Queen is a British rock band that was formed in 1970 and was comprised of: Freddie Mercury - Lead vocals and piano Roger Taylor - Drummer and vocals Brian May - Lead guitar and vocals John Deacon - Bass guitar "Bohemian Rhapsody" released originally in 1975 is the creation of Freddie Mercury but he never told anyone what he was thinking when he wrote the lyrics. Freddie often writes in metaphors so I would not suggest trying to take these lyrics literally. He wanted listeners to be able to apply to the song whatever meaning it had to them personally. Not what it meant to him. BTW - Freddie did admit that it was composed of three separate songs that he had been working on but could not seem to finish. So he decided to mash them together, adding some transitions and bridges, and created "Bohemian Rhapsody". "Bohemian Rhapsody" can be broken down into 6 parts: Part I is the "Into". The video image shows the four members of Queen singing and harmonizing the lyrics of the "Intro" in acapella. In reality, it is only Freddie's voice you hear on the recording. Freddie laid down 5 separate tracks of himself singing and harmonizing with himself. (FYI - multi-tracking and overdubbing runs rampant in Bohemian Rhapsody.) Next is the "Ballad" portion of the song ('Mama, just killed a man'). Freddie had worked on this song for years but it never had a name. The other members of Queen tentatively titled it "Freddie's Cowboy Song". The lyrist Tim Rice (who wrote the lyrics for "Jesus Christ, Superstar", "Evita", "Alladin", "The Lion King", ...) who was a close friend of Freddie's believes this portion of the song’s lyrics were about Freddie confessing to his fans that he was gay (a radical and scary thing to do in 1975). The third section is the guitar solo. This is the only part of Bohemian Rhapsody not written by Freddie. Freddie told Brian that he wanted a guitar solo in the song and where he wanted it to fit into the song but left it to Brian to create. Brian wanted to have his guitar effectively sing a verse that would inject a different melody. He heard something in his head. He said that he could hear this melody and had no idea where it came from. That melody isn’t anywhere else in the song, but it’s on a familiar chord sequence, so it dovetails in quite nicely. The guitar solo leads to the fourth section the "Operatic" section. Freddie not only loved Rock but he loved Opera. He was always fascinated with the idea of combining rock and opera. It took 3 weeks to record "Bohemian Rhapsody" and the "Operatic" section was much smaller when they began recording but Freddie kept adding on to it. There are various lyrics in the "Operatic" section that seems to refer to the band. Freddie appears to cast himself as Scaramouche, a stock clown of 16th-century Italian literature who dances around making a fool of himself but speaks the truth. Galileo who was an Italian astrometer, physicist, and engineer definitely refers to Brian (Queen's lead guitarist) who in real life is Dr. Brian May, a scholar with a Ph.D. in Astrophysics. Figaro refers to the Mozart opera, "The Marriage of Figaro" and it is a subtle way to reference Roger Taylor (Queen's drummer) who has a four-range vocal span (E2-E6) and was even frequently cited as hitting E5 while playing the drums in live performances. Freddie compared Roger's voice to a dog whistle. The final reference of Magnifico is Queen's bass guitarist, John Deacon, who has a degree in Electrical Engineering. John is the creator of the "Deacy Amp" which when connected to Brian May's homemade guitar (the Red Special) through a treble-booster could produce sounds reminiscent of various orchestral instruments, such as violin, cello, trombone, clarinet, or even vocals. It is hard to realize that it is only Freddie, Brian, and Roger singing in the "Operatic" section (John never sang on the records). This was 1975, well before digital recordings and autotune. Recordings were made using 24-track analog tape. The limits of tape made it necessary for the three vocalists to overdub themselves many times and "bounce" these down to successive sub-mixes. Some sections of Bohemian Rhapsody feature 180 separate overdubs! The fifth section is the "Hard Rock" portion. In this section, Freddie sings angry lyrics addressed to an unspecified "you", accusing them of betrayal and abuse and insisting "can't do this to me, baby", before the final lines conclude with him singing, "just gotta get right outta here". FYI - the "Operatic" and the "Hard Rock" sections of BoRap were featured in a scene in the 1992 film Wayne's World, in which the main character and his friends headbang in a car to the rock part. Because of the success of Wayne's World, Bohemian Rhapsody was re-released in the U.S. in 1992 and rose to Number 2 on the Billboard chart. In the sixth and final section, the "Outro" returns back to the "Ballad" to close the circle of the song and ends with the sound of a Chinese gong. Welcome to the world of Queen.
As an 84 years old Great Grandmother. I love Beethoven ( Especially his 7th, the Pastoral), Mozart, (The magic Flute) Holst, ( The planets ).Now Queen. ( Especially Bohemian Rhapsody.)
You have just experienced a masterpiece. I love seeing someone experience Queen for the 1st time ! Queen and Freddy are perfection. That's why they continue to conquer new fans , decade after decade. I'm a child of the 70's and was there song after song, and now my children and grandchildren share my love of Queen. A boy Frederick Bulsara born in Zanzibar grew up to be Freddy Mercury ! And there will never be another like him ! RIP Freddy, we miss you ! 💖
Farrokh Bulsara not Frederick man. 😅 Freddie Mercury was born in Zanzibar as Farrokh Bulsara to a Farsi (Persian / Iranian) Zoroastrian family, went to boarding school in India and moved to UK as a teen... Changed his name to Freddie Mercury, joined Brian and Roger, found John and the 👑 Queen was born. Their music is eternal.❤
The lead singer, Freddie Mercury wrote this song. He never explained what his music was about. He wanted the listener to interperet the music, a true artist.
It boggles my mind that this song/video was released nearly 50 years ago. This was the first video that was ever produced for promotion of a song and Queen finished it very quickly and on a very small budget. They needed to promote their song but were leaving the country to go on tour so they made a video to show in their stead on Top Of The Pops which was the only place in the UK to really premier and promote your music. Their usual format on that show was lipsync but in this case, they had to settle for the video. It was their policy to play the number 1 song each week and this song stayed on top for 9 weeks which really annoyed the producers of the show because of the length of it. Most songs had to come in around 3 minutes or less to actually get radio play back then and this song was around 6 minutes. Yes, more Queen. React to Queen songs and the Queen Army will beat a path to your door. BUT! never break in on a Brian May Guitar Solo or a rain of hate will come down on you from that Queen Army. Queen doesn't generally block so you are usually okay on their songs and live performances with just a pause or two. Use the official Queen site to get your Queen stuff and you will probably be alright. I am glad you liked Bohemian Rhapsody, it is beautiful. Probably the next song should be "Somebody To Love" live at Montreal. You will really see how together this band is live and how confident and great Freddie is as a Frontman. Queen is even better live than studio and they kill it in the studio. Thank you for your reaction
