oh yes absolutely, I always think like M5 is an example of engineers masterpiece and should be kept that way, anyways ppl are still free to do what they want, but with a 540i, its much cheaper but still very quick, isnt so dangerous if you supercharge it, lower it, and these cars they really give you the best for your the money
I hate to be riding a "shot gun" with the driver who thinks he has a full control of his "high performance" car with only one hand on the steering wheel. Your "shifter hand" should jump back on the wheel as soon as finding the right gear at opt RPM. Driving fast is fine, but please do it "right" so no one gets killed.

I love it.I won't drive mine with any vigour while raining...I consider myself very lucky after a near crash. For some reason I was having fun with dsc off....did a perfect 360 and didn't hit anything.I love my 2000 540.it was dinan stage 2 when I bought it.it's a fast 4dr.you also gotta have balls to push this car !mine will go at least180...I know that for a fact ....never again.scary thing is if I was on say a salt flat or longer straight away it would have gone faster....it was still winding up!
I adore my 540. I hope you don't always drive with the traction control on. If you really want to unleash the full potential of the 540 drive with it off. It severely cuts power to the wheels under hard acceleration, but it is probably a good idea to have on in the rain. Cool vid!

+omar I figured it was for speed but it was kinda random 3-4 right back to 3 thing haha sounds sick tho looking to hop in a 540 this week anything you think I should look into pre purchase
Alberrrrt Honestly I drove mine and abused the hell out of it almost everyday, bought mine for $2500 salvage 130-140k miles didn't even know because the pixels were blurred. Only thing to ever go wrong was the valve cover gasket, but check for a good cooling system and for any oil leaks. And don't buy a high mileage one stay under 150k otherwise their pretty solid cars. Regret selling mine everyday tbh.

I just deleted my mufflers and I want more loud. Did you lose any HP doing the resonator delete and did you weld a pipe all the way to the bumper exit
didn't have a pipe welded so it was losing power, but on my current e34 I did a muffler and resonator delete and I haven't felt any loss.
