Crazy thing is that infamous second son was my first infamous game…like ever and I really want to play the other games but I really love infamous second son. Mostly nostalgia but I really love the gameplay, style, soundtrack, and I really like Delsin as a character. I know you said he only has “two character traits” and I see that but he’s just cool to me. But yeah this was a nice video man.
Honestly I love second son, I love delsin and I love seatle and it still has the best gameplay loop out of all of them and has one of the funnest once I have ever played. I was just trying to be mostly objective thanks bro
@@CinemAlecXL oh nice. Yeah idk if eventually do play infamous 1 & 2 I might change my mind but I grew up with second son so yeah it’s really nostalgic for me. I can remember I got the ps4 and the game. I miss 2014…like a lot. Lol

Also I’d love to have a conversation with you about inFAMOUS as I feel you brought up a lot of interesting points in your vid.
I'm currently going through each game and trying to platinum them. I am honestly suprised by how much I like the first game, so far my ranking is
3. First Light (Good gameplay and traversal but everything else is kinda ass)
2. Second Son (Kinda mediocre in terms of story but it's got good gameplay and the best traversal in the series

The best infamous game is the very first one. Yeah sure, second son had multiple powers and infamous 2 gave cole a cool wacky stick and vampire powers in the dlc.
But the first game didn't restrict you to playing the game like a god damn third person shooter. It gave you infinite shock blast but it wasn't powerful in the slightest. So you had to diversify and manage your resources correctly, take out certain enemies first take note of the nearest resource so you can heal, know when to use shockwave instead of shock grenade. It was made worse in 2 but it still had the right idea. In second son, all you need to do is shoot and reload at the nearest source. Especially when you get video.
Infamous 2 had the right idea with melee combat but was lacking in everything else. The story was bland, the characters were bland. The enemies were bland too at times. Unless you pick going bad karma all the way, it's your usual 'oh i do da gud thing.' Type story. And i also hate how bio leech works in second son.
First light was interesting because it's the first time you got to play as a female character. But it didn't feel like infamous. You didn't have a choice half the time. Since we basically already knew fetch's story.
I hope the next chapter in the infamous series takes place in an almost resource dry area. So that people will actually need to use melee and reserve their powers instead of just hiding and shooting. I'm gonna be waiting for that.
Lol not really. The plot of the first one was technically you just doing small little sub plots of taking out enemies, clearing the sewers and restoring power to a new section of the city, escorting / protecting something or someone. Not to mention the boss battles were weak and underwhelming. And Cole as a whole felt so monotone, with half cooked side characters to boot. 🤷🏻♂️ oh and the Karma system really didn’t hold any real weight lol. Hell, even the same dialogue was used occasionally to match either choice and it just didn’t feel right. Low key kinda lazy imo.
