We will discuss what you should do 1.) if you are not able to pay your credit cards after 2 consecutive months, 2.) if banks are already contacting you, and 3.) if collection agencies are starting to contact you during the wee hours of night and morning.
We will also discuss what a credit card amnesty is and what the Interbank Debt Relief Program (IDRP) is.

Hi.. very informative. May I ask if the total amount due is more than 100k. Can I still avail the IDRP?
Thank you po. First time ko mag credit card and ginamit ko po yung 20k for my family during pandemic kase nakuha ko yung money the time bago magpandemic and nagclose yung Airlines sa Australia. Tapos floating pako for 6 months. Nung nakabalik naman ako sa work after 3 days nagkasakit naman ako di ko natapos training tas ayun I had no choice kundi magresign nalang. In the first year nabayaran ko pa monthly ko pero sobrang tagal ko bago nagkawork kaya di ko na mabayaran yung credit card balances ko. Part time part time lang work kong bago. Nagmessage na sakin yung BDO ng amnesty program.

Hi i have cc debt last time na nakita ko sa app ko is 54 and the bank send me a letter also for this, then may collecting agency n din giving me options for amnesty, san po ba maganda magsettle if im planning to pay in full sa bank na po ba or sa collecting agency to ask for amnesty also.

How long will it take for me to rebuild my credit score ? I have a BDO card which was sent to collections but I settled that already. I also have an active CC with unionbank with no outstanding balance since I also clear that as well.
Not sure on the rate of increase sa credit score but basta as long as you pay on time and in full, over time that will increase

Hello, tanong ko lang po tama po ba yung mangolecta ng downpayment ang collection agency? Yun daw po kasi protocol ng nasabing banko bago installment.
Hi Rei Na! Ang tanda ko dati parang oo, nag-collect sila ng downpayment sakin nun (1st month payment) pero baka pwede mo i-negotiate na pwedeng hindi na muna. As long as deducted siya dun sa total amount na babayaran mo, good yun. And also always check sa bank kung legit ba yung collection agency na kumocontact sayo :D

What if po dumating na ung SOA of the month and example po Owe amount is 5k due is 25th, tapos naka ADA enrolled na at every 20th then magbabayd ako ng early payment 2k sa 15th , ang question ko po is 3k nalng po ba ang e dedebit ng bank sa savings account or magbabase tlga sa total statement balance na 5k? So manenegative 2k na ung outstanding balance sa cc ko? First timer po ako sa CCs. Salamat po

Basta general rule is kung ano yung reflected sa SOA mo, yun ang babayaran mo.
Whatever credit/debit activities that you did during your billing cycle (whether nagbayad ka or ginamit mo yung credit card mo, basta within the cutoff), magrereflect yun sa SOA mo.

Hi Grace! Hmm I wouldn't recommend applying for another loan just to pay for other loans. Baka mas malaki yung interest nyan if ever.

Hi.. What if I reached out sa bank and they transfered me sa collections agency and I was offered a 1x payment ng debt ko for more than 14 yrs.. Since I paid it off, after getting the cert of full payment, kelan kaya maupdate ang CMAP? So that my name is cleared na po? Thanks

This is an old vid but hopefully you can still see my comment. I recently tried to request for IDRP by calling BPI and HSBC, but it seems both hindi sila familiar. They advised to have collections department call me na lang kasi ok pa naman ang credit standing ko as of the moment. Do I need to miss my payments? I thought by opting for IDRP in advance, I wouldn't have to be a delinquent payer 😔 please advise.
I don't get it. You want to avail of IDRP but you're not in delinquent standing yet?

Im worried and dont know what to do, i have 3credit cards to pay. One is 130k, two is 150k and the third one is 100k. I only pay for the minumum amount at lomobo na sya ng ganyan kalaki. Should I make lapses on payment so I can apply for amnesty? But idk the process for that. Or can I speak to the bank if matatanggal nila ang charges so I can pay for it. Please I need your advise. Hi po. Nag ask po ako sa bank about IDRP and they told me na e rereport daw nila sa reporting agency ang credit cards ko once ma approve. Meaning po ba nito magiging blacklisted na ako? Salamat
Banks shall report to the following all accounts booked and have defaulted in the Program.
CCAP Negative File
BSP Negative File
Credit Bureau
All other regulatory reporting requirements
CCAP Collections Committee to report to the CCAP Board on a monthly basis accounts booked / defaulted in the Program

hello ask lang may home loan kasi ako sa dalawang bank bdo and aub tapos ng yari nag simula ang covid na stranded ako sa pinas nd ako naka balik agad sa states para mag work. halos 8months ako sa pinas na stranded nun peru 2 or 3months lang ako na delayed mag bayad then after 3months naka balik na ako sa states nabayaran ko naman ng buo yung delayed payments ko and now 6months straight na ako on time nag babayad.. na apektohan ba ang creditscore ko nun dahil sa ng yari?