Just to let you know. The lead guitarist is now an astro physicist. He put his academic career on hold to pursue a music career and when that came to an end finished off his doctorate to become an astro physicist. He is considered to be one of the best guitarists in the world.
Your reaction of WTF?!?!! is pretty much the same rxn I (everyone ?) had when I first heard Bohemian Rhapsody, I called the radio station confused as hell! Check out Queen's concert at Live Aid, it's 20 min long but has multiple songs and you can really understand the impact of Queen and Freddie Mercury, it's widely considered the BEST concert ever!
@@AlainnCorcaigh Who would that be? If you are referring to me, you are mistaken. My words are my own. I am 72 y.o. and have lived through all of Queen history, always loved the band and have a powerful memory for detail. I used to have photographic memory but as I get older, and don't exercise it as much as I used to, it is not as absolute as it once was. I also am a writer so if I copied something, I would credit the author or if I am quoting someone, I will credit the individual who made the statement.
A lot of people consider this Freddie's coming out song but he never really came out during his life. He felt that was private but this is often interpreted that way. If that interpretation is true, he was killing his earlier persona, Farrokh Bulsara, born to a religious family and becoming Freddie Mercury who was bi/gay and one of, if not the best male vocalists in rock history..
The problem is with the current generation is their exposure, or a lack there of, of truly deep and meaningful music. To get your music out there, you had to be really good at your craft as only way was getting a record deal. Things are all watered down these days, music, video, you name it!
It's never too late to be a Queen fan, welcome to a enormous collection of the greatest music of 50 years by Queen, and the best frontman to ever grace the stage! The guys in Queen were not only brilliant on stage, but off the stage as well! Each member of the band actually graduated from University and have degrees in everything from Electrical Engineering to a PhD in Astrophysics, Biology and Graphic Design! PS, If you love the piano, listen to "White Queen" a night at the Odeon, Hammersmith 1975.Just one more thing, Queen fans are the best fans ever and the nicest people! 😊 Enjoy
I grew up in the 80's and listening to Queen...us hardcore Queen fans will NEVER roast anyone for listening to Queen for the first time and loving it. We welcome you with open arms. Much love from South Africa💜🇿🇦
This song was the birth of Rock/Opera , you've probably heard Queen before but didn't realise . The song " We will Rock you " which is chanted at football stadiums etc was a Queen song .
Queen is a band of 4 people, three of them are still alive. The drummer is called Roger Taylor, the guitarrist Brian May, the bassist John ´Richard´ (true fans will understand that) Deacon and the lead singers name is Freddie Mercury. He died in 1991 because of Aids, Brian and Roger are still on tour with Adam Lambert, nobody does really know a thing about John, the dead of Fred was too much for him... Maybe you know their movie which is also called Bohemian Rhapsody. It´s a song by Freddie Mercury and I only know that even the band mates didn´t knew why he called the song Bohemian Rhapsody. They thougt he would call it `Killed a man´ or something like that (that´s what I know from their interviews. I´m pretty sure you know their iconic songs `We will rock you´ and `We are the Champions´. Most of the fans also say that they remember Live Aid as the best Conzert of Queen which is also my choice. There´s an unbelievable performance of `Radio gaga´. Maybe you´ve still reacted to that but if you didn´t, please do it quickly!!! I hope the answer of a 12 year old girl helped you! Have a nice day, darlings😉☺
👏👏👏Welcome to the Queen’s world! You can find a huge catalog of their amazing and versatile songs and stunning live performances. You can choose any of them you never won’t be disappointed. Let me introduce you the Queen: Freddie Mercury the lead singer and pianist, Brian May the guitarist, John Deacon the bassist and Roger Taylor the drummer, they all were highly graduated and of course they were great musicians. Queen is the most versatile rock band, they wrote their own stuff in several genres from rock to jazz, to pop, etc. about 200 songs. Freddie never took singing lessons, but his powerful and emotional performances are still legendary. There are several theories about the meaning of the song, but Freddie never explained his lyrics and especially not this one, it remains his secret forever. He composed this masterpiece from 3 earlier written and unfinished songs. All those beautiful harmonies are the result of a very complicated 3 weeks recording in 6 different studios, only Freddie knew how it had to be sounded. Pls, check out Save Me at Montreal 81.
after his deed, the protagonist has to experience different stages of reprocessing, like: self pity, denial, anger, madness, acceptance. some like that.
Also check out the movie! "Bohemian Rhapsody". There it becomes clear. I grew up with Queen myself. Because that's what my parents listened to then. And English is our 2nd language. But for me it's Queen for Ever. Brian May, the bass guitarist. Is still playing and also on UA-cam. Greetings from Spakenburg, the Netherlands.
A rhapsody as a musical form is a single-movement work that is episodic (i.e. has distinct groups of musical ideas), free-flowing in structure, and features a range of highly contrasting moods. The song is composed of six distinct sections - introduction, ballad, guitar solo, opera, rock, and an outro.
"Let's see if everybody likes it..." Welcome to the club, Slick! Anybody that can hear has an appreciation for the music created by Queen. Dig in to the catalog and enjoy!!!
I bet you know many Queen's songs 1. We are the champions 2. We will rock you 3. Another one bites the dust check out Queen Somebody to love Montreal 81, Under pressue live at Wembley 86
@@slickgaming810 For the future Queen is way better live than studio with a few exceptions. 1.Don't stop me now official video 2. I want to break free ( funny official video) 3. The show must go official video, cuz live version doesn't exist
Early Queen is so much different than later Queen. So much genre diversity, including Freddie, on his own, writing an album (1987) and singing with Spanish opera singer Montserrat Caballe. Awesome … Barcelona, Golden Boy and How Can I go on. Freddie died from AIDS in 1991. Queen (Brian and Roger) still performs with Adam Lambert.
Cut in 1974,released in 75 ,rhapsody a mesh up of stories telling one . No auto tune ,just raw talent and instruments perfectly played . There's so much to unwrap about this song ,a true rock /opra anthem.
"What in the acid tablets is going on here?!!" LOL! 🤣😂🤣 LOVED your reaction! Too funny! I'm glad you took this song literally. So many people try to make this song "mean" something when I think Freddie was just telling a story: boy kills someone, instantly ruining his own life; tells mom, tries to run, gets caught, tries to beg for his life, they won't let him go, etc. Freddie was quite a story teller in the early years (Fairy Fellers Master Stroke, My Fairy King, Great King Rat, Seven Seas of Rhye.) Looking forward to more Queen reactions. You've got 20 years (1971-1991) of masterful music ahead of you. Enjoy!
YES!!! Finally! Someone who hears the same thing I do! It really seems pretty obvious what's going on with the death penalty and all. You're the first person I've heard that from. And you will never go wrong with Queen. Play it and they will come.
