for bringing RTX to my far landscape. I was bummed I didn't get to meet ya Burnie, but regardless had an amazing time. Looking forward to next year. Onward and upward!
i actually met burnie at rtx london was such an awesome and nice guy, asked how i was and if i was enjoying the convention, ended up getting a really nice photo and my own personalised cards against humanity card
Out of all of the RTXs I have been to, London has to be my favourite so far (despite going to the fewest number of panels during the event). I finally got to meet Barbara and Lindsay and say thank you for them being a part of RWBY. And then watching the first chapter of RWBY volume 5 with friends, and talking to a bunch of amazing cosplayers at both the RWBY cosplay meets.
Had such a blast at RTX London. Thanks to RT for making my first Convention awesome! My personal highlights were the Writers Block Party and the Live Action and Day 5 Panels. I mean when you get a free T-shirt from Day 5 you know it's been a good experience!
Ellie is by far the cutest rooster in the roosterteeth crew now! Sorry guys but ya gotta love her! I'm so glad that you hired her Burnie and I love you all still!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don’t know when I’ll be able to come an rtx, so I’m so incredibly happy that one of the last things That Burnie is doing is at pax Australia. I’ve never seen Burnie, never met him even though I’ve had multiple chances to. I finally decided to go to something, to see one of the men that I’ve revered and modelled myself after for years, and I’m so grateful that he makes this announcement now. I’ll definitely make the most of it and absorb every word
Burnie your not going to read this but your a true inspiration to everyone in this community I hope I can meet you and the rest of the guys at RT at some point in my life.
Burnie, to get the foam in the milk, you have to hold the container of milk down to where the tip of the aerator (stick thing) is right near the surface of the milk. The longer you hold it in that position, the more foam you get.
If your coffee maker is anything like the one we use at work (looks kinda similar), there may be a knob with a little picture of water with steam on it you turn to add boiling water to the little espresso shot it gives you. Makes it an Americano, basically regular coffee. If I can manage that, I'm sure you can too Burnie.
Burnie!!!! If it's not too much trouble do you think you could do a Burnie Blog or maybe even a mini series of what all exactly goes into prepping, setting up and running an RTX con? I've always loved behind the scenes stuff and I think seeing what goes exactly into running a con would be SUPER cool!!!!
We Brits are a bit funny about being called European. Think of it like this. Its like calling Canadians and Mexicans from North America. Its technically true but they probably prefer to be referred as their own country
I attended RTX London as a weekend pass holder and I had an absolute blast, I'm seeing a lot of comments referencing the "massive issues" with the convention and I think a lot of it is just people salty about not getting into their favourite panel. You're delusional if you rock up to an event like RTX London thinking that you're going to see everything you want to see. I had to cut multiple panels out of my schedule because of massive queues which was disapointing sure, but that's just the way it goes. The Guardians and Roosterteeth did an incredible job creating solutions to queueing issues on the fly. It certainly wasn't perfect but it was a first time event and I imagine they learned a hell of a lot, I'm sure the next one will be 10 times as good. And to address the specific issue of people putting bags on seats at the main stage, if you saw somebody holding a seat for more than 10 minutes, you could have easily told a guardian and they would have given you the seat no questions asked. I saw Ellie running all around the place filming constantly so I was kind of hoping for a bit more convention footage than this Burnie! :P
So sad that I missed the Million Pounds Although Panel. I couldn't go because I was in the Geoff and Gus signing but my friends went and said it was brilliant.
Maybe you'll see this, maybe you won't. But, a few tips on making a good cappuccino. First, and this goes for all espresso-based drinks (aside from straight espresso itself), you want to get that espresso into the drink as quickly as possible. It's recommended you don't let it sit for more than 15 seconds before being added to your drink. So, steam your milk *before* you brew the espresso, if at all possible. Second, for a good amount of foam in your steamed milk, you have to steam near the surface of the milk. If you're just letting the steamer wand sit in the bottom of the pitcher the whole time, all you're doing is making hot, slightly watered-down milk, which will result in a latté, not a cappuccino. You have to work the end of the wand up near the surface of the milk to get all those tiny little bubbles in there! The more time you spend with just the tip of the wand submerged, the more bubbles you'll get, and the more foam. We won't get into the size of the bubbles, as your machine might not be able to control what makes that happen too well. It's ok, it'll still be much better. And third, while that looks like a pretty fancy espresso machine, I have no idea how good a shot it can pull. Good espresso relies upon several variables being right. You have to get good beans, ground to the right size, of course. That's any coffee, though. What makes espresso is the heat of the water, and most importantly, the pressure at which it is brewed. It's gotta be pretty high up there. It's one of the reasons that professional espresso machines are so big; they have to be able to handle pretty high heat and pressure, as well as be able to perform consistently, day in and day out, for thousands and thousands of shots. So, assuming your machine can pull a good shot (which is possible, for sure), you need to steam your milk before you pull the shot(s), and get that wand just barely in the milk for the good foam. Then pull your shot(s) and add the milk as soon as you can. You'll get a much better capp that way, promise. Hope this helps! Source: was a barista for a while, many years ago.
I was an international student and had been in the UK for 6 years, like 3 years in London. This year I was essentially kicked out of uni after being backstabbed by my "friends" and basically deported getting deported, is when RTX London happens....sigh.... good thing I didn't get the tickets when they were announced because I was too busy wasting my time revising for exams that are now worthless. The B-roll footage of Trafalgar Square and the London eye was a bit upsetting because I used to walk past those places every day to get to uni....
You HAVE to go to all of the RTXs. You're Burnie. You are THE Micheal "Burnie" Burns. People go to the cons, just for you.The other people are just bonus points.
Burnie, your vlog quickly became my favorite show on Rooster Teeth. It's weird even calling it a "show". It doesn't ever feel produced or written: it's just genuinely you. And we need more of that. The Million Pounds Although panel was SO awesome to experience!! Great start to my first RTX
2 minutes and 8 seconds of pure Burnie goodness! I think most of us would just like to see a "A Day in the Life of Burnie Burns" video!
My girlfriend and I had a blast at RTX. Yaaayyy. As much as I enjoy the Ellie episodes, I really missed Burnie and actual updates.
Yeah I love Ellie, hard not to, but she's kind of taken over the Burnie vlogs. Man that camera quality is beautiful, minus the shaky cam, but still man I love the visuals in your vlogs
RTX London was so much fun. I am so glad I was able to be there. thank you guys so much for making it such a great experience
Burnie-centric vlogs are the only Burnie Blogs I care about.
When you don't have your interns to get you coffee so you have to do it yourself for the first time😂
Just want to say a quick thank you for bringing RTX to my far landscape. I was bummed I didn't get to meet ya Burnie, but regardless had an amazing time. Looking forward to next year. Onward and upward!
watching burnie using the coffee machine made me laugh lol you have to aerate the milk to get the foam!
i actually met burnie at rtx london was such an awesome and nice guy, asked how i was and if i was enjoying the convention, ended up getting a really nice photo and my own personalised cards against humanity card
Meeting you was an honour!

