This video shows you how to install new, quality, TRQ headlight assemblies on your 2003-2009 Toyota 4Runner. Over time, headlight lenses become dull and hazy. You'd be surprised how much that affects your night time visibility! Replacing your headlight assembly is an easy way to improve safety and appearance on your vehicle.
This repair was done on a 2003 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4.0L Sport Utility 4-Door and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:

In this episode we disassemble the entire 4 runner to change the oil. Once the engine is removed, you can easily get to the oil pan bolts. After you remove the oil pan to can check the bearings and give them a wipe down. Once the engine is back in and the oil pan installed, reassemble the truck and drain the oil. Don't forget the filter. Should only take 8-12 hours depending on tools and skill.
I didn't think that removing the front bumper was necessary to replace the headlight lens.

I just replaced my 06 and definitely did not remove the bumper lol😂
LOL you had some help with LADY LUCK it seems....because when you picked the bumper up to put it back on you only had to stand in the middle and set it up on and in place and that was it.....Wow!.....you never had to go to the sides and push them/clip them into place....bet you can't do that again.....