Some people think this song is about himself killing his straight male self and he was possibly throwing it all away and some of the other lyrics siggest that too down to the last any way the wind blows
@@jimwilcox2964 And you absolutely could be right. Since none of the guys ever explained their lyrics, interpreting them is kind of like a crap shoot. That's just what I got out of it the first time I heard it when I was 12. I can see where all the different ideas come from, but this one just makes the most sense to me.
No, that's not 80's hair, that's early 70's hair lol This music video was made in 1975, a year before I was born and I was lucky to be raised by Queen admirers, even my grandma became a fan in the late 90's and was a huge fan until she got lost in Alzheimer's mid 2010's This song would always make her smile 😁 I always find it interesting that people are discovering them now over 30 years after Freddy Mercury's death. You days you didn't know them because you're a 90's baby. I'm a 70's baby and I love 60's music even some 40's and 50's music😉 Watch Live aid at Wembley 1985, they did a 20+ minute show that 1,9 BILLION people watched live, I watched it and loved it even though I was only 9 years old 😁
More Queen please. Nobody know what this is really about Freddie was very coy with his songs meanings. It was made in 1975 and ine of the first music videos ever.
Everyone loves Queen and all its members, but Freddie, omg, ❤❤❤❤❤. We ALL love Freddie, may he RIP. This has been my favorite song of all time since it came out, and btw, I’ve never taken acid in my life.
Freddy!! He wrote this song!!! Nobody wanted to release it because it was too long!! Now its a masterpiece and everyone loves it!!! Freddy will never die!!! He’s special and so talented 😊
@slickreacts I wanted to mention, too, that Dr. Brian May, In 2007, received his PhD in astrophysics from Imperial College. His guitar, known as his, " Red Special", was built by Dr. Brian and his father. One of a kind! All the boys are geniuses. Freddie studied in graphic design. He designed the bands logo. All of the guy's zodiac symbols are incorporated in the design with the Phoenix. I could talk about Queen forever! Take care!
Your reaction to Freddie’s line “Mama I just Killed a man” cracked me up. Go down the rabbit hole called Queen if you are a true music lover. The way you analyze the lyrics shows us old fogies you are a seeker. Freddie and the whole band called Queen. It will take you to an amazing place to keep listening to them.
I have to say, watching you (a total newbie to Queen) carefully and thoughtfully work your way through this piece of music was just a delight! Yes, the video is a bit of an acid trip but the music itself is next level amazing, and you totally tapped into that. "Three songs in one" is actually quite correct. Freddie Mercury was very much into opera and wanted to make a rock song that captured all the drama and different moods of an opera. Clearly, he succeeded.
The three parts of the song are defined as: The Crime, The Trial and The Redemption. It has been speculated the song was about Freddie coming to terms with his sexuality.
Btw the man he killed was himself. He meant the man he was pretending to be a good Zanzibarian straight boy. He was coming out as bisexual in this song.
That was 70's hair, this song was recorded in 1975. Freddie never told anyone what he intended this song to mean, not even the other band members. He wanted it to be whatever the listener needed it to be. And you don't have to shade or block any of the Queen videos, they allow them to be enjoyed and shared intact.
Queen is the best band ever. This was Freddie Mercury's Opus. It's telling the story of a young poor boy who killed a man and told his mother and he said look I was so smart I had it all but I'm just a poor kid, I'm going to run mama! Mama says no, the devil is in you, they won't let you go. And at the end he resigns himself to the consequences of his crime, Meet me where the wind blows! Beautiful! It's done in different genres almost like an operatic play. Freddie Mercury's background musical training was classical. The man is a lyricak genius and this isn't a song, this is a composition. All their music is stunning and ahead its time. My 9 and 11 yr old grandsons know every word!
Yes, more Queen please. Freddie wrote this song, among many others. Each of the 4 members wrote hit songs. I'm sure you have heard Another On w Bites The Dust, Don't Stop Me Now, We Will Rock You, We Are the Champiobs, Stone Cold Crazy, etc. They rarely block their videos, White Queen Live at the Odeon 1975 is the only one occasionally blocked but there is also a UA-cam video of it that is not blocked
It’s a crime committed, a confession to his mom, his arrest, searching for a defense using methods real and characters of fiction used, (research those names), the trial: his attorneys arguing his case, “ he’s a poor boy, let him go”, He’s found guilty “we will not let him go”, and convicted, sentenced to die, knowing he’s going to hell. (Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me.” ) Then, his berating the court, berating his mom, berating the attorneys, his attempt to escape, “got to get right out of here”. He’s recaptured. Then, resigning to his fate, “nothing really matters”. Finally, the gong…his execution. That’s the short explanation.
Understand, this is only my interpretation. It’s true, Freddie wanted the listener to make their own sense of the song. Many think it was his, “coming out” admission while hinting he was dying from AIDS. but the lyrics simply don’t imply any such thing. Plus, he was very private about his personal life and this was written many years before the AIDS epidemic. I believe this was intended to become an opera (Freddie loved opera) that he never got the chance to flesh out. The Rhapsody title hints at that intention and the musical transitions scream of operatic influences. Each lyrical passage make sense to me especially with each section as it relates to the one that follows. Sorry for the rant. Enjoyed your reaction. Please explore more Queen. Trust me…that band employed every genre of music from rock to blues to gospel influenced to country to pop to anthems. They Are the Champions and They Will Rock You! 😉 Get it? No? You will. Check them out! I double dog dare you!
May I humbly suggest “Somebody to Love,” live 1981 in Montreal and, their performance at “Live Aid”, 1985? Live Aid was a charity concert for the famine in Ethiopia with 60 headline rock acts performing in both London and Philadelphia. It was linked by 13 satellites and seen by over a billion people all over the world. To this day, Queen’s performance is considered the best live performance by a rock band. When they left the stage after their set, Elton John said to Freddie, “You SOB, how can anyone follow that!” Interestingly, Freddie had a painful throat infection and was advised by his doctor not to perform but he went on anyway and became a legend. Sadly, he passed away from AIDS in 1991. Sorry for the rant but as an 80 year old, 45 year rabid fan girl/grandma, I love that young people are discovering these talented musicians. Freddie Mercury, multi instrumentalist, lead vocals. Dr, Brian May guitar, vocals (astrophysicist). Roger Taylor, drums, vocals, high falsetto (studied Biology), John Deacon, bass guitar (electronic engineer).
This is actually 3 songs in one‼️Freddie’s mom, Ger, didn’t like this song too much because he says he wished he was never born. 70’s hair at best‼️‼️❤❤❤