>Sits in a Caravan
Literally the most British thing you can do, Burnie. \m/
Rock on man. You do you! As always you guys do the best and make the fans happy and thats all that matters. Rooster Teeth is the best!

2 minutes of Mr. Burns learning his coffee machine lol
Burnie is one of my favorite human beings... I could just sit and watch you try to figure out a coffee maker all day ^_^
London was more than happy to have you guys !
Burnie your not going to read this but your a true inspiration to everyone in this community I hope I can meet you and the rest of the guys at RT at some point in my life.

I swear Burnie can make anything interesting... he’s here just making coffee and I’m super into it....
The Burnie vlogs are my favorite content from Roosterteeth. :)

I now absolutely want an official burnie baristo show! That shit's hilarious.
Rtx London kinda broke my heart lol just stood up for hours inside a square that was taped on the floor
Burnie, I learned 6 different languages of code so that one day I can build a Computer company. Your story inspires me everyday.
when you make your coffee always steam the milk first, then pour the coffee. It prevents it from getting too bitter! friendly barista tips :)
Don't know how Ellie got that room singing 'God save the Queen', I think its fair to say most of us Brits aren't that patriotic
The proof that we are not as patriotic as people think, a few people like me did not remember what the second verse was
Goddammit, I totally admire Burnie. Such a cool dude.
What A Super Duper Awesome Vlog!!!! Great job!!! Loving it!!!
Burnie that intro was hilarious lol.
RTX London was my first rtx and I had a blast and came across from Ireland
If you ever do an RTX Chicago, I'll totally drive 6 hours to go.
People say UK isn't in Europe? It's not in the EU but it's still in Europe you sillys
ThatGuyOnUA-cam technically it’s still apart of the eu
Yeah, except the UK is still in the EU
Well, they're in the process of leaving, trying to negotiate the leaving expenses and all that fluff
but we'll always be in europe
We Brits are a bit funny about being called European. Think of it like this. Its like calling Canadians and Mexicans from North America. Its technically true but they probably prefer to be referred as their own country
That opening sequence was AMAZING!
I feel bad for Burnie, he has the best Assistant ever and she is so amazing, he know's she's going to get promoted to some higher position soon.
7:34 I think we need an Award for Burnie, that's gotta be the first time I've heard a U.S citizen properly pronounce Melbourne.
Watching Burnie try to make coffee was the highlight of my day 😂