Hi Michael, they offer one-time payment pero usually with interest na. I don't think they will charge less than what you would incur because malulugi sila.

Just to avoid confusion, hindi po sa CMAP or sa credit bureaus pinapasa yung info. Sa CIC po -- and inaaccess lang ng either CMAP or ng credit bureaus yung credit info ninyo po sa CIC. :)
And to answer, since GCredit is in partnership with CIMB. The answer is ideally yes. :)

Hi! Kung bank pa rin po ang kausap ninyo, sa kanila ninyo po i-aarrange yung payment terms. Kung meron po kayong 2 or more credit cards, pwede nyo po applyan ng IDRP yung credit card nyo po. Basta po kausapin nyo lang po yung bank nyo po. All the other details ay nasa video ko po. Salamat po. :)

Hello Sir..ask ko po sana,may offer kasi si Security Bank na Payment Restructuring Program,collection agency na yung tumawag sa akin..ang offer po is up to 60 mos sya pwede bayaran, plan ko po sana yung 36 mos at 1.25% interest,but when I looked at the total accumulated interest for 36 mos,it's 60K plus din po, ok lang po ba iyon? or mataas po masyado?TIA po sa sagot :)

I think you need to pay overlimit fee first
paano po if 20k yung outstanding bal. ko and that was way back 2012 na po. im not sure kung saan ko na po sya babayaran. paano po kaya yun.

Hi! afaik pwede pa rin, pero yun nga lang baka i-disapprove pa rin ng banks if they see na you availed of the IDRP since they're gauging if makakapagbayad ka ba ng housing loan + may binabayaran kang IDRP. Banks pa rin po magdedecide if they will approve your applications or not. :)

Hi! past 30 days na po ba since nung na-receive nyo na po yung statement po ninyo? kasi if yes, unfortunately liable na po kayo sa bank pag ganun.
Kindly negotiate lang po with the bank na wala po kayong na-receive na statement of account. Best to do this via e-mail, and copy furnish ang bangko sentral ng pilipinas sa email (consumeraffairs@bsp.gov.ph). Hope this helps!

Long post ahead Hi po may 3cc po ako this past mos dun nagstart na magstruggle sa payments (tho nababayad ko pa nmn at present but thru bal transfer & cash loan offered by these banks po) currently ung 3cc have various installments po up to 3yrs to pay availment. nxt month prang hndi na po tlga kayang bayaran sadly since breadwinner po ako (majority of purchases were medicines & groceries) ung 100K criteria po ba is ung total na na utang (installments included?) 10K po is ung monthly due po ba? Tama po kaya intindi ko? Balak ko po sana mag avail as soon as possible. Been a good payer nmn po kaya lng nxt month hndi na po tlga kaya, png gastos nlng ng utilities sa bahay nauuwi po sahod ko, sana po masagot. Praying for all of us to be debt free... 🙏
Hi Carol, I'm not sure ano yung 100k criteria that you mentioned. Can you provide more context on this? And ano yung 10k? is that the one reflecting in your balance statement?
On how I understood it: kapag naka-installment, kung magkano yung babayaran mo per month sa lahat ng installments mo, yun lang ang babayaran mo on a specific month.

Tapos po nagoffer si CA ng one time payment na maging 45k po pwde pa po ba na tumawad pa po sa kanila para mas mababa ang bayaran.. nagsimula po na di mabayaran last yr dahil sa pandemic. Nagkaroon na po ako ng anxiety kapag may tumatawag po at may nagpunta sa bahay na may dalang letter po. Kaya sa takot ko nagsinungaling ako na wala na ang hinahanap nila..
Gusto ko po isettle po... kaya lang sa ngayon di ko po kaya ang ganun halaga
na hinihingi nila.
Hi @hope21! I'm sorry to hear that and I hope you heal soon from your anxiety. I'm not sure if my words would be comforting enough if I'd say na I've been also in your situation.
My number 1 tip for you is wag mo sila tatakasan, kasi pwedeng grounds yun for possible fraudulent use of the bank's money. I'm not sure if these options would be viable for you, pero baka pwedeng yung 45k is utangin mo siguro sa family mo muna if may extra sila? Ofc I don't know the situation of your family, pero kung meron sa kanila na mapapahiram ka ng pera, it's better to do it kesa yung CA ang nangungulit sayo.
But if hindi talaga kaya yung one-time payment, you can ask them again to re-negotiate your terms. Yun nga lang, more than 45k yun, but I think the CA will be amenable naman to that kasi they will adjust on your capacity to pay. Wala naman sila magagawa. Basta tandaan mo lang na they are not allowed to treat you badly, as what I've said sa video ko.