@@slickgaming810 yeah, I was about four minutes in and I had to stop watching. Every line he had to stop and analyze. Can’t react to a song if you’re listening line by line. Sorry just some constructive criticism.
One interpretation of this song is that it conveys the emotional journey of Freddy 'coming out' to his family and the world as a gay man. It happened around the time of his marriage break-up. The person he refer to in the song as being killed was Farrokh Bulsara (Freddy's real name) and the 'official' image of him as being straight. It was about him stopping the pretence. It's brilliant.
@@davidmalarkey1302 As I wrote, it's an interpretation of the song that I have read on more than one occasion. What is your understanding of the song - especially since you say my offering is 'completely wrong'?
He is not completely wrong David M , in fact Freddie was asked what this song was about in an interview with BBC which is on You Tube and Freddie explained it very similar to how One Day did. Freddie said there was more than just the “gay” thing but that is what most of it is about.
Just a clarification: Freddie Mercury was bisexual and openly so! Lots of historical bi figures get swept aside and labeled as either gay or straight, but Freddie was and is an iconic part of bi history

Someone told you to react to Queen? That 'someone" told you right! Have fun analyzing "Bohemian Rhapsody". We've tried for almost 50 years! HaHa. If you watched Shaun of The Dead movies, you heard "You're My Best Friend" and "Don't Stop Me Now". Anime? "Killer Queen". Rap? also "Killer Queen" and a sample from "Under Pressure"
In addition to being musical geniuses , having higher degrees they are of course in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, All 4 have a minimum of 3 top ten hits they wrote, all 4 have individually been inducted into the songwriters hall of Fame.
If you want to see the impact of Quuen, search for 'green day bohemian rhapsody' . 2017, Green Day concert in Hyde Park (London, uk) music was being played over the PA system before the concert started, then Bohemian Rhapsody came on. . . . .
A rhapsody in music is a one-movement work that is episodic yet integrated, free-flowing in structure, featuring a range of highly contrasted moods, colour, and tonality. An air of spontaneous inspiration and a sense of improvisation make it freer in form than a set of variations. Detailing the crime, then the trial, then the resolution.

