Wow...I cannot help but cry when I listen to this song! Yesterday, I saw the movie with Austin Butler about Elvis' life. After that movie, I started missing Elvis so much again as if he had passed away only yesterday. The movie was incredible ❤️
This man sang thousands of songs in his lifetime and his voice never faltered, just as he sounded when he started. Elvis could sing absolutely every possible song. He is the King for a reason. I didn't realize this until later in my life when I finally discovered him. Too bad I wasn't alive when he was living, seeing him live would have been amazing. God bless Elvis. He poured his heart out on everything even to the end. Thanks for the video!
My husband and I saw Elvis in Vegas in his prime...and then again in Vegas about 3 months before he died. What a performer and singer! I loved both performances of his that we saw. He is forever the KING! 👍👍. No one can compare...
Elvis along side Freddie mercury are the only 2 singers I’ve never heard miss a note. They always hit it and never missed, and when you consider they were both very physical performers. It’s just insane they were flawless vocally.
He was incredibly sick, and he did it all to himself. I saw him in 1976, and I was in the third row, and I was stunned at how bad he looked. He looked worse than he did here!
I saw the movie on opening day and there are no words to describe what I just saw! Awesome performance by Butler, when you see it you will be speechless.
Just saw it last week! Austin Butler better win a Oscar for his phenomenal performance and not get robbed like how Joaquin Phoenix got robbed away from Oscar by his performance in walk the line!
Thankfully we have UA-cam so we can see and hear this beautiful man sing. The latest Elvis movie is a tribute to him. The actor did a fine job portraying him. Not an easy task. My God when I first saw this man's face and then heard his amazing voice. I was only 5. I am now 60. I still get goose bumps just looking at him. Hearing him sing is an experience that I cannot explain.
That performance was legendary because of the fact his health fading but his voice was powerful till the very end. I feel this performance was so good because he knew so he gave it his all👏
Elvis had become a drug addicted, obese, half-crazed man by this time... he looked like he was strung out and his hair/clothing attire looked like $h^t! Sad indeed... what a wasted life! He died while taking a $h^t of a heart attack... smh!
I received Moody Blue for Christmas the year before he died. I still have all of my mom's original 45 records from the 50s. There will never be a singer to match him.
Have turned into a massive Elvis fan since watching his movie yesterday, watching all his music on UA-cam What a Legacy ❤️ RIP Elvis, you will live forever x
Wonderful performance! Although it is a bit tough watching this knowing it is his last performance ever plus that he was in really bad health back then! Thank You Elvis for all the wonderful music you gave! Forever the king!🙏👍❤

@@thejeffyshow9722 we don't know that. The true is he had a lot of diseases, genetic diseases. It is sad that he passed at Young Age but comforting facto is that he become a legend - King in alive which is very rarely.
Imagine being the lucky recipient of the very last silk scarf that Elvis gave in his last live performance. Man, what a treasured keepsake that would be. Seeing him in that physical state less than two months before his death is sad, very sad. The voice till the very end was still powerful and moving. If only he could have changed just a few lifestyle habits, he could still have been with us today or at the very least lived a lot longer and ultimately retired when he wanted and been happy in retirement until his death much beyond his 42 years of age. Taken from us way too soon. Bless him. RIP.
Makes you wonder if that scarf wasn't sold on eBay some years later. However, I think it would be difficult to prove it's authenticity. Sill though, perhaps someone has it hanging in a shadow-box on their Livingroom wall as a heirloom.
I saw him in concert the day before this was taped in Kansas City. On Sunday I spent the day at our downtown airport waiting for him to arrive. (I tell everyone this but say I babysit his plane) My daughter and her friend were with me. We stood at the back of the limo as he got out. He turned and looked at our way and smiled. I promised my daughter and her friend I’d take them to see him the next Time he was in KC. As we all know that would never happen. But at least we have that Wonderful memory of him. I saw him 3 times in concert. My Mom sent me a sympathy card. When he passed away. I’ve Loved him since I was 11 and still do. I’m 77 now. I’ve been to Graceland several times. Everyone realized he was a massive drug and food addict. Everyone. The public saw him talk without making sense and get fat as shit. His entourage saw him be a drug addled mess. His doctors saw him be a drug addled mess and kept cutting him off. Tom Parker saw him as a drug addled mess and exploited him to bankroll his own gambling addiction. His ex wife saw him as a drug addled mess and left him. We all realized it. Where were you?

