Good job on the pronunciation of Quedlinburg! That's not easy even for us native German speakers. Oh, and a nice video - as always - the first one with no mention of beer, I think!
I think you’re right about the first one with no beer😅 The pronunciation of Quedlinburg was a challenge all day filming, but I’m glad to hear it wasn’t that far off🙌
Nice job on the video. As a kid in the early 70's, I would often make the day trip with mom and grandma from Braunschweig to Bad Harzburg and into the Harz. Quedlinburg was of course off limits...
@@MYTravelBF For some reason, my previous answers were apparently immediately deleted. You can search for the term Harz Grand Canyon. Most hikes start in Thale or Treseburg
Again a good but short visit zu a lovely town in medieval Germany. You did not explain, why the town was "ruled" by women...that is not a castle on the Hill but rather a cloister for nuns with a fantastic romanic Church...led by an abtissin and not an abt. These abtissin were always from the high nobility, like being the sister of the Kaiser.

Hi My Travel BF, Hi from Orlando Fl. awesome video. Thanks
We’re glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
woah I love the detailing on the wooden beams of the Fachwerkhäuser. I've never seen that. :O
It was definitely some unique architecture that we haven't really seen elsewhere!
this is extraordinary!
We LOVED Quedlinburg. Such a beautiful little town. Thanks for watching✨
Wonderful video! I dropped a like. Cheers to Europe 🎉
Thank you so much!! We really appreciate it! And glad you enjoyed the video!

Thank you, and thanks for watching! We hope you've made it to Quedlinburg since though. Do you recommend going anywhere else in the Harz?
Gut gemacht.
Vielen Dank!
If you some day visit the western part of Germany and like old houses don't miss MONSCHAU near Aachen. Worth it! Great vid btw.
Thank you for the recommendation! We always appreciate any suggestions🙌
If you like a hike, you may consider doing the "Grand Canyon" of the Harz which starts not far away from Quedlinburg in Thale
That sounds like a blast! We'll have to check it out. Do you know the name of it by chance?

Thank you! We were only there for a day, so couldn't fit the entire history of Quedlinburg in😅