Mission Accomplished Freddie. 🖤🎶🖤
Queen is a British rock band that was formed in 1970 and was comprised of:
Freddie Mercury - Lead vocals and piano
Roger Taylor - Drummer and vocals
Brian May - Lead guitar and vocals
John Deacon - Bass guitar
"Bohemian Rhapsody" released originally in 1975 is the creation of Freddie Mercury but he never told anyone what he was thinking when he wrote the lyrics.
"Bohemian Rhapsody" can be broken down into 6 parts:
Part I is the "Into". The video image shows the four members of Queen singing and harmonizing the lyrics of the "Intro" in acapella. In reality, it is only Freddie's voice you hear on the recording. Freddie laid down 5 separate tracks of himself singing and harmonizing with himself. (FYI - multi-tracking and overdubbing runs rampant in Bohemian Rhapsody.)
Next is the "Ballad" portion of the song ('Mama, just killed a man').

And there will never be another like him ! RIP Freddy, we miss you ! 💖
Queen and Adam Lambert were just in Detroit this week and the show was sold out! Almost 50 years after BR they still sell out arenas.
Farrokh Bulsara not Frederick man. 😅
Freddie Mercury was born in Zanzibar as Farrokh Bulsara to a Farsi (Persian / Iranian) Zoroastrian family, went to boarding school in India and moved to UK as a teen... Changed his name to Freddie Mercury, joined Brian and Roger, found John and the 👑 Queen was born. Their music is eternal.❤

