For how simple they are, Burnie's vlogs are some of my favorite RT videos. He's so good at making an explanation or moment interesting, and giving it the feel of a high production video.
It's so weird looking at Rooster Teeth now and thinking about how this literally started out as like a room full of a few friends all just dicking around. Years later, they're doing this now. Granted I know this is a movie set and it's not Rooster Teeth, but look. Look at Burnie, look at Michael. Who remembers Michael back on his own channel when he was basically like a kid? Compared to now I mean.
F I know exactly what you mean. Been watching RT since they first started and grew up with them. And Michael on his own channel, causing hell. Me and Michael are the same age I believe and it's weird to watch everything turning into what you see now.
As someone who's been studying media for 8 years and wants to work on film/tv sets, vlogs like this are the most interesting for me. I loved watching it, but now I wish I was on that set.
"Martini Shot is a Hollywood term that describes the final shot set-up of the day. According to Dave Knox, author of the film industry slang guide Strike the Baby and Kill the Blonde, the Martini Shot was so named because "the next shot is out of a glass", referring to a post-wrap drink." Straight from Wikipedia. You're welcome.
As someone who wants to get in the film industry, I freaking loved this vlog! wish I could be on set learning and experiencing everything. Can't wait for laser team 2
I really am proud of where these guys are at now. First it was just a few college students in an apartment making rvb, now it's almost 200-300 employees. Making full films and having the longest running Internet podcast. Well done on your success guys. :)
As someone getting a degree as a film technician right now, it's so awesome getting to see a behind the scenes look at a film set and knowing what so many of the things are they're talking about before Bernie explains it.
Impressive vloging skills and behind the scenes on set gives off the energy of the day very well. I never knew I wanted to be on a movie set before this vlog. #FoMo
love the Vlogs burnie. Keep the up love to see some more of them, and to be fair after the first 6 episodes your stil doing alot better, #OnTheSpot. Keep up the good work can waith for the next one
Don't mean to be a stickler Burnie but on Location is so much more authentic in terms of filming. Sorry currently studying film in college. Can't wait to see it!
I'm excited to see Lazer Team 2. I loved the first one. I hope marketing is working on making action figures to sell this time around. I still want figures of Alan Ritchson in the super suit and the make-shift police gear one.
Burnie I feel your pain, with regards to that snack cart. I eat constantly throughout the day, if I was anywhere near that cart I would go crazy. A lot of road cycling is the reason I don't weigh 8 tonnes hahaha. Awesome video, cheers!
Funny. I recently completed my first film as a stuntman in Los Angeles, and then Rooster Teeth uploads this. To all those interested in breaking into the film industry: it is JUST like this.
Rami I'd assume cost, construction time, and maintenance are the biggest issues, but if you have the budget and time then it definitely seems like it would be worth the investment.
Burnie just seems like such a happy guy. Good for him.
After just watching Laser team for the first time a few days ago, I can say I am EXTREMELY excited for the second one! ^^
Linky Okumura thanks!
Ive been wanting to see it just dont know where its available besides youtube red or something like that
Love the vlogs burnie! I really appreciate that you take the time to share these moments with us

Are you sure it's Ox? I would think it's Aux since she does the audio.
Ox cause of her name and Ox because of the pun
that went over your head, didn't it?
I'm pretty sure it would sound like Ksu, because Oksana is a variation of the name Ksenia which is also Ksusha
i love the internet
Her name is slavic, I wonder if she's Russian 😶

As someone who is studying filmmaking at uni, it's really cool to see what it's like behind the scenes. Thanks for the insight Burnie

Burnie's vlogs always leave me with a smile on my face at the end!
I really loved Burnies' blogs.. a shame he stopped doing them.

Gotta Love Rooster Teeth

I absolutely love the music played during this vlog
i love matt, we dont see him enough and it upsets me
"Hurry up and wait." My favorite industry phrase.
So excited to see Nichole Bloom for that brief second - good job Colton bringing her along for the ride!
Hello, thanks for all the amazing updates and for showing us how much goes into Lazer Team and a project of this size.
Impressive vloging skills and behind the scenes on set gives off the energy of the day very well. I never knew I wanted to be on a movie set before this vlog. #FoMo
This is amazing!!! I aspire to be a future cinematographer and I absolutely loved this!!! Thank you Burnie!!!!
Having seen Lazer Team one and 2, this was super cool to see.
Even the music in your vlogs make me inspired and tearful as hell.
This was so much more interesting than I expected it to be.
Honestly didn't think I'd come to fall in love with the sound girl. but she is a goddamn beauty to humanity.
Freakin love the vlogs! For some reason it relaxes me.
#RipGoldenGus
Fantastic behind the scenes. You just earned another ticket!
This is THE MOST EDUCATIONAL VIDEO I've ever seen. Thanks Burnie!
love the Vlogs burnie. Keep the up love to see some more of them, and to be fair after the first 6 episodes your stil doing alot better, #OnTheSpot. Keep up the good work can waith for the next one
7:09 aaaaayyyyyyy, I love Nicole Bloom
This seems like alot of fun, super stoked for the next movie!
One of the best Vlogs yet! Good work Burns!
So excited for another Lazer Team. Was very happy to have been a backer for the first!
I knew her face looked familiar... and it was driving me insane.... She was on Shameless! Omg!!!! So excited for this movie
Super Excited!
so many beautiful people
I don't know if it's been said but I love the happy feel of the endings of these Vlogs. Please keep the music with the outro, I've missed it.
Thanks for all the hard work you put into these videos for us :]
I love Colton Dunn and Nichole Bloom from Superstore. I can't wait for season 3.
Must be a pretty cool feeling for Burnie knowing all of this exists because of him.
The music is lit in all his vlogs man. You're giving some paid youtubers a run for their money with that editing as well
9:30 C'mon, Burnie, OWN your crappy puns, ya big wuss!
I love the jingle at the end of the vlogs
I got to spend a day on the set of Lazer Team 2 as an extra. It was a really fun set to be on.
absolutely love watching stuff like this always so interesting to see and hear what's going
I like these vlogs where he shows us small little bts stuff that he can show like the jobs people hvae
I love the ending music to these vlogs a lot lol
I can't wait for the second movie to come out!

