Heather, you have caused me to pray more than I ever have in my entire life. Prayer is extremely important to me now and that stemmed from you. If I make it to Heaven, I will likely be forever indebted to you for your guidance and encouragement. Thank you so much!!

Amen sister in Christ ur a blessing to all! I pray the rosary a couple times a day, I pray the surrender novena, Divine Mercy, I listen to daily mass, I’m a OTR truck driver & I have time to pray for my family, friends & all humanity. My dad past away passed away in 2020 he loved the rosary, I had been praying the rosary by his bedside the night he passed away in his sleep, & our Blessed Mother appeared to me in a clear vision, she looked at me with her light brown eyes of mercy she was beautiful & a light was coming out from within her, please spread the rosary devotion. May u all have peace & joy in ur hearts. ❤📿🕊️

Heather u wouldn't believe this. I just was looking for this kind of a prayer routine video in UA-cam yesterday and I checked your channel first to see if there's any because your videos are amazing. Here you just dropped one right when I needed it. Thank you and God bless you ❤❤❤
Thanks for doing this. I need all the encouragement & ideas. A few months ago, I started Sing The Hours lauds & vespers every morning & evening before anything - no excuses. I appreciate you being here with us !
Hello everyone! What helps me connect to Jesus through prayer is meditating on the stations of the cross. I read, think and pray on each part of His Passion. It is the greatest love story of all. I just encourage everyone to pray/read a Stations of the Cross booklet. I have a dozen different ones I read. It is one of my favorite ways to praise and thank God. Meditating on the stations has brought me closer to God and given me the conviction of His GREAT love He has for each one of us.
Oh my! That trick about repeating what is being said at Mass is something I have been doing on and iff! In fact I thought it was my own invention since I never heard anyone else mention it! Hiw wonderful to know GOD is giving us the same helpful tools to handle our willing hearts which are handicapped by our unruly, distracted minds❤️❤️❤️✝️💙🙏💙
This is just perfect for me! Thank you so much, Heather for sharing your thoughts. I really can't wait to meet you in heaven one day- you are one of the loveliest people I know. May God bless you, your family and your work and everyone reading this ❤
I say little prayers throughout the day because a lot of life challenges can happen between morning and night! If I miss praying a rosary or Divine Mercy chaplet at the time, I will say it at another time. I even say a hello to my favourite saint, pray for us, thank you Saint .... Guardian Angel thank you! I talk to God in Eucharist Adoration, just a friend chat and ask Him to help me with a problem. Amazing results in God's time and His Wisdom is above our earthly understanding!
I always start with an examination of conscience. I try to say the Rosary every day, along with the Divine Mercy chaplet and the Chaplet for the Holy Souls in Purgatory. I also say the prayer to St Michael (which has helped me SO much) and the Guardian Angel prayers. I end with prayers for my family, peace on Earth and the conversion of sinners. Plus always prayers of Thanksgiving.
By far my favourite prayers are found in the small prayer book Mother Love, that was written a long time ago. But I love all the prayers in it. I start with a morning offering over myself and then over my children, at night blessing them with Holy water but most important everyday is a family Rosary with all 9 kiddos. It can be crazy with toddlers but they do soak it in too. Prayer is sooo important ❤
I loved this video. It made me realize that I’m not praying wrong because sometimes I feel God doesn’t listen to my prayers. But you have helped me realize that God works in a different way then I thought. ❤
When you say God has been very generous to you because you have a great life and that you are very grateful, that is easy to do. The challenge is for those who are really struggling in life and have so many issues and nothing seems to work out for them. People that have cancer, financial issues, drug problems, depression, no source of income or food to eat, physically abused. I look up to those people that struggle and are close to God and pray.
God gives and takes away that includes challenges. God gets to decide what he does with his blessings. We have all had challenges my parents are divorced, my dad died of Cancer, one year raising 5 kids by myself when my husband was in another country for work, I've had abuse, finical hardships and I could go on! Even in those struggles God was still generous with me because God gave us everything that was my point, you can still be close to God when you aren't struggling. It's not how much you struggle that gets you into heaven but doing the will of God.

