    Not bad, but try to work on your timing a little bit. There's a lot going on in this song, so I know it can be a little tricky.

      I've learned and recorded it two days later, and the timing was a tricky pony, so i can hear now that there were some mistakes.
      Maybe i'll record it later and it will be perfect :)

    That tricky run in Pt1 - it takes some practice! I'm not much better, it's a matter of letting the delay do a lot of the work.
    Nice tones!

    Cool tones. I would like to see a demonstration of your rig to explain the sounds. I'd also LOVE to see a proper demonstration of that amp by itself! So little information on Hiwatt amps around...

      so true. They sound so good too. The perfect middle ground between Vox and Marshall crunch, and cleans rivalling Fender. I swear, they'd be more popular if they'd market better.

    Are you able to run the amp at the proper volume to achieve the tone you want in your bedroom? How loud can it get?

    Hi, what is your drive pedal please? ^^

    • @PinkFloydish
      @PinkFloydish  8 років тому

      The drive i used on this demo was the Xotic SL Drive, but not my favorite for this kind of sound.
      This best (to my ears) for low gain overdrive is the JHS Morning Glory.

      Michael Smith yeah but that's not Roger or David singing so it doesn't sound very good. The dude singing in this backing track can't really sing at all, but great playing though! Cheers!

  • @NWStuff-yl5jm
    @NWStuff-yl5jm 3 роки тому

    So much money dumped into all kinds of gear and you can't even play in time or do research on his damn tone. Brick 1 is literally bridge + middle with delay and compression. THAT'S IT. Happiest Days is the same but with only bridge. Brick 2 is only compression on bridge + middle. The solo wasn't even done on single coils and it had no delay on it. Stop using Gilmourish. You clearly never paid attention to the way Gilmour even plays the songs. The strumming is way off and the phrasing is all over the places with tons of unnecessary muted notes.
