Pretty sure they actually have a guy who controls them manually for meshuggah! I believe he is related to one of the band members
MESHUGGAH IS LIFE
The big bang was actually meshuggahs first piece, they created time and matter...
Never get tired of the last two minutes of straws 🤘🏻

I agree. How about 3 hours worth on loop :)
@@666monkeyboy pfffff say what?!!
Yuuuuup. Incredible beauty.
666monkeyboy why thank you good sir
@@666monkeyboy I didn't know how much I needed that... Thank you... Truly..
Worth noting a correction that Per Nilsson is filling in for Thordendal here on Guitar
D B IIRC this has been the case since early 2018. Some sort of tendon issues in his wrist I believe. Either way, not complaining about Nilsson in Meshuggah whatsoever
There's a rumor that they're in the studio working on material right now
Man i was thinking, did Thordendal go bald and grew a beard??? That doesn't look right lol
Was about to say that
D B I think that, at first, Fredrik had a child and wanted to stay home with his family for a while. I don’t know about the injury and other reasons mentioned here, but I recall that being a reason at the beginning.
Messugah are a constant explosion what most bands can't get, must just be admired for the quality throughout and to holdup to their golden era
All killer no filler
That gnome guitarist is killer
He’s amazing player Per Nilsson and nobody even notices. He’s substitute to F. Thordendal since 2017. And in video description isn’t mentioned. :(
These guys have an unbelievable amount of ability to manipulate time...Absolutely untouchable...And look relaxed ALMOST bored destroying time signature...Absolutely amazing...
this one goes down for generations to come! send this to space...should be our answer to the abyss looking at us!
I love how “the hurt that finds you first” starts out with a snare roll that builds in dynamics and the lights match it. New favorite intro
Un groupe vraiment très original tant harmoniquement , qu'au niveau des climats étranges, et rythmiquement polyrythmique ! Ils ont gagnés un prix je crois ! vraiment fantastique et complexe musicalement !
Per is such a goddamn beast.
this really needs to be properly mixed
www1.wdr.de/mediathek/video/sendungen/rockpalast/video-meshuggah---summer-breeze--100.html this version is mmmuch better. something must've messed up when they uploaded it to UA-cam.
@@whoisdin Tx! unpirated version is MIXed :)
0:21 "Are my headphones broken? Wtf?"
0:22 First comment: This.
It sounds like it got collapsed to mono for the YT upload.
@Zeus or maybe your ears suck and you can't tell the difference
if you really pay attention, the guitarists and Tomas aren't really head banging, they're all extremely focused staying on beat, and especially on Bleed the guitarists are all still just making sure they're on tempo. just amazing musicianship
They're playing with a click.
These guys rarely move around or bang heads. They dont need to do anything, their music speaks for itself. Their stage presence is being absolute gods of their instrument
Per Nilsson is absolutely KILLING IT "filling in" for Fredrik.
Jens is the rare vocalist who's screams sound better as time goes on.
yup
youtube doesnt carry the full image im afraid tho
i saw them at this very concert and his screams sound as if someone tried to scream for the first time and does it by force I MEAN THAT IN A GOOD WAY
he is so powerful in his delivery
I've seen them twice and was probably the best sounding performances I've ever heard.
Good god. How are these dudes peaking when they're mostly grey hairs?! Stunning performance. True legends.
Those light beams on Straws Pulled at Random are so heavy they could crush the audience.
The lighting effects and their sound makes the singer, guitar and bass players look like alien gods from a far view.
Straws pulled at random is beyond beauty
21:00 Future breed machine was released in 1995, while they dont have the stage presence they did back then, their precision and sound is remarkable.
First sex with EDI, the CD came right after koRn Issues. I had this revolving CD players. Looking back, that was some crazy moment.
This is my favourite next to gojira band ever.. i was on their 2 concerts in Poland... They do a great job with MUSIC&LIGHTS... They tracks are the best!! My every visit on the gym with their music in my headphones!! they are THE BEST !!!!
Add Edvard Hansson (Stage light mixer) to the lineup!
Bleed drumming is from another planet… surreal…
Seeing and hearing and feeling a meshuggah concert is unlike any other metal concert. It's unlike anything I've ever experienced. I was stunned, in utter shock and awe. Even the songs off Immutable, which I don't particularly like (yet), sent me over the moon.
hell of a light show
Came to say this! As a programmer, this is fucking sick! Was super curious how bleed would look.. Not disappointed in the slightest. Dude was on point the entire way through.
@@EnCrypticon23x It has been programmed since around 2012 (Koloss) when they started using in ear click tracks. It was impressive before when it was done live, and it is impressive now, because it is so much more going on that matches everything so fucking majestically.
@@adamnilsson566 so, it's timecoded? It would make sense for something like this since timing on everything is so tight. Either way, it's rad as fuck and nothing but respect for the programmer.
I think its too much. That with the music. overkill.
@@albinobeach There's not even that move movement... Alot of great positions and proper color palettes. Respectfully, I'm curious what you'd do differently.
Dual floor toms is such an Alpha move. I love these guys \m/
I’ve seen many live bands.
Meshuggah is incomparable.
It’s more then just the best live band.
It’s like a trip. An experience.
Even a bit spiritual.
Very true they are. More that alien music style love it
Jeff Arab Excellent way of describing it! Alien music indeed
Without a doubt the most professional musicians you’ll ever see. NOTHING they do takes away from the music.
how bro...how!!!!!!! no mistakes....so clean....they are doctors on metal........incredible 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Playing Bleed at the end of the set is madness and they killed it.
I would *BLEED* out just to be there. Amazing.
When the concert gives you both tinnitus and a epileptic seizure... and you quite love it.
That several minute transition to Rational Gaze was godlike
That's just the ending of The Hurt That Finds You First - it's basically just like that on the album version, with a less involved lead part
@@aeanominae I know
The most talented band I have come across, truly unique. You won't ever see another band like meshuggah.
I thoroughly love Meshuggah. They make amazing music and I have supported them by buying every album, I've seen them twice live, and will continue to go every time I can, I've bought merch at every show, and I stream their music. I got really bummed out just now though thinking about how many shows these guys do and how often they play the same tracks over and over and they seem to play almost exactly the same set every time, and I just really hope they like playing their music as much as I like listening to it and seeing them perform.
Low frequencies: Am I a joke to you?
True lmao
seriously. what the hell is this mix?
@@TheHitchboy I know right!! I think it's safe to say we're listening to a straight out the board PA-ish mix? Not an 'aux send' one for some reason. It's almost 2020 and we're still getting these hehe
@@MixYourWay I dont think so. PA-mix usually means bathtub EQ: lots of lows, reduced mids, lots of highs...
Theres something wrong with the sound is this video...
@@Chris-yy7qc In that case then shit's even weirdier than we thought xDDD
4:44 heaviest, most satisfying bass slide ever.
Clockworks, what a song to be played live! \m/
After all my years listening to meshuggah Bleed is still insane
This replacement for touring is amazing! I loved his playing and solo during The Hurt That Finds You First.

this cracked me up
AHAHAHAHAHHA omfg
You have a weird refrigerator 😂
A synonym for “perfect” = Meshuggah.
In a sentence, That pizza slice is cooked to Meshuggah.
Sally thinks she’s Meshuggah.
That's the most Meshuggah sentence I've read on youtube to date.
lol
Jiddish ftw. 🤓
Meshuggah.
I can only say that it is amazing‼︎ From JAPAN.
Beautiful and raw, just that, Beautiful!!!!
No costume get up
No bullshit
