Inside Look At Facility That Makes American Flags

Ahead of the Fourth of July later this week, CBS4 got an inside look at a facility where the American flag is made.

I have a 36 star flag (1865) and a 37 star flag (1867) which were COMPLETELY sewn by hand, which is A LOT of work. I have a photo from the period, of The Annin flag company (oldest in The US) showing a room full of ladies (in hoop skirts) hand sewing flags together, and I'm sure they weren't making more than a few dollars a day for all that effort and skill.