Forgot the hair pay attention to the musical masterpiece u are watching ! And maybe the greatest male vocalist ever Freddie Mercury
The lead singer, Freddie Mercury wrote this song. He never explained what his music was about. He wanted the listener to interperet the music, a true artist.
It’s about him coming out as bisexual… tying to tell his mother. Essentially, killing the old Freddie.
I've heard that, but I also wonder if it's about his AIDS diagnosis. The lyrics track with that idea, too.
@@melissakelly6768 His Aids diagnosis came more than a decade after this song was released. I personally think it was his Coming Out song.
@@kimd.9070 I was about to comment the same. :)
This video is recognised as the first ever music video ever made.
I remember seeing this when it was first released and was blown away. It’s brilliant.
"What in the acid tablets is going on here!?"
Classic! 🤣
Lol
🤣🤣🤣💖😎
Great comments, agree 100%! Loved the part about never interrupting Brian May solo, that certainly gets us Queen fans riled up alright!!🤣
Check out Queen's concert at Live Aid, it's 20 min long but has multiple songs and you can really understand the impact of Queen and Freddie Mercury, it's widely considered the BEST concert ever!
someone likes to copy and paste
@@AlainnCorcaigh Who would that be? If you are referring to me, you are mistaken. My words are my own. I am 72 y.o. and have lived through all of Queen history, always loved the band and have a powerful memory for detail. I used to have photographic memory but as I get older, and don't exercise it as much as I used to, it is not as absolute as it once was. I also am a writer so if I copied something, I would credit the author or if I am quoting someone, I will credit the individual who made the statement.
Bohemian Rhapsody is THE song from the album A Night At The Opera. This will help explain why the song has been constructed the way they did.
That makes sense now. You explained it very well.