I really needed this today. I’m struggling with my prayer and it’s because my will just isn’t strong enough to correct myself. I told myself I was going to get up early to spend time with God - I immediately started going to bed later and sleeping late. I told myself I was going to sit for a while with God and all of a sudden I can’t seem to find the time because other things are more important. I can’t focus on my rosary - I may be saying the Hail Marys but I’m not thinking about it at all, in fact I’m probably doing something else. Ever since I told myself a little over a year ago that I would pray more instead I feel I’ve gotten worse at it. Your suggestion to use PALE is a help because it seems I do a lot of offhand praying but never listening. And I’m going to have to strengthen my will, apparently. Thanks and many blessings!

A informative, timely video. I'd be interested if someone (anyone!) could estimate how much time someone spends in prayer. I ask that because I've been spending some time staying with the Benedictine monks in Ireland and with the work of St. Benedict's insights, they seem to consider how the time of their: 1)work, 2) prayer, and 3) sleep takes. And roughly they are in 3 equivalent parts of 8 hours each! I pray every day for the Liturgy of the Hours, for anytime from 2 to 5 times per day. I also pray the rosary most of the times every day. When I was living in Ireland, I would attend Mass most, but not all of the days (I now living in India and daily Mass is next to impossible!) I also read / study the Bible most of the time, about 30 minutes per day. So, as best as I can estimate, my Catholic prayer life takes several hours of a day, but nowhere near of my friends who are the Benedictine monks. I'd be interested to hear from "A Catholic Mom's Life", as well as anyone. Thanks for reading my comment. God Bless!

Am going through separation with my wife, maybe divorce soon. Am trying to save the marriage all I could, but her hardened heart wouldn't budge at all. She is just holding onto so much negative resentment towards me. I pity my 3 kids who couldn't have a completely loving family. Keep praying to Mother Mary for the intercession of my troubled marriage. It's been a year since we in separate rooms. The kids suffered from it the most.
Try not blaming your wife for her heart, hear what she has to say, be humble. Then, take responsibility, do what you have to do without whining. Pray for your wife and your family. Be likable, approachable. Pray three rosaries a day. Mary will strengthen your marriage.
Heather, I was wondering if your family goes to Latin Mass❤. My family started attending Latin Mass last year, and this has been such a blessing to us.
Oh I haven't heard of a prayer pattern like that before, that's really interesting. My prayer routine is I sleep holding onto my Rosary and in the morning, whilst I'm still laying in bed, I do a Rosary followed by the following prayers: Morning Offering, Traditional Act of Contrition, Armour of God, Guardian Angel prayer, St Michael the Archangel prayer, St Benedict Medal prayer then Prayer for Priests. If I have to travel to work early I will do all these prayers on the bus. I wonder if the order I've got this in is ok or could be rearranged to be better.
This is a great video, Heather. It touched on several things I struggle with. I'd love to see you do a video on how you read the Bible each day, as I struggle with that. Do you just open to random pages every day, or do you have a formal reading plan? Thank you for being such an inspiration. 💕
I grew up in an extremely Catholic home, but can you believe we never had the Bible? I am sure my family had it somewhere, but we didn’t read it at home. My husband and I still continue on our Catholic faith but I really want to get into the Bible more. I have been doing the Bible in a year (for over a year now, I listen to it on my commute to work but honestly, I switch between that, podcasts, and audiobooks so it has taken me over a year). I also read the Bible on the Ascension app, but I am a pen and paper girl and honestly need a hard copy. I have ordered about 5 and sent them back because the font was super small and the pages were so thin that I was nervous to mark them up. My questions are: 1. What exact bible do you use? Do you highlight in it or anything or just read it? 2. Do you follow a specific reading plan or just go wherever your heart calls you daily? 3. How many times have you finished the Bible, if you have finished reading it? 4. Is your Bible just for you or your whole family? I want to get the Ascension Bible large print for me, along with the leather like version for my husband. I also want a miraculous medal and a new crucifix for my home but honestly, all I see is the over $400 that would all cost me. It’s overwhelming but I am not a new Catholic and feel called to these items. 5. Does your husband read the Bible? Does he have his own? Any tips that he has for my husband? 6. What about your children? I just need all of the details because I have honestly been called for 3 years with a lot of things that I keep getting anxiety over because I want to get it right. Like I am terrified to buy an $80 Bible and mark it up- what if I highlight too much or mark it up wrong? What if I go back to that section and then what I highlighted is no longer as important as another part? I keep praying to God over these things because I spend hours each night researching thinking I will find some miracle (I have done this for 2 solid years) and it honestly then just takes so much time away from my other priorities.
Another alternative to the PAL method is PRAY. P: praise (sing praise and worship song, prayers of thanksgiving) R: repent (examination of conscience) A: ask (prayers of petition) Y: yield (silence, letting God speak to us in Scripture)
What would you recommend for a prayer life for a mom of young toddlers and babies? I have 8 month old twins and a 5 and almost 4 year old. I don’t have time to pray and even when I could pray I’m too tired. I would have to wake up at 5am or earlier in order to pray but I am up multiple times a night with babies. I feel like I’m very distant from God in this season of life and that seems so backwards to me because I’m living out the vocation he gave me and taking care of babies that he gave me.
Hi, I have a question for you. I’ve been noticing a trend that people have been putting their rosaries around their neck as a necklace I was under the impression that you’re not supposed to do that. Is that true?
I go to Holy Mass everyday but Saturdays and I pray the whole Rosary (the 4 of them) but still feel alone. I know that I need to try harder to get to the point which most of you are at. I think that my main problem is that I can’t talk about my faith to anybody, my family and friends are not interested in Jesus.
I completely understand I have felt that way so much in my life, I realized that sometimes that is a way to draw nearer to God. I have had so many seasons in my life some seasons where full of good Catholic friends and other times it wasn't. You are never alone God is always with you.

