Why use a simple and reliable 50 cent toggle switch when you can spend hours and hours building a complicated circuit board and 3-D printing a space-consuming case to do the same thing? /sarc
A very nice looking print. The control box is a bit over the top for my taste. I once also 3d printed a fume extractor but used a simple toggle switch instead.
That works fine too - I considered to add a rocker switch somewhere on the extractor hood but couldn't find a good place for it and I also needed to add a 12V power supply, that's why I ended up with a separate control box.
Extra points for the Cherry key switch. 🤩
Yeah, why settle for something less than that 😍😁
Nice and chill build!
I second that! Very rad build.....
That is really nice. Thank you for all the work you put into that. Definitely my next project.
My pleasure, best of luck with the build
Cool project - thank you! Earned a sub 😊👍🏻
Thanks! Welcome 😊
Yes, this was very interesting, thank you. Do you make the pc boards and sell them (un-assembled or assembled)? Thank you again.
If there is a demand for that I will do it.
Not so good if the fumes are not venting to the outside.
Sure, do you have that at home?
The carbon filter will catch the fumes good enough for hobby purposes
Overkill for a simple switch and barrel jack😭
Overkill is my middle name 😄😅

Because it's fun...?
Button pretty.