The problem is with the current generation is their exposure, or a lack there of, of truly deep and meaningful music. To get your music out there, you had to be really good at your craft as only way was getting a record deal. Things are all watered down these days, music, video, you name it!

Wow thank you for an explanation of their history! And thank you for the welcome. I’ll definitely check it out.
BR put MTV on the map!
after his deed, the protagonist has to experience different stages of reprocessing, like: self pity, denial, anger, madness, acceptance. some like that.
If you ever heard We Will Rock You or We Are the Champions, you know Queen.

Queens performance at “Live Aid”, Incredible.
I agree ‼️
They virtually adapted the music scene..they opened the door to new ideas...
Having Eighties hair was particularly impressive, considering this came out in 1975...
Enjoy!
Queen is the best. Every song is a winner.
YES!!! Finally! Someone who hears the same thing I do! It really seems pretty obvious what's going on with the death penalty and all. You're the first person I've heard that from. And you will never go wrong with Queen. Play it and they will come.
Thank you! Yeah it definitely seemed like they were sentencing him to death. Appreciate the love
Trish C. - correct ! like the movie .... If you play it they Will Come

This music video was made in 1975, a year before I was born and I was lucky to be raised by Queen admirers, even my grandma became a fan in the late 90's and was a huge fan until she got lost in Alzheimer's mid 2010's This song would always make her smile 😁
I always find it interesting that people are discovering them now over 30 years after Freddy Mercury's death.

Queen's "Love of my Life" is another great song.

More Queen please. Nobody know what this is really about Freddie was very coy with his songs meanings. It was made in 1975 and ine of the first music videos ever.
There’s more coming 😊
Peter Freestone, his personal assistant for many years, said that he thinks that Bohemian Rhapsody was Freddies coming out. He killed the old Freddie.
GREAT reaction to a great song! And not just because we share a name.
Take care!
That is one of the greatest songs ever created in Popular Music! 🍁
No this song was written before he was bi
@@robinpraisebetogodscammell3277 Perhaps he suspected he was bi.
Btw the man he killed was himself. He meant the man he was pretending to be a good Zanzibarian straight boy. He was coming out as bisexual in this song.
Of course we want more Queen. There is a LOT!!
That was 70's hair, this song was recorded in 1975. Freddie never told anyone what he intended this song to mean, not even the other band members. He wanted it to be whatever the listener needed it to be. And you don't have to shade or block any of the Queen videos, they allow them to be enjoyed and shared intact.
yes. more Queen please.

That was the clearest explanation I’ve found as to the meaning of the song thank you 😊
Understand, this is only my interpretation.
Saturday I got some more queen for you guys no worries 😉

You are completely wrong about your interpretation of this song
@@davidmalarkey1302 As I wrote, it's an interpretation of the song that I have read on more than one occasion. What is your understanding of the song - especially since you say my offering is 'completely wrong'?
He is not completely wrong David M , in fact Freddie was asked what this song was about in an interview with BBC which is on You Tube and Freddie explained it very similar to how One Day did. Freddie said there was more than just the “gay” thing but that is what most of it is about.
Freddie was never married but called her his common law wife and left her the biggest part of his estate.
Just a clarification: Freddie Mercury was bisexual and openly so! Lots of historical bi figures get swept aside and labeled as either gay or straight, but Freddie was and is an iconic part of bi history