He was the King of Rock and Roll, and always will be. I grew up in that era, those days are gone forever young lady. You look young, you sure did miss a lot. I would not change the era I grew up and lived for anything thing in the world. I wasn't Prom King, or a football player, so I never fit in with the snobs, but I had music. Music was a comfort, and Elvis, The Beatles and everything that came after them was gold. All of my heros are dying, it is very sad.
This part of the movie made me cry. It's amazing how for the moment he was on the stage, he was able to become the music. His smile; his joy in the midst of so much pain. The movie was amazing; it's outward in cultural approach helped distinguish the movie from earlier movies on his life which can get redundant. It's focus on cultural appropriation versus influence was welcomed to reset the clock on myths gone wild. Loved the movie and love this performance.
In 30 years of being an Elvis fan I’ve never been able to watch this performance but that song at the end I’ve watched thousands of times and always brings tears to my eyes 😢 the man upstairs certainly broke the mould with Elvis and can produce anyone as good again! Undoubtedly the King and absolute legend.
Amazing piece of performance. An artist who was not obviously feeling well, performing a tune like that is a proof of dedication and love for the art of music. Not for the money. Amazing! And he is not the only one! Mind the Rolling Stones an etc...
I touched his soul and I cried. He knew he would'nt make so long, so he did tremendous job in final. This is the best voice and best song through my half century life.
I legit can't stop watching this. This was recorded the day before my 8th birthday. Elvis lived right down the street from my grandmother, only saw him one on the way home from the grocery store. He used to come to the gate to talk to fans. His funeral procession went past our place in midtown. Despite Elvis being everywhere growing up I didn't have a deep appreciation until I was older. This is absolutely heartbreaking but so wonderful to watch.
We were the same age and he was one of my favorites back then and even to this day. I got a little choked up during this thinking and wondering about the music this man had yet to perform. I've never gotten tired of listening to his music...music that we've been gifted with.
Been an Elvis fan since I was a kid. Never saw this performance til now. Wow. Literally crying knowing how much he meant to so many others. Wish I would’ve been able to seen a live performance by the KING 👑

Elvis died when I was only 5 months old. But it feels like he never died, as my parents kept his music alive for my whole childhood. My favourite to his day! The movie was excellent!
This is the finale of the wonderful movie "Elvis", moving seamlessly from Austin Butler's portrayal to Elvis himself. I wept almost uncontrollably. If you loved Elvis, see "Elvis".

Me too! I knew at some point in the movie that the director was going to include some real footage of Elvis, and the way he did it was just amazing. My throat closed up when I saw this in the theater; it was so heartbreaking but so beautiful at the same time.
Thank you who ever is responsible to put Elvis for us to see him for me there is no other like him ,Thank you he is not forgotten glad to hear his beautiful songs and to get to see him. Very handsome man he was. Thank you❤
Any time I hear him sing Unchained Melody or Can't Help Falling In Love it hits me. I started crying at the end of the film. The lyrics, combined with his powerful voice, resonate so much and he's so sincere when he sings. Gone way to soon, but hopefully he has been and is at peace.
2:37, when he goes into the high note it makes me shiver, you can see that he is giving all his force into that note just by seeing his expression and the sweat dripping from his forehead, he truly was the king of rock and roll
This clip is on a DVD that I have. Even though he was in poor health, he could still belt out a song effectively. He gave it his all right to the end. There'll never be another performer like Elvis. He's the greatest entertainer of all time. R.I.P. Elvis.❤️
Amazing how he continues to sing with no mic and the piano continues to play after his hands are nowhere near it. No doubt in my mind it's him singing along to an older recording he made and someone else is playing the piano

The lyrics “Wait for me I’ll be coming home, wait for me, my love, my darling…” have a deeper meaning coming so close to his death making his soulful words even more exquisitely beautiful. ❤️
During his last concert inJune 77 , He suddenly smiles of a short half secret smile , almost saying to his guys and to his public “do you see? I am and still will be The King till my last day”❤
Such an incredible talent - and so badly used by those around him. This clip is almost too painful to watch. The toll shown on his face from the years of being treated like a workhorse, poisoned with vast quantities of meds - and the fact that he could still sing like this. Just utterly incredible. The emotion in this performance is outstanding, which makes it all the more poignant.
My beautiful wife, Cheryl, who passed way 13 weeks ago after almost 54 years of marriage, and I loved this song. I cried in the theater when he sang this and "I Will Always Love You" while watching the movie "Elvis," the other day.

This song has been a top five favorite of mine. Then I saw Elvis's rendition, and now this is my all time favorite! The raw emotion he displays, his amazing and talented voice; his range - he was a great man, a kind soul, a fabulous person and a legondary performer, artist. I only wish I could have seen him live. But I was too young, and not aware of how talented he was. God knows what a great man he was. Maybe if I make it to heaven, I could meet him up there. And thank him for all the wonderful songs he sang. God bless him and his family!

I just love that smile he had just so sweet! He should have felt that we would ever forget. I am a black woman.. i love watching his movie. So handsome!! He will never be forgotten. He loved God too!
A true legend who will never be forgotten. Where would music be without Elvis ? When I was younger I didn't really appreciate how important he was. Then I watched the Beatles Anthology and saw Lennon and Mccartney saying that seeing Elvis on TV for the first time made them want to play guitar and follow in his footsteps. Most of the music I like probably wouldn't exist in the form it does without Elvis.
Tudo chega ao fim... triste, mas é o processo natural da vida. Feliz de quem viveu essa época maravilhosa. Um grande artista, que viveu o melhor dessa vida, que foi abençoado com um Dom maravilhoso para cantar. A vida pura e simples!