What a beautiful and helpful video Heather ❤

Love your videos!
Another wonderful vlog 🙏🏼💖🙏🏼
Loved this. Thank you!
Pray Rosary every day. Ask mother Mary to help you safe your marriage. Nothing is impossible with God 🙏🙏
I need those prayers 🙏
You should do a video on the Bible! I’m new to learning and would love to learn more about the Bible and how to read it daily ❤️
My questions are:
P: praise (sing praise and worship song, prayers of thanksgiving)
R: repent (examination of conscience)
A: ask (prayers of petition)
Y: yield (silence, letting God speak to us in Scripture)
That is great! I love this thank you for sharing!
Hello, where did you buy mother Mary sculpture it looks so beautiful ❤
What would you recommend for a prayer life for a mom of young toddlers and babies? I have 8 month old twins and a 5 and almost 4 year old. I don’t have time to pray and even when I could pray I’m too tired. I would have to wake up at 5am or earlier in order to pray but I am up multiple times a night with babies. I feel like I’m very distant from God in this season of life and that seems so backwards to me because I’m living out the vocation he gave me and taking care of babies that he gave me.
Say Jesus I trust in you often.
❤❤❤
Hi Heather! May I know the name of the Bible you are using and may I know where got the Bible case cover. It's beautiful. Thank you❤
Sure I did a blog about it awhile ago this is what I use:) acatholicmomslife.com/my-prayer-time/
Please I have a personal question can you kindly assist me on how I can reach out to you?
Thank you so much.
Hi, I have a question for you. I’ve been noticing a trend that people have been putting their rosaries around their neck as a necklace I was under the impression that you’re not supposed to do that. Is that true?
Please pray to the Holy face. For reparation for blasphemy etc xx
Heather, what bible do you use?
I did a blog about what bible I use here. acatholicmomslife.com/my-prayer-time/
I go to Holy Mass everyday but Saturdays and I pray the whole Rosary (the 4 of them) but still feel alone.
Please pray for children who are being trafficked and for Amber. Zaidan. Louie. Barry. Samantha and Charlotte xxx
Do have The Great Adventure Catholic Bible ?
yes!
Jesus and me Holy mass first than all else
