Personally I wasn't a fan of the angel at all, but the devil was super cool!
The different looks like some kind of Jim Henson character
Maybe shading with blues would've given you what you were looking for? It's a good way to shade white while keeping it bright.

Totally agree with your vision here. I also feel as if she would have used very light blue contacts that would have represented the purity. Another thought.. Actually make the wings, and form them to go around the shoulders to her chest area. She is so good with creating prosthetics, along with body painting.

Yellows and blues work best for whites looking a little brighter.

I know this'll probably be lost in all the comments but I would adore to see a series where you create characters based on parts of life. For example: time, love, death, nature, etc. I feel like your imagination could create some killer character concepts based on these.

It’s a shame body paint doesn’t come in different finishes! Super matte, satin, glossy etc. so you could use only white and have that 3D effect
I suppose you could play with mixing some shimmer or something 🤷♀️
I know snazzaro does like shimmer body paint and metallic body paint which is pretty cool, I have the gold metallic one and it is beautiful! I hope you have a great day ❤️!

I love how the fade on the chin of the devil makes it hard to tell where, exactly your face ends and your neck begins.
When i think about angels, i think about white and gold🥰 maybe some gold will help you not be so nervous for your next angel🥰 but your angel still looks really good💖

You know what would be cool. Making a design inspired by biblically accurate angels.
First, this turned out so incredibly amazing!!!! If you wanted to do this style again in the future, may I suggest blue? As a painter, I often accent white with blues or golds. I find it creates a softer blend that the eye perceives as natural shading thanks to clouds. Just wanted to share my experience, don't want to downplay your work!!! You look so good!!!!

YESSS, whenever i try to shade anything i want to be pure white i always end up using light blues and grey, it creates a really cool ethereal look but then i always end up using too much and it turns a little murky but it all works out in the end!

Tip! If you want to have variations in white, use blues to intensify the shadows, it usually works for me. The same for intensifying black. I know there’s a scientific reason for this, but I can’t really remember. I think something to do with true blue not being in nature much? Awesome look though!

Nothing makes white look whiter than black, so using more dark colors makes sense! Looks awesome!
They both turned out really cool! I wanted to say that I’ve seen some artists use very light blues as a way to shade white, I don’t know how that would work with body painting, but maybe? Just if you ever have another white character in the future. Also maybe you could start with a light beige, then use a cooler time for shading and tons of stark white for highlights all over?
