- Take a look at hotels online for Cappadocia, and you’ll be bombarded with a long list of cave hotels. Cappadocia is a region in central Turkey where people have been living in the rock formations since the Bronze Age. Today we’re in Göreme, the most famous town in Cappadocia. Known for its cave hotels and epic hot air balloon rides rising with the sun. As we were researching places to stay, we came across this place. A cave hotel with ONLY 5-star reviews on Tripadvisor AND Google? How is that even possible? We’re here to find out!

This is great. The interiors and exteriors of these cave hotels are spectacular. Similarly good boutique hotels exist in the holiday villages of Izmir, Mugla. Urla, Çeşme, Foça, Seferihisar, Gümüldür from Izmir and Bodrum, Datça, Dalaman, Fethiye from Mugla. I suggest Saklıkent canyon, Pamukkale travertines too. Gokceada and Bozcaada islands are worth traveling as well. By the way, I loved the orderliness of shots and scenes during the videos. They are to the point. Cheers.

Thanks for the cool video! That hotel looked amazing (and so did the breakfast). The views from the roof/terrace were pretty epic. Would you do the balloon ride again, if you ever visit that area again? It looked cool, but I'd be a bit scared LOL.

I absolutely, positively, 100% co-sign the Luvi Hotel! I had the good fortune of staying there this past April and everything was just superb. From Gurkan, the host, to the mascot, Max, everything was perfect. And I see that Gurkan and Max made cameos in your video; I am so glad to see them again! 😁 I am so thrilled that you stayed where I did and that you had the same reaction as I when I stayed there!

Oh my gosh, that is gorgeous! So worth the price. Yeah, I love a room that is bright otherwise I get in a slump. What are those big rock made out of? Sort of looks like limestone. Do you have good WiFi? Those hot air balloons are amazing.

You can just take a regular taxi! We had no problems 😍 although you end up paying a bit more that way!

Travelled to Cappadocia last Sun night Sept 18th for our big bucket list planned hot air balloon flight on Monday morn. … but unfortunately we found out on arrival that all balloon flights were cancelledlled for the next day due to weather conditions.. had to return to Istanbul on Monday so could not reschedule.. still upset..😢. So can’t look at your vlog vid I’m afraid.. glad you had the experience…