Love you burn man
The beginning of this is like the first day of Bernie alone on mars
I hope it's RTX Canada, and I hope they have it in Calgary!!! I always see people wearing rooster teeth merch at Calgary Expo.
Greatest opening ever!!!
Thank you Burnie!
Unilad? Oh god why? They steal content and slap it on facebook
That interview will be the first legitimate content from unilad
And only legitimate content they will ever have
They actually buy the original person's video for next to nothing and make tons on the viwes and ad revenue.
being a barista, and seeing bernie use the espresso machine LOL
"I don't need people to help me grow up. I drink Malk"
That Malk is full of Vitamin R, don't throw it away!
"Cappuccino without milk is like...." it's an espresso burnie 😂
Man, Burnie is lookin svelte these days. Great.vlog brother.
I do love a good Burnie vlog
So sad that I missed the Million Pounds Although Panel. I couldn't go because I was in the Geoff and Gus signing but my friends went and said it was brilliant.
I managed to see you on the Writer's block panel and the RT podcast :)
ayy can't wait to see you at PAX!
IT'S AN ESPRESSO MACHINE! YOU MADE YOURSELF A LATTE.

I'm loving the idea of RTX Toronto 😊😊😊
I was an international student and had been in the UK for 6 years, like 3 years in London. ANOTHER VLOG BABY
2:13 that's me every morning with my coffee
I love Burnie
When coffee is life but it won't cooperate!
See you at PAX AUS!!!!!!!!!
Burnie Vlog- now starting with the rambling of an old man fighting with a coffee maker
I even find Burnie making coffee strangely entertaining
The one year that I'm in Canada to study and the first RTX London happens...guess I'll have to just really try hard to get to next years one
Matt complains about a lack of Flair, Burnie complains for lack of fluff
Was there a RT podcast at RTX London
RTX London! Completely missed missed this, was it advertised? Also no-one educated says the UK is not in Europe.
Berto Millseey It was. A lot
Colbeh Do you guys not watch Rooster Teeth content? O.o
I'm not aware of any advertisements unless they start "HEY EAST COAST"
They both have, in Off Topic and general Lets Plays
I advise you to join the RTUK group on Facebook as they will tell you when any events are coming up. So you don't miss it next time.
It's nice to see people singing their anthem like it's not an awful thing.
Am I the only one who would love to wake up next to Burnie every morning?
Loved that intro
The national anthem gave me goosebumps!
Shout out to everyone who was at the Million Pounds Although panel, the end was just the best xD
I wish he would have addressed some of their shortcomings at rtx London
there is a really good episode of Good Eats with Chef Alton Brown on Espressos may help with the espresso machine conundrum
Hope there is another RTX London
Gotta hold the milk heating nozzle just barely inserted into the milk in the jug .. it will be loud. Good content Mr Burns.
why didnt you guys come back to mcm London in October like last year it was great
Its like watching my grandpa trying to work out a new smartphone
speaking of Canada, when are yea coming to Toronto. we need Rooster Teeth frosted.
True success in life is owning a coffee machine that is too fancy for you to know how to operate. #goals
As a barista, that coffee machine intro hurt my soul.
I hate trying to find the song but it sucks how shitty lullabies just pop up and not the actual song, anyone have a link?
as a barista, watching Burnie make that coffee hurt me
Practice making the coffee more! it becomes like a ritual and it's really relaxing.
Where did Burnie film the bit where he is talking to the camera? Looks like some really cool trailer or something.
Its his new buss, last weeks vlogg was when they showed it off.
Wait there is a Pax Australia? Also why do all the conventions seem to happen in Melbourne or Sydney, why not go to a good part of Australia?
bernie figuring out an espresso machine! lol
What is that, a coffee machine you think?
STEEEEVE!!!
You HAVE to go to all of the RTXs. You're Burnie. You are THE Micheal "Burnie" Burns. People go to the cons, just for you.The other people are just bonus points.
