Nice review. It's not a terrible buggy. I see a $40 coupon, which brings it to around $260. For a 4x4 brushless 1/8th scale that price is hard to beat

Venum, was junk back in the day and looked more like toy grade, this looks like they haven't changed their formula one bit😆😂🤣

In no world this thing is ever worth your money, bigger wheels on old 1/10 sct chassis with crap chinesium pot metal downgrades. Monkey see shiny newbie trap alu arms yikes
Ive guess the only reason it didnt overheat was that the included battery was so pathetic bottlenecking the system, normal hosim stuff.
Maybe after cutting the alu crap, going back to plastic and dropping price to 170ish it would start making sense

Powdered metal gears is likely referring to metal sintered gears. Metal powder is pressed into molds at very high pressure and/or heated (but not to the melting point). Super common these days. Power tools like drills, etc often have sintered metal gears. It's cost effective and perfectly good for appropriate applications. Think of it like pressing fluff snow into a hard snowball. 😁👍

All that metal just means you break plastic.

And bend parts lol. I normally keep my bashers all plastic as much as possible. Plastic flexes and goes back where aluminum bends and stays.
