Cappadocia was one of my favorite places to visit. From the views and culture to the food in the region. Everyone was kind and excited to help me with any questions. I will definitely be going back
Im glad I came across your YT videos when doing some research and I used them as guides to get around Türkiye during our visit from 1-15 November. My wife and I flew from Singapore to Istanbul and then to Kayseri. From there we rented a car and did a road trip around Türkiye I also stayed at this Canela Cave Hotel. We were at room 7 and enjoyed the view sooooo much especially in the early mornings to watch the hotair balloons. My wife and I are soo glad that we took your advice to try this hotel. The people are nice even though communication was minimal due to language barriers. But they are all so friendly and accommodating. The Turkish breakfast was something new for us as this was our first. I enjoy them as it is like homemade meals served to you with all that cheese and breads. Now being back home we felt part of our heart were left there especially at this hotel where we had a lovely time. Again I wish to thank you for making videos that are helpful for people like me.
I loved this video! We stayed 3 nights and it wasn't long enough to see everything. There is so much to do in this region. Thank you Bery for showing how wonderful Cappadocia is.
We agree! We have been about 5 times in Cappadocia and we always find new places to see, the very first time we stayed 5 full days, it wasn’t enough either 🥹
I really enjoyed cuppadocia to, I stayed only one day , missed the balloon ride as the weather was bad , it was in February , will surely come a visit it again , atleast 3-5 days ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉 thanks again for your supportive tips Bery
Thank you for this video. I traveled there several years ago and went to most of the well-known places, and did a hot air balloon ride. I'm planning to return next year if everything works out.
You've done such a wonderful job of providing this overview of Cappadocia, as well as all your travel videos of Turkiye, thank you! Sadly, with inflation, Turkiye is becoming less and less accessible to everyday tourists, I can only imagine how hard it is for the locals. The Times has run a number of articles recently promoting tourism in Turkiye...it is all about luxury travel. Personally, I feel 250 euros for a hot air balloon ride is far too much, especially sharing with 18 or more people in a basket.... In 2024, many food, drink and tourist entry sites in Turkiye are just no longer budget friendly.
Thank you for watching our videos! And you’re right, Türkiye is no longer a super budget-friendly destination as before. Especially attractions are expensive but the ones in Istanbul mainly, those are shockingly expensive. For certain activities like the balloon and if one really wants to do it, is better to wait for the low season 🎈
@@BeryIstanbulTipsThank you for the tip! We are visiting in June and can't wait (travelling from South Africa) Determined to make the most of it, but some experiences are sadly now out of the budget, like Hagia Sofia and hot ballooning. We will still enjoy the culture, people and food, I'm sure 🙂Thank you again!
@@littlenatsta When you want visit more places orderd before maybe the "Museum Pass" for 5 days so you can visit many places for 100 Euro and many attractions like Mosques and some Art Museums are mostly free ...I am shure that Berry will be make a Video with Art Gallerys or Museums and places where you can visit for free or less prices , maybe it ill be help many travellers ;)
You have made a really nice video on Cappadocia. So informative and elaborately covered the entire palaces of interest at Cappadocia. I am impressed and have a great desire to visit the place. Thanks a lot for this awesome video.
Thank you Bery- a fabulous guide to Cappadocia and beyond - especially your Cave Hotel and Cinar Rugs - I am traveling to Turkiye in May this year and Cappadocia is on the itinerary- so looking forward to this holiday. ❤🤗✔🇹🇷🇦🇺
Excellent video on cappadocia👍 I will be there with a tour in a week or so but looks like I need to do another longer trip to see all the wonderful things mentioned in the video
Have fun! To do all the things listed you might need 5 full days, the first time we visited Cappadocia about 7 years ago, we were able to do all of that plus a few other places, but in 2-3 days will be very difficult but in a short period of time you can focus on the main attractions which still worth a visit ☺️
Hi! I just watched Project Atticus and the food tour; it was amazing. So, I had to subscribe to your channel!!. I will enjoy watching your videos! Wishing you a beautiful day! I actually lived in Ankara when I was very little for 3 years. I would love to come visit!
Absolutely! But still cheaper than Istanbul 🥹 Is normal, the more touristy a place is, the more expensive it is going to be, this happens all around the world.
👋🏼 Small struggling Travel Channel here. I love your content, thanks for this great video! You inspire me to keep grinding my channel, maby one day I’ll grow as big as you 🥲
We’re from Asia and saw you at the Gorame Open Air Museum! Didn’t get the opportunity to say hello. Your videos are great and looking forward to visiting Turkey again equipped with more of your tips!
Awww! Really? I wish you had said hello! I love to meet my followers when they see me around somewhere in 🇹🇷. I hope you enjoy your trip in Cappadocia 🎈
Hi Bery...we are planning to visit Turkey in September....truly ...things are very expensive nowadays i find....but we would like to celebrate our anniversary on hot air balloon this year🎉...any recommendation for balloons ride agency ...keep going ❤
I went there last October. Tip. Always ask people from your hotel to book yout hot air balloon, they are local and they know which company offers good deal. I paid mine 168$US.
Exactly, there are different ways to get prices, through your hotel, local agencies, or directly from the hot air balloon companies, I already have a video about that, I recorded it about 3 years ago and listed 10 reliable hot air balloon companies.
I am really interested in taking the same tour that you did, but I'm kind of confused as well. You recommended staying an extra day in case of bad weather and not being able to ride a hot air balloon. Is there a way to extend your time in Cappadocia from the normally schedule world tour time?
Thank you for such a lovely and detailed video. I have a question for Goreme. Can't we hire bike/scooty to see the underground city? And why? Is it because of weather or road or something else? We are travelling in last week of March 2024.
Hi, there! Both underground cities are kind of far from Göreme, however, the roads are good. You can see with the local agencies of you can hire a scooty, if not, maybe your best bet would be hiring a car, driving there is very easy. Hope this helps!
What type of payment do they take at the entrances of museums like the pasabag/zelve, underground city, and open air. museum? Do they take credit card?
Great video, but I have a question. I am going to visit cappadocia for a week later this year, and I want to rent a car. Do I need to have an international driving permit alongside my driving licence from my home country to drive in Turkey? Because I have read online that if I am visiting for less than 3 months then my license is enough, there is no need for IDP. However, some other websites said that I need an IDP alongside my license no matter the duration I will be visiting Turkey for, if I want to drive in Turkey. Could you please clarify? Thanks 🙏
Hi, did you already completed your trip? I am traveling next month. I am also going to rent a car. I am wondering should I book green tour and Red tour or travel those places by myself using car? Any advise?
