I would like to point out that there has been a spike in snorkeling related deaths in the last few years and full face masks has been implemented to a disproportionate degree meaning they may be less safe than traditional masks. Also, it is not possible to equalized the pressure with them since you can't pinch your nose while wearing them. It is also difficult to take them off as compared to traditional masks. I would suggest they should only be used in very shallow water, in other words, in water you can stand up in and have your head above the surface while standing on the bottom. That would be 4-5 feet deep for most people.
I’m going to Maldives next month and really want to try Snorkelling and Scuba diving but alert alert I’m so afraid of deep waters and with the thought of being under water plus I don’t know swimming. Do you think I should do that? 😀