Cool video Burnie. love behind the scenes stuff
I CANNOT WAIT FOR LAZER TEAM 2!!!!
Passed half way through production that's amazing
i love burnie's vlogs
The very beginning Burnie already flubbing. Hahaha
"I'm headindin-"
Why does "Sarge" have a blue shirt on?
Or Sarge in disguise as a dirty blue.
Balc0ra's Gaming or them dirty blues have sarge under mind control
I like the chill beats. Reminds me of Chillhop :)
As a production sound mixer who is just starting out in my career, I am jealous of Ox's cart. 🙀
Isn't that the woman who played Emily in Until Dawn? - 7:07
SirMonkeySuit yes. She does play Emily.
Thought she looked familiar. Noice!
They both look like characters in the show Superstore o_o
Worst character in that game far and away. Soooo annoying.
Also in shameless I believe
Is that Amanda from Shameless at 7:07!?
I feel like I probably rival the editors of Lazer team in how many times I've seen the movie. I can't wait for this to come out!
Don't mean to be a stickler Burnie but on Location is so much more authentic in terms of filming. Sorry currently studying film in college. Can't wait to see it!
Lazer team 2 is set in space. An on location movie set in space would be very expensive.
I'm excited to see Lazer Team 2. I loved the first one. I hope marketing is working on making action figures to sell this time around. I still want figures of Alan Ritchson in the super suit and the make-shift police gear one.
Miss your vlogs Burns!
You know there is this amazing professional stuntman you guys may wanna hire, Lawrence Sonntag, does that name ring any bells?
I thought he was too busy with his band.
Matt looks so cute in his little glasses
I didn't know "Hurry up and wait" transferred to the film industry as well! Learn something new everyday!
Burnie I feel your pain, with regards to that snack cart. I eat constantly throughout the day, if I was anywhere near that cart I would go crazy. A lot of road cycling is the reason I don't weigh 8 tonnes hahaha.
Awesome video, cheers!
I love these blogs keep it up b man
Funny. I recently completed my first film as a stuntman in Los Angeles, and then Rooster Teeth uploads this.

wait... LAZER TEAM 2!!!!!!!!
Man Burnie, you and Michael are looking good!
It's crazy to think that all this started with a few friends in a room with a xbox lol
Really cool Burnie
IM SO EXCITED
The drone shots are soo top
new roosterteeth crush im ready girl
Yeah! Lazer Team 2!
Anyone happen to know the music at the beginning of the vid? So peaceful
Filmin OVER EAR !!!!!
3:58 sounds like a bunch of Gavins with a bunch of grapes in their mouths shout "Eh!"
Million Dollars But you can now hear the negative thoughts people have about you around you, forever.
Jack Ball I hear them already, so I'll take that.
Minus the million dollars, that's basically social anxiety.
The last shot is called a martini because it refers to the saying that "the next shot is in the glass".

I have that exact same sweater
Oksana is sooo hot.
RisingAssassin 100% agree
Then he introduced Phillip like right after her, who was yet another attractive peep. This set is just full of attractive people apparently...
Yet none of them are actors in the film!
Why did u stop making achievements you're the best at it please make more!
Oksana is drop dead gorgeous
you almost got an upskirt of that girl walking down the stairs behind you lol
I just bought a bunch of posters from Roosterteeth, I'm just waiting to get some wearable merch, and hopefully see lazer team :D
So rooster teeth, when do u think you might finish the movie because I'm too hyped for it
What are the disadvantages of using sets over locations?
Rami I'd assume cost, construction time, and maintenance are the biggest issues, but if you have the budget and time then it definitely seems like it would be worth the investment.
Fun fact: Christopher Nolan uses sets.
I'm really looking forward for lazer team 2 because I loved lazer team
OF COURSE MICHAEL AND GAVIN SHARE A DRESSING ROOM BECAUSE WHY NOT OML
9:25 Thanks auto captains
Ox 😍😍
