Your symmetry is incredible! Much better than many pinstripers I have watched on UA-cam. I wish you were closer to Yuma, AZ I would have you do my ‘65 El Camino.
I just kept saying out loud as I watched..." This chick is a gangster man...she is gangster "...ha, amazing to watch
bahahha don't know about all that but thank you
👋 Jen,
I’m just so happy to see the trade of hand lettering , pen striping , leafing is alive and well.
Being old school for so many years of being a sign painter 👩🎨 I already know you have some mad skills 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩!!!!!
Lefty too👍
Lori
thank you~
Always amazing and inspiring! Thanks for sharing!
Hi jen you have a very good skill I love to be able to do what you do this summer I going to try this is not a Artists but I work on cars and rebuild and repair old cars for my self
Imma decided being a super cool pinstriper-artist-person-type now. I'll call my style [non-comformist] which means unsymetric & shakey af. Your stuff looks really pretty.
Hi Jen, pink haired auto-resto apprentice here ❤️ Love your work! I've painted cars and portraits, Never pinstriped, but keen to learn. Looks very difficult/intimidating though. Xx
Love that you brace your wrist with your free hand, I have to do that too when painting portraits, otherwise I get the shakes 😅
Watching you pinstripe this car is cool. Having a steady hand required a lot of patience.
Hey Jen, your work is always so clean and well done. The Merc looks really good, great job as always. Thanks for the video.
Kerja bagus kawan...

Wooow amazing work !!!
Hell yeah
Great video
Wow you rock
🔥🔥🔥🔥
This is like a meditation for folks that like to work with their hands, IMO. I watch a lot of various artist's videos, and always want to try the craft I'm watching. I don't think my coffee habit would be conducive to pinstriping, however.
Speaking of hands, do you ever have cramping or pain in your joints?
Amazing work - I can't look away! 🙂
hey thanks for watching! i do not get pain in my hands from painting, but if i'm drawing i do, its weird
Hi Jen, love your work. Clean, precise, and always well designed. I’m sure finding a good place for the camera can be a challenge at times. That garage doesn’t look like there’s much room for moving around. But your footage is great and I love seeing your designs develop in real time. Keep up the awesome videos here on UA-cam, you’re an inspiration.
Thank you ! Yes that garage was really tight! And I work so "on top" of my work it can get tricky filming most of the times
Hi Jen,I love your work. Jen when you go to a job like in the video, is it the customer's design or yours. Also when you travel do you charge for milage or do you have a flat rate?
Hey Jen, as someone new to pinstriping may I ask, before you start do you clean the car body itself and if so what is appropriate as not to effect the cars actual paint job? Mesmerising work and so eloquent in your teaching style, huge appreciation for you and the channel 🔥
if the car is painted with automotive paint single stage or base/clear(even flat clears) i'll clean it with a glass cleaner first, then a automotive wax and grease remover, then denatured alcohol
Badass...What kind of bottles do u use for 1 shot paint?
Nobody'd ever believe me when I'd tell 'em, but you gotta have eyes on the sides of your head to do this stuff; you gotta see not only what you're doing, but what you've already done and how that relates to what you're gonna do. They tell me that a little cannabis helps settle you into that spot, but I wouldn't know anything about that . . .
What do you use for you markings? Will the marking do anything to the paint later on?
Looking good part one. Did you "wing it" with the design or have a general
concept in mind before you stared?
Totally winged it which is what I really love to do
Hey girl! Lovn what u doing! Question, where do u get the hardener? I found some on ebay for 70$ eeeek! Keep striping gal!
Hiya. You can actually use hardener from tractor supply or just grab some from your auto paint supplier. I personally do not shop on ebay, if you are in the states look up coast airbrush or mack brush co they both sell online, and might have the little can of hardener from 1shot if you wanted to stick with their brand, also dick blick sells it too
Jen been practice and pinstriping for about 10 months now do you ever use a gri?
you can see what i use for a grid here those little white dots are what i use on vehicles if the design is large, i find it is better than drawing out a grid keeping the cars surface in mind.
Where did you get your apron?
this is a womens carhartt that they no longer made which is a shame, and other aprons are usually way too big :(
What happens if you mess up on a job like this? What can you do?
I would wipe off with mineral spirits and try again :)
Pull a little early