Wag mong tagu-an may unpaid credit card ako since 2009 ngayong year nag contact ako sa kanila dahil gusto ko ng bayaran and they give me a chance na ma settle in a lower amount pero one time payment. From 200k year 2009 ngayon 2023 they want me to pay 42k one time payment so ayun aayusin ko na kase utang pa rin yun na dapat kong bayaran

@@osheanlee Thank you, I received an email from the bank and they offered an amnesty, I just need to pay the credit limit I had before, and they didn't include the interest and other charges, and I requested for it to be paid in 12 months, since they only offered 6 months, and they agreed. Hopefully I will be able to pay my debt, it's only one bank, I have 2 other cards though with no issues, so good thing the bank agreed to my request.

I want to settle all my cc balances as early as I can habang nabbayaran ko pa. I have 3 cc's and binabayaran ko lahat at minimum amount due lang which is dun na napupunta lahat ng sahod ko 🥺🥺 gusto ko na makaahon pero nababaon ako dahil sa mga utang which alam na alam ko na fault ko. @@purpleplay91 Hi! Yes po, CCAP member ang SB. But I think it's best na mag-balance transfer ka na lang to security bank then pay ka ng installment sa SB? baka mas okay yun. I think SB has the best balance transfer feature. hope this helps and good luck! you'll be debt free in the future as long as you stick lang sa goals mo and you make a plan, and you follow that plan. Sadly, hindi ako na approve for IDRP 😭 Ang ganda sana ng program pero hindi ako na approve 🥺 hindi nila sinabi kung bakit. 🥺 nag apply nalang muna ako restructuring sa isa kong bank for 3 years.

Hi Marvin! Apologies for the late reply.
1.) Even if you pay it, it will still be in your records. pero there are some people na nawala na sa credit history nila yung delinquent nila from their credit cards na before 2010 pa. So baka may time/year lapse lang. but still, I wouldn't advise getting away with this because this is still punishable by law.
2.) Most likely sila pa rin may hawak ng account mo. Also, if legit yung collection agency, best to inquire in your bank.

Sir paano po if ung utang ay dahil sa unauthorized charges na ginawa ng fraudster na nagnakaw ng wallet ko? Namaxed out po kc ung card ko and bank refuse to reverse the charges despite my dispute complains sent to them. Nireport ko naman ung unauthorized charges kaagad nung nwala ung Credit card. Wala po ba protection ung consumer from paying unauthorized charges kc po nagkakainterest na un. Ngayon po nakahold ung card ko sa kanila di ko na magamit. Makakasuhan parin po ba ako ng collection agency?
Hi Dorell. Gano katagal na yung unauthorized charges? Kasi if wala pang 30 days, itawag mo agad sa bank para ma-negotiate mo to reverse the charges.

@@osheanlee tinawag ko na po sa bank within the same day nangyari ung transaction kaso lang ayaw nila I reverse late ko daw nireport ung lost card kaya liable parin ako bayaran kahit unauthorized kahit pa nireport ko naman agad same day nangyari ung transaction which was the day na nanakawan ako. Sinabi ko rin if pwd iopen for reinvestigation pero ayaw nila kaya nagfile nako case sa BSP
@@osheanlee last December pa po pero tumagal Ng 45 days investigation nila and gusto Ng bank bayaran ko lahat Ng unauthorized charges amounting to 175k. Magconsult na lang po ako sa lawyer.

Hi Charmaine! Tbh no idea since I did not apply for an IDRP. Diretso ako na collection agency kasi. But most likely mabilis lang dapat yun since banks would want to liquidate possible gains from their losses as much as possible. Hope this helps!
@@osheanlee hi , update , i didnt need to apply for IDRP na. They just give me lum sum amt na babayadan ko na kaya ko to clear my unpaid bill. Im just waiting for the final SOA and agreement na un lng babayadan ko and once settled clear na ko . I told them i will just settle once i have those documented and sent to me . My question is besides from that agreement, meron ba ko pwede hingin na papers ? Like may nabasa ako na naghihingi sya ng credit clearance certificate . Can i also ask for that? Thanks
@@charmwandersph6365 ang alam ko lang na binibigay nila is yung certificate of full payment kapag nabayaran mo na. not sure if we have in PH a credit clearance certificate