It's sad when a child loses his hero. Not the same like losing a loved family member, but feels almost like losing a close friend. I was a grown man when Chester from Linkin Park died, but he was my favorite singer when I was a teenager and I still drop a tear from time to time, when watch music videos of Linkin Park. He sang mostly about his inner pain and trauma...can't hear my hero of my teenage days without hearing him telling everyone how miserable he felt all the time. So, I guess I feel you.

Hello 👋 Karen how are you doing today?
WOW
As someone who got into Elvis later in live it really blows me away just how powerful his voice really was he is and always be the king
Elvis along side Freddie mercury are the only 2 singers I’ve never heard miss a note. They always hit it and never missed, and when you consider they were both very physical performers. It’s just insane they were flawless vocally.
Michael Jackson.
Steve Perry
Ronnie James Dio
Prince
You don’t listen to music much
He clearly was really sick and tired but still showed his unbelievable great talent that makes it a even greater performance.

You're absolutely right!
I disagree. Austin Butler did an outstanding performance! I saw the movie too.
@@cookingwithtommy you disagree but yet you say Austin did an outstanding performance? 🤔
@@CenationTroop It’s a joke. His said he did a awesome performance, I think he did better than awesome. You’d probably get it if I said it in person.
Wow bless u my friend is around that age. We love and agree with u. Goosebumps all my spine blues his soul .
He died while taking a $h^t of a heart attack... smh!
I think he knew the end was near.
Beautiful voice and the best smile, ever
I mean, the man was only 42 years old. Of course his voice was still strong.
@@JCITW777 I'll always love Elvis Presley, there will never be another king like him What a great strong voice
I received Moody Blue for Christmas the year before he died. I still have all of my mom's original 45 records from the 50s. There will never be a singer to match him.
We need to appreciate the man who was so focused and dedicated to holding that mic just right for Elvis
I Guess you're a country MUSIC lover?

You truly are the King! I’m a 80’s baby but I’ve listened to your music all my life . Absolutely beautiful Elvis no singers like you today!
Have turned into a massive Elvis fan since watching his movie yesterday, watching all his music on UA-cam
What a Legacy ❤️

What an amazing person he was !!! Despite all his illness, he came up with such a performance and beautiful smile. We love you, ❤❤❤❤ Elvis
Even in his worst state....his voice and performance ability never failed him :)
Wonderful performance! Although it is a bit tough watching this knowing it is his last performance ever plus that he was in really bad health back then! Thank You Elvis for all the wonderful music you gave! Forever the king!🙏👍❤

Watching my hero Elvis perform this song when he was so obviously unwell I've never been more proud of him. It underlines the reason why I have been & will forever be a devoted fan of Elvis Aaron.Presley!!!!
I watched it with my sister and two of her friends, we grew up with Elvis's music in our home,my mom had his records and always played them, my family really adored him and we were at a loss of his passing in 1977,I remember where i was and what i was doing to this day. The movie was just awesome, Austin did an amazing job. Thank you so much to the Presley family for sharing Elvis with us. Yes,Austin deserves an Oscar, big time. The cast did wonderful job,I'm a big Tom Hanks fan as well.

Legendary performance from a musical legend ,wish I had a time machine to go back and experience it first hand .
Jesus Christ loves you
If I had a time machine I would save him. 80s Elvis would have been epic.
That voice, that smile....what a shame that we lost this talent at such a young age.
He is so beautiful to me Hate killed him too much hate and envy.He did what he came to do
Well he would probably live longer if he didn’t take drugs

The first time was in 87 with my Mom and cousin. I could go on and on. Thank you for letting me tell my Sweet memories of my 1st Love. He will always in our ❤️

I was fortunate enough to take my mother to see Elvis Presley in February of 1977. March 1st, my mother passed away. Then in August of 1977, Elvis Presley had passed away. My mother loved him. 😊 I liked him 😊 I hope they cross paths sometimes.✌️❤️🌼
He gave everything until he couldn`t give more, he looked sick , how nobody realize it...he lived for working and his fans...the most handsome, talented and charming man that has ever existed.
I had no idea what an incredible artist, Elvis was until I saw the new Biopic with Austin Butler and Tom Hanks. Wow! He really was the King of Rock and Roll! Go see the movie in your theater if you have not already! You won’t be disappointed 🍿👏

@@Rich-kp1eu I'm not that young , but yes he was a bit before my time alright not much , but a bit , absolutely deserved the title of the King .

Very cool
We were the same age and he was one of my favorites back then and even to this day. I got a little choked up during this thinking and wondering about the music this man had yet to perform. I've never gotten tired of listening to his music...music that we've been gifted with.
Watching this act, knowing it's his last, it feels like he came back to life for one last concert. The KING

Everything you say is true but Elvis took those pills voluntarily for a long period. No one could protect Elvis from himself.

Every word he sang in that song was sung with his heart and complete reflection.
