- Announcing the winner of the Hypermax 4500 canister filter.
Thanks to everyone took the time to enter and there were some beautiful pictures of tanks sent as part of the entry requirements which I really enjoyed looking at.
I will be giving some more aquarium related gear away on my 'PondGuru' channel after Christmas as well as outdoor gear on my 'Thousand Yard Stare' channel.

When I told my wife the news and what it's capable of filtering, I could see the sheer look of horror in her eyes. It was fun watching this. My name (Dipo T) got well and truely butchered on the initial attempts...LOL. However the final attempt was spot on...anyway, congrats to the winner!!! I've learnt a lot watching your videos and all my external filters have been pimped based on your pimp my filter series, and have your biohome ultimate in them. They have kept my nitrates very low in my heavily stocked african cichlid tank.
It was great watching him squirm 😂

Good Evening will the hypermax fit into the juwel rio 350 L cabinet ?
(my other channel) As far as I can remember the height of the 4500 was around 50cm plus pipes but without knowing the dimensions of the Juwel 350 cabinet I've got no idea if the filter will fit.
It would be best to check with Aquael to find out how much height is needed to accommodate the filter then measure the available space in the cabinet. If you don't have the cabinet yet you will need to find out how much space is available for an external filter from Juwel.
excellent content.. thank you how can i turn a fluval 407 into a water polisher filter only? HELP
If you don't need much biological filtration from a 407 just fill it with foams and carbon in the upper tray if necessary. If you use a fine white pad it would be in the top tray or in the second tray down if you're using carbon in top tray.
