Flip flops, shorts, power tools and lumber is all you need to do this project and go to the ER.
Not really, it's 100 degrees here and none of this was heavy work or required any heavy machinery.

If you are gonna put your fingers in a saw blade I doubt steel toe boots will help

That’s a stool. Sill is on outside.
Either way, moat people call it a sill on the inside as well.
